Would put 0 but can't , booked for brothers 40th got there and told are booking was delayed 45 minutes. As we had a coach collecting us we did not have the time so we requested are money back they said fine and all staff agreed they even said they would do the same and that we would not be out in time for coach and told us the process for a refund

It's now been 10 days and head office are not willing to refund and all the staff at the maze have lied and said we wasn't delayed making a further mockery of us, one staff member with the name Micheal

We was a large booking so the company have pocketed nearly £800

Do not go here absolutely ruined my brothers 40th and not willing to refund still an ongoing dispute

We booked tickets via the corporate booking as a few members of our teams needed an accessible show due to hearing difficulties.

We arrived and they could not find our booking as the corporate and public computers were not linked. They then could not honourour booking as the public system was fully booked, and they were unable to offer an accessible show anyway.

This was booked for a birthday party and people travelled from Edinburgh and the Netherlands to be here.

We were there 90 minutes in total but did not get passed the reception zone.

We were given a complimentary visit and had a fantastic experience. If we hadn't had a poor first impression this could have been a 5 star review

The whole experience can be a bit like bowling, fun waiting for your turn. The props and build is impressive. The real enjoyment comes from your your host. Ours was amazing! I think she was called Big S, the lady in red tracksuit from New York. She made the whole experience for us. Without her it wouldn’t have been as fun as it was. We was on a work team building day and she took away any apprehension and awkwardness from the activity and deserves all the accolades for bringing fun and energy to the crystal maze. Thank you Big S.

Sasha was our guide and made the whole experience fun and exciting.
We were a party of 6 and four of us arrived 5 minutes late. They accommodated us without issue and we quickly got into the swing of it, doing mental and physical games in a superb setting. Sasha was great in the way she led us around and led us to each zone full of enthusiasm. Can highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future.

We had a amazing time today. We went as a family for my sons 16th birthday.

My youngest was 10, Nate was brilliant with him (and us) selecting the rooms he would be good at.

Went for my hen do. Absolutely fantastic loved every bit will be returning again.

A group of 7 of us did this as an activity on my friends hen party and had such a great time! We each had at least 2 tasks and a group one so everyone was included. It had a good range of different tasks from physical to mental so everyone could be comfortable doing something!

It was well set up and looked exactly like the tv show. Our game master was Bernard who had us laughing from start to finish and super helpful. Big shout to Phoebe as well who helped him!

A proper fun day out and would highly recommend to others!

Bronwynn was our guide through the maze and she really made it a superb experience. She kept the games fun and engaging, positive despite pur massive blunders and mostly, she made it a barrel of laughs!

Thanks to all the team. Hilarious.

Tickets give an arrival window only, not an entry time. Arrived at the start of our window to be told it would be 1.5 hours to wait before we could start the experience. Hanging around with kids is an awful start to the experience. Staff were dismissive and was told this was in T+Cs, which now having read is untrue.

Came with work for a night out and it was fab. Our maze master Pamela was amazing! Such a brilliant character and had so much fun! Really brought the memories of the TV show back! Thankyou!

We were a group of 8, we all really loved the experience we had ‘Jem Stone’ as our host and she was honestly one of the best parts of the whole experience. Would recommend 10/10 had a great day, great atmosphere and staff. Thanks again Jem Stone you really are a star!

