TCC is South Australia’s hidden gem, while other bullion dealers in this state have high premiums and unfriendly buy back prices, TCC by far is the most ethical and honest business. Ben and Adam are quick to respond regardless of how big or small your order is. Their website clearly displays the metal price and the premiums so one can make a wise decision based on individual requirements and the pre order timelines are pretty accurate.If you are local you can save on shipping by arranging pick up option.
Have made several purchases from the coin chest now both collectables and bullion. Their website is clear and updated to reflect transparent delivery estimates and premiums on Bullion Items. Love the ability to see what has arrived in the vault and what is on backorder when I click past orders. All parcels have been well packed and correct. Ben, Adam and Karina have been great to deal with and are now one of my go-to bullion and coin dealers. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
I order my coins and they arrived on time but only mistake done by courier he left outside unattended as it was clearly written signature required

Hi Tushant, thanks for the review and glad the parcel arrived on time and safely.
You selected our tracked (standard) shipping option, which we shipped via Team Global Express (TGE), which does not include Signature on Delivery (SOD). By default, we apply SOD to orders $750+ AUD within Australia.
We’ve also reviewed our dispatch footage and can confirm SOD was not requested/added for this order. However, a separate orange TGE label was attached (by us) that incorrectly indicated “signature required”, which may have caused confusion. We’ve corrected this on our end going forward.
If you require “never leave unattended”, please contact us before dispatch and we can arrange a signature-required service (or collection where available).
If it’s 1oz or 100oz, a piece of knowledge, a question answered, any piece u desire, TCC will answer your questions and find your items from across the world, that’s exactly how it’s been for me, numismatics and bullion one stop shop ,no need to go anywhere else

The Coin Chest are more than Reasonable & Fair with with their pricing. IF you find a cheaper price than them (G'luck trying..haha!) they'll match it or do one better - they'll beat it, if possible on their end. I haven't had a "No we can't" yet, though I have a funny feeling and believe I'm safe in saying that I doubt I ever will get a "No we can't...." from them. Haha!
Having the 'Vault' option so you can store & stock up your items to save on postage is great & extremely handy to save costs - or to spend more on Coin Chest treasures..hehe!

I don't understand the 1-star rating. Anyone who has bought something abroad should know that retailers are required to declare both the contents and the value on the package! They also offer insurance for a small fee. Shipping + insurance to Germany is even cheaper than if I were to send a package to Belgium, which is right next door!

I ordered my coin. When the package arrived, the box was open and the coin was missing. On the outside of the package was the amount of the coin that was inside the package. How stupid can they be to put the value of the coin on the outside of the package. I notified the company, they said the coin wasn't insured, it was my loss. This is not a company to do business with. I do not recommend them.

1. Your order was correctly packed and shipped, which has been verified through our dispatch footage. Any issue with an open package occurred during transit and is the responsibility of the courier, not us.
2. You declined shipping insurance at checkout, meaning that any loss or damage during transit falls under the courier’s policies, not ours. Insurance is always an option for added protection, and we encourage customers to use it for high-value items.
3. The value on the package was required by law. International shipping regulations mandate that all shipments declare their contents and value for customs purposes. This is not something we have control over, and suggesting otherwise is misleading.
Additionally, via email, you explicitly stated that you would leave the “worst review possible” if we did not compensate you. Attempting to coerce a business into providing a refund or replacement outside of policy through negative reviews is not a fair or ethical practice. Reviews should reflect an honest experience, not be used as leverage.
While we understand your frustration, attempting to hold our business accountable for courier issues or for a personal decision not to insure your shipment is unreasonable. We always recommend shipping insurance for high-value items to protect against issues beyond our control.
