Shoumit Sir is very good tutor,soft spoken.He takes careful measures helping my daughter to grasp the concept in Math,Science& English.I am very satisfied with his teaching.

Shoumit sir has been teaching both my daughters for more than 3 years. He teaches both Maths and Science subjects. Sir is extremely patient and he imbibes confidence in the children. He is very religious in teaching the subjects takes pride in his students' achievements. I have recommended his tutoring to others as well and they love his teaching too. I am very glad that we found him at the right time and my daughters have been better in their subjects ever since.

This site is a scam. Their own staff pretend to be "students" who post tutoring needs and bait tutors to buy coins to be able to communicate to these "students". There are no students in need of help, only staff who make money out of the system. I lost 200 GBP as I was looking for a job as a tutor. Potential 'students' are factionary. AVOID AT ALL COST

Mr Shoumit is a great teacher. My daughter has shown significant progress after she has started the coaching from him. I highly recommend Mr Shoumit for coaching Maths and Science.

I would like to share my experience with music teacher, Mrs. Susmita Mukhopadhayay. I attended my first class with her.
My observation is that those who really wants to LEARN & MASTER the art of music should go to her.
She could lead one to perfection. For this you will have to show dedication and perseverance. Those who want quick fame, she is not suitable for them. I would like to continue my classes with her putting it on top priority.

I'm writing the following as a tutor (not a student). I have been using TeacherOn for 13 months, within it often daily.

Although you may feel that information published on the complex rules of how the site works is the bare minimum (and so is the site's appearance...), and they charge you just a bit less than what would make you leave them 😝, the guys behind TeacherOn have built a system that is *usable* as an active (i.e. hundreds of tutor requests daily) global tutoring platform for school subjects. This can save you enormous resources if you are and independent tutor and prefer not to build your own online appearance (website, social media presence, newsletter etc.)

I confirm that their payment process works, although it indeed takes about a month for the money to reach the tutor, and the only working option in my region to receive it is PayPal. But you can agree on any other payment conditions with your student, you are not forced to use their system for payment, it just provides an extra layer of security between you and the student (TeacherOn reserves the money in advance, and pays it out after both of you confirm that the lesson took place).

That slowness of payouts and the plainness of the website are the only reasons I didn't give 5 stars.

However, you should read and consider Abel G's (Oct 3, 2023, "This site is a scam") and Proffesor Levis' (Jul 21, 2022, "I am tutor and has been trying to look…") review below - there are indeed a lot of students/parents who never reply to contacting them (for which you pay), and unfortunately, that possibility of fraudulent behaviour of the company (that these non-respondents aren't actual students/parents) is not excluded, although I haven't seen clear evidence of it yet.

This site is scam I have paid few of times to get in touch with students but they didn't see my messages if any student contacted me they didn't even answer my message .