Attended with family in a group of 6.
The start was late and after 15minutes past the time slot ended we got called up. We were then advised we had to wait as there was possibly another pair to join us, so we waited another 5 minutes before being advised we will proceed with out them.
We signed the disclaimers, had a couple of green screen photos taken and then had the video introduction started, this was disturbed through out with the door being opened with a group standing outside the door. There was then a discussion between two of the staff members which they did standing directly in front of the screen, seemingly oblivious that we were there. We were then told the other two were joining us and they were simply told to sign the disclaimers and pushed through the door with us. They were clearly upset and they advised they were there to celebrate one of their birthdays and were a group of six and were split.
We then started the maze, we were told to walk through a corridor, then through a door and came across the medeival zone. We stood there in anticipation waiting for some thing to happen, someone to jump out, and then we started looking at the books on the shelf and peeking through the gaps in the doors and shutters to the challenges. Eventually, I ended up walking back and asked if we were going to get someone to take us around? To which I was advised that they thought we already had someone. I went back and waited a few more minutes and eventually we had our guide arrive.
The guide was enthusiastic and re directed negative comments as though she was extremely experienced at this. Eventually we finally started the maze.
Initially all was going well until we started experiencing serious issues with the challenges, mainly due to them not being re set up from previous use or lack of maintenance examples include (i have minimised what i am putting so the CM knows which challenge i am referring to but doesn't give any detail which may reduce others enjoyment once CM sorts out the current mess):
The motorised vehicle did not work, repeatedly attempted to fix, eventually told to ditch the vehicle and just run which turned the challenge into merely something to do to get a crystal.
Taken and set up for a ball drop game, where you had to catch them, but no balls in the basket to start, so left the challenge and went to do another wasting time, we were then brought back to the same challenge with another of the party advised it had been set and started to find there were only a few balls in the basket and not enough to complete the challenge. The challenge was stopped and the guide went in advising they had new ghost which were behaving badly, and retrieved balls, of which there were plenty, and the challenge re started.
Another challenge we had to get enough points throwing balls at targets as they lit. The scores had not been re set and the guide advised enough points had been made and then said the person inside appeared to be having fun and left them to continue to the end of the time (this person only did one challenge as advised at the end there was no more time!)
Another challenge you have to fill bowls with sand by filling split bamboo. Unfortunately there was no sand left on the side of the contestant, it was all piled next to the bowls apparently where someone had repeatedly gone in to re set the room but just emptied all the sand out of the bowls and not returned it to where you need it to do the challenge.
A challenge with a crane, the girl on our team found it nearly impossible to use as needed so much strength to use, she is no shrinking violet, children would not be able to do this. Bit of maintenance needed here.
There were other instances of going into rooms and being pulled out where not ready, others where there was no crystal in place to collect.
We lost so much time with the delays, being left alone, swapping from challenges that several of the group did not get to do two challenges each. For the cost per head to go in there and for some to only do one challenge (and some of them were a farce), is bad and when you take into account the costs being charged CM really need to have a complete overhaul.
We are not ones to complain or say anything in these circumstances and was aware that it wasn't just our family there so kept a smile on our faces and carried on.
The guide tried her hardest to keep everything on track and would say is a credit to CM, however even she let slip when on the walkie talkie presuming we couldn't hear I guess, where even she came out with the comment 'absolute nightmare!' to a colleague.
I cannot recommend anyone attending here, until they have a full overhaul and get a system in place to make sure the experience they are charging big bucks for is of a suitable standard. The place is well set up and the sets are fantastic, but the experience offered needs to match.

2 years useless!

We were a family of 8, ages ranged from 10 to 54. The whole experience was amazing. The photo opportunities at the start made the time go quickly. We were assigned 'Rocko' as our Maze Master, who was brilliant. Our youngest member was a bit frightened to begin with and Rocko seemed to read the best way to get her involved. In the end she was absolutely loving it and hasn't stopped watching old series of the Crystal Maze since.
Everyone had an opportunity to get involved. We played 16 games and came away with 13 crystals to place in the dome at the end. The experience lasted nearly 2 hours. As a family experience it was brilliant and I would definitely recommend. Thanks again Rocko.

Danger Mouse, Dan and Mads were amazing hosts! Thank you for making our Crystal Maze experience so much fun. Our group was made up of. An 9 year old to a 45 year old and Danger Mouse pitched his hosting skills brilliantly and made us each laugh out loud. Highly recommend this experience if you are looking to do something a little different with a mixed age group. Happy New Year to the team at Crystal Maze Manchester!

Crystal maze an amazing experience !!!
Went as a team of 3 and were teamed up with a great family of 5. Age range of team was 10 to 64yrs and a fantastic time had by all !!!
Our maze master was Danger Mouse who definately made the day !!! He was zany,quick witted, funny and kept us all on her toes, whilst ensuring no-one was embarrassed or singled out if they failed their task, with consideration for everyones safety and capabilities. Thankyou Danger mouse you were amazing!!! a massive asset to the crystal maze experience Manchester, and thank you to Sian for your welcome and introduction.
Would recommend to anyone, and will definately be back !!!

Had a very good time was great fun just like the program! The host was great too, my only issue would be that it’s a shame that you only get to do 2 games considering how expensive it is, I would of thought for the price u would do a lot more that what u actually get to do but it was great fun neather the less

Great team-building exercise with workmates. Gemma was an outstanding host, she really made the experience even better.

Loved this experience. It was fun to be in a team with people we never met before to try and win the crystals. The host was fun and made us laugh, would definitely recommend 🙂

A fantastic immersive adventure just like the classic TV series. The games were fun and exciting, the ambience within each zone was great, and the real icing on the cake was our guide to the maze "Danger mouse" He really brought everything together with his witty banter and eccentric enthusiastic performance. Utterly Brilliant.
