I was very nervous to have wax removal done due to a previous experience under the NHS.
Jo was so professional , caring, skillful, reassuring at every stage . She made a thorough check before she started of my health and then explained the procedure . There was no feeling of being rushed at all.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Jo and will certainly visit again when needed .

Diveen was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. This was a process I needed a long time ago but admittedly felt very nervous about it. Until I met Diveen nobody seemed to give me the right advice which caused to my situation getting worse before Diveen fixed it.

On my first visit Diveen gave me some useful advice on how to properly look after my ears after the doctors had advised me to use products which in fact did more damage rather than good! She explained the product recommended by my doctors makes wax sticky and therefore harder to remove. We discussed a plan going forwards, reassuring that our next visit may be more successful. I kept up our planned routine until I saw her over a month later.

She was right! I kept using the recommended product and the wax had loosened enough for it all to be removed. Only a tiny amount could not be removed due to it being somewhere dangerous which could do more harm to remove than good. My hearing has felt a lot better since having this procedure, I also have not experienced my symptoms I was having before our first appointment.

Throughout the process Diveen was very informative and reassuring. I felt so embarrassed with the amount of wax she removed but we both celebrated my recovered hearing together which was lovely. I cannot thank Diveen enough, I know if ever I had to visit Diveen again I will be in safe hands. I plan to keep ontop of our routine we advised and have healthy, happy ears going forwards.

Had an appointment today with Diveen Dhinju. Great audiologist and made it clear she cares about the job and about her patients. Didn’t just rush me out the door quickly to move on to the next person waiting like you find at other places :)

I saw Iran Zaman. Very professional and explained everything clearly. I was pleased that there was no hard sell. My tests showed no immediate issues but problems persist so they are referring to ear nose and throat at the hospital- I’m happy that they have agreed to refer

My first experience with an audiologist- Jamie explained each procedure carefully. I had my ears cleared of wax & saw on a screen the problem, & then given advice on how to deal with my waxy ears.

This was followed by a ear test, again everything was explained well & I was given the opportunity to ask any questions. At the end of the test I was given a very detailed explanation of my hearing abilities.
I was happy with the whole experience & I will be contacted again in May.

Iram Zaman, the consultant was excellent - friendly, approachable and informative. She explained every procedure and prepared me for the sensations I would be experiencing. I have had a blockage in my right ear for several weeks and my hearing has obviously been affected. Iram showed me the pictures of the inside of both my ears so I could understand exactly what the problem was. After the syringing, which was totally painless, the improvement in my ear and hearing was immediate. I had a thorough hearing test and I am aware where my hearing is on 'the normality scale'! I shall continue to have regular hearing tests in the same way my eyes are tested.
