First time in Tenerife. Puerta de la Cruz is a lovely town and the quaint hotel (I loved it) is very central. The hikes were good with some exceptional scenery and out guide juggled the days to ensure that we got the better weather for the hikes. The hikers were a great and diverse bunch. I can't find any fault to be honest.

TD Active holiday to Vietnam was great with lots of variety.
I would like to suggest giving people the option to print out a bag label with Travel Department logo so they can display on their handluggage if they wish and be identified by other Travel Department passengers which solo travellers might find reassuring.

Well organised, great hotel locations,excellent guides and great travel companions made this an excellent experience.

I did two hiking trips with TD active this year, Croatia in May and Madeira in November. Generally, these trips tend to appeal to an older age range (on average).

Croatia was nice. The hiking was relatively easy and the group (moderate size) was organised into different levels to accommodate all levels of hiking experience. The trip also has some touristy experiences which were nice to experience. The hotels were lovely: however, it was confusing and not explicitly clear at check-in that dinner was available EACH night and not just the first (as many people on the trip thought and ended up missing out on the half board arrangement by confusing the lunch as the half-board meal!). Additionally, many people in the group missed the welcome drink on the first day because of this poor communication.

Madeira was a fantastic hiking experience. Anyone who is a lover of hiking should go to Madeira. It is a stunning location. The hikes were varied, and diverse, and we got to experience all regions of the island. The hotel was lovely (location and facilities) and the food was excellent. The group was large (35+ people) and mainly made up of a hiking club from Dublin. The pace of the hikes was quite slow, mainly for safety concerns and management of such a big group. A smaller group would have been nicer, and maybe facilitating hiking clubs with their own specialised trip would be a better option for TD Active to consider.

My walking holiday in Tuscany was very well organised and the schedule was followed every day. Plenty time was given to enjoy the scenery and our guide made it more interesting by talking about the flora and fauna of the region. Free time could be spent in a lovely town.

The guide…Joan…was superb…read the crowd really well and was so knowledgable about everything. It was a busier holiday than I had anticipated but that was good…saw and experienced so much

A great Tour Guide and a lovely crowd to be with. Accommodation was spot on and the places we were brought to were amazing. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys an active sight seeing holiday.

Had the trip of a lifetime in Sri Lanka with TD Active. An absolutely amazing country with so much to see and do. The itinerary was full on but wouldn't change a thing as we got to experience so much,so many highlights!! The hotels were mostly great, food was delicious, the people are so lovely. Our guide Thusitha was really knowledgeable and passionate about his country & took great care of us and tried to fulfill every request big or small. I absolutely loved Sri Lanka & highly recommend visiting. Travelled Solo and met a great group of like minded people who greatly added to my experience....Highly recommend travelling with TD Active.

Overall, it was a great experience and didn't have to worry about anything from Transport to the hotel.I enjoyed lovely walks on the trip to Madeira.

I went on their Transylvanian walking holiday and, simply put, it was excellent. The hotels exceeded expectations, the daily excursions were beautiful and a special mention should go to our guides Raz and Radu as well as our driver Marian all of whom really went out of their way to make the trip memorable, all were friendly, gracious and showed immense pride in where they were from.

The only fault in this holiday is that I would have liked more time to explore Brasov at my leisure, it really was a beautiful town. As for the hikes, they were all challenging yet doable. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in Transylvania. Everything was very well organised by TD Active (Maybe ditch the 3 hour transfer after late flight though) . Both Brasov and Bucharest were great. (Novotel in Bucharest very good but breakfast in Brasov was just ok).
The walks were most enjoyable with a variety of terrain and challenges (probably low moderate rather than leisurely).
What made the trip memorable was the lovely company in our group of 17 and our amazing guides Raz and Radu and driver Marian .
Our guides were passionate about their country and their environment and we learned so much . They went out of their way to make our holiday the best it could be.

Superb walking trip to Hungary - all travel, transport and accommodation details taken care of in a very professional way. Top class accommodation, friendly informed guides and seamless transport options- TD staff so helpful

I honestly have no complaints at all. TD active holidays seem to fulfill all their promises and tick all the boxes. In particular the Alcadamia Hotel in Lanjaron was perfect. The guides were also fantastic. This was my second time travelling with TD active and again they did not disappoint.

This was my third trip to Romania with TDCactive and I have really enjoyed each one the guide's have been amazing especially Razvan Veris who on each trip has gone out of his way to try and see that everyone is happy 😊😁. The Casa Wagner hotel is perfect really central and the staff are great as are the staff in the Capitol hotel in Bucharest which is again centrally located beside the old town which is like our temple bar without been a toilet it has a great feeling with whole families children and all out strolling and people enjoying themselves having a meal. The only downside side to the trip was that TDactive had it down as a leisurely walking holiday which it's not really a leisurely walking holiday, several of the other guests said the same. But on the other hand Romania always makes up for it especially because the place is so clean no paper's or rubbish on the streets plenty of seats to sit down on, the food is great so are the people. Just to show how great Romania is I've already booked for another trip in October and one in December, can't wait to see what TDactive has planned for next year in Romania. 😁

Great holiday, explore Vietnam! Very well organised. Great itinerary. Guides were fantastic. Food was great, hood mix of nice restaurant with local food, and local experience. Good value, hotels all really good. Would have liked to be able to check in myself online and book my seat, rather than wait until arrival in airport.

Perfect experience with excellent tour guides. From start to finish had a wonderful experience seeing places that we would never have seen .

That holiday exceeded my expectations.
It was a fascinating and enjoyable experience, largely due to our excellent guide, Mhamed Majhoudi.
Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, always cheerful, patient, attentive and enthusiastic about his country, but he anticipated all our individual needs, offered advice when necessary and looked after us all wonderfully.
He was always 'there' in a very comfortable way.
We travelled almost 2000 kms. in a comfortable mini bus....up to Rabat, over to Fez, down to the sand dunes (and a camel ride ...not very comfortable after an hour) then down to the high Atlas mountains, with many other interesting stops and local guides,on the way.
The distances between places of interest in Morocco are huge, so some of the bus journeys were very long, ...but worth it,
It was a memorable trip, if exhausting at times!

The itinerary was good.
The guide was good.
The people on the trip all got on together and had a great time.
