Absolutely HORRIBLE company. They will take your money and LOCK YOU OUT and make you reregister and pay again. DO NOT sign up with these crooks. Absolute scam.

AVOID! This Defensive Driving Course is terrible, the interface is not great, and their questions set up for security is awful.

For the video sections, you must watch through half an hour worth, then answer a question at the end that may not be relevant to the topic at all! Just some random specific question like "what was the color of the curtains". If you miss it, you must repeat the section and watched the entire half hour again....no skipping ahead. Very frustrating.

The biggest issue though comes to the security authorization questions. If you don't click to log out, or just continuing through the course, you get secturity questions.....if you miss those questions too many times....you are locked out of the course. YOU MUST RE-PURCHASE AND RESTART THE COURSE! What a money grab. I missed my last question of "what type of vehicle do you own". During setup, I didn't think much of this. Well, you can only pick 1 option of theirs and most families own more than 1 type of vehicle. I missed it and to continue the course.....I CAN'T. I must purchase again and start over.

What's even more misleading is their website. They claim to have tons of great reviews....but I don't have an option or way to review them. I don't believe they give that option to people who get screwed over by them.

When I asked customer support how I can review the company, they sent me to Florida Driving School . com. This company is not a Texas company and not out to help Texas drivers.

This program is abhorrent. My daughter didn't read the security questions which popped up during a lesson fast enough so it locked her out. It said for 9.99 I could unlock it. One of the customer service reps unlocked it for free. It happened a second time and they said it's against their policy, there is no way they can unlock it unless we pay another 75 and redo the whole program. I explained my daughter has dyslexia and couldn't read the security question fast enough and I verified my account four times. They are discriminating against her and are false. They say they can't unlock it but the did unlock it two weeks ago. Keep in mind when you buy the program the kiddos only have 30 days to finish the whole thing, learners permit included. I paid for two extensions, so a total of $115 and now they want another $75.

Terrible! My son completed 15 or so hours and was prompted to enter his security questions. He got a few wrong and they locked his account, said he would have to re-purchase the program and start over from the beginning! All his time and effort is completely wasted. I wish I would have seen these reviews before purchasing, but the site looked legit and I fell for it. My son also said he passed one of the quizzes but it kept telling him he failed. I called customer service and they were not helpful at all.

After finishing a module, my son incorrectly answered the security questions. Consequently, he lost the 20 hours of progress he had made and had to start over from the beginning.

This business's practices are unacceptable, and I'm shocked the state permits them to operate, especially when their services involve children.

Texas Driving school is a scam. They put in verification questions that does not apply to what you entered. I took a screenshot of my verification questions and answers. And during the process of my course, I noticed different questions. And subsequently, they blocked my account due to failed un successful attempts. And the agents are the most rude and crooked humans you can ever experience.

Not so bad and not so expensive. Our son took their course on parent driver ed and it definitely helped him learn driving faster, which saved us time teaching him.

Literally the worst. The website and content are average. But the major problem is that they "changed platforms" and it took repeated requests to get a new login. And then my child lost ALL of their progress and customer service just said that they need to redo all the courses that they completed.

This is seriously the worst program ever. Please for the love of God do not use this company. It's so confusing, unclear and poorly done. I don't have the emotional energy to go into all the details but they are *this* close to being a scam.

We purchased a Parent-Taught Drivers Education course. It worked well for a while, until they changed the software platform and we got notices that we had to finish the course or our progress would be lost. The original course stated that there was no expiration, and there was no way to fully complete the course before the platform switch. When we reached out to customer service about keeping our progress, the representative stated that we could maintain our progress on the new platform. This was not the case, and when I reached out again, a new representative said there was no way to regain the progress. The two stars are only for the good experience we had in the beginning.

After completing the course, the certificate will never arrive via mail. Reached out to them to provide an alternative address and waited for weeks and still won’t arrive. They will later send you the certificate via email but it is protected, meaning I need a password in order to sign it. You can reach out to customer service but they won’t have the password or a solution whatsoever so they’ll disconnect the chat. Horrible service.

I took the course online because the course fee seemed attractive. $25.00 plus $3.00 fees. Certificate of completion takes from Two to Tree weeks for delivery. The school does not ensure its delivery, they blame the USPS for some misplaced certificates. They lead you to order it on line. They overcharged me $39.95 for my certificate, plus $28,00 for the course. That is plain fraud. I DO NOT recommend this school to anyone.

I would not recommend this online drivers Ed school if you are a teenaged boy. The use a voice recognition thing before you can log on. Well teenage boys voices are always changing. My son attempted to log in numerous time but it would not let him. Talked to the school and they said that he had been locked out of the course because of trying to log in. He has to start the whole course over after he has already finished over 25 hours.🤦‍♀️
