Company does illegal things
This company tries to deny their responsibility denying the warranty, and try to place the blame on you. Even when no external damage is to be found, they will still insist and try to blame you on a supposed "hit" that NEVER HAPPENED.

TV Faulty, however, Customer Service Great
My new TV developed a fault. TCL tried to fix it over the internet but were not able to so agreed instantly to refund me and collect the TV. They even said I did not have to have a replacement and offered a full refund, the choice was mine. All in all excellent service.

I have bought a 9kg Tcl washing machine…
I have bought a 9kg Tcl washing machine I have done about 7 washes in it the washing comes out wet on a 1400 spin.I tried a mixed load that can only be set at 1000spin so when it had finished I then put it on a 1400 spin the washing was still wet.I have contacted the Tcl service department they have said they don't intend to send anyone out to look at this new machine they said this is ok and that all machines spin differently at 1400.I have had washing machines that only have a 900 spin and the washing comes out much dryer.Please don't waste your money on a Tcl washing machine I wish I hadn't
Terrible eARC/HDMI Reliability & Warranty Process
I bought a TCL TV for its HDMI eARC features, expecting seamless external audio. Instead, the ARC/eARC connection fails daily, requiring power cycles to reconnect my Sony and Denon soundbars. Despite a warranty repair visit, TCL blamed “third-party compatibility” even though the fault persists with two different leading brands, making the TV virtually unusable with external audio devices.
Customer support was unhelpful and dismissive, refusing a replacement or refund. They insisted I contact the retailer instead, ignoring UK consumer law that requires products be fit for purpose. Repeatedly, they denied responsibility—even after an engineer confirmed the fault.
Since replacing the TCL with an LG TV, both soundbars work flawlessly without any daily intervention. This clearly proves the fault was with the TCL, not my other equipment.
Avoid TCL if you value reliability or need real after-sales support. I regret ever buying their products and will not purchase again. Choose a brand that actually stands behind their warranty and delivers on advertised features.

My American style double door TCL fridge is unbearably noisy! I'm currently in the next room and I can barely hear my radio! How can a fridge be this noisy, is this even possible!

Update to my original review. I purchased the TCL 50-inch 50C805K Mini-LED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV on 22nd September 2024.
It now has a fixed bright red pixel smack bang in the middle of the screen (based on its size and prominence, it could even be a cluster). TCL is not interested, as they say. Their policy is based on industry standard practices, allowing 16 dead pixels before they classify it as a pixel fault.
This is shocking as the pixel is right in the middle of the screen and annoying. I mainly use my TV for console casual gaming so it stands out most of the time.
Warranty and after-sales care are useless.
I will be investigating this further with Trading Standards because, as far as I am concerned, this TV is no longer fit for purpose as I want to be able to enjoy viewing my TV without any distracting red pixel(s).
Of course, I will also discuss this matter with the retailer who sent me to TCL for support.
I was impressed with the TV when I first bought it, but a dead pixel in 8 months is not good. I no longer recommend TCL.
Much better than I expected
Review for 55" QLED Mini LED C805 4K Ultra HD Android Smart HDR TV
I am delighted with this TV for the price. It was fairly easy to set up, the picture quality is excellent, ideal for our bright living room. Sound quality is also good but some may wish to add a sound bar. I originally added a Hisense TV at £649 to my Amazon wish list and when I returned to purchase, the price had risen to £799. Amazon did me a big favour as this TV is every bit as good for a much lower price. Other reviews mentioned lack of UK on demand apps but that is not the case. Once I signed in to Google, I was asked if I wanted to install Google Store apps already on my other Android devices. It transferred everything except the BBC iPlayer. However a few minutes later, the TV installed a system update and once completed, BBC iPlayer was there. The TV has plenty of Ram and storage space, so my Android TV Box will only be used for downloads. Only con is the user manual is flimsy compared to the 91 page glossy manual which came with my previous TV. Also registering the warranty is a bit cumbersome as they ask for screenshots of the invoice and serial number.
I see the price on Amazon has been reduced further so this is an excellent TV for the price.

Cannot organise programs eg: channel No. 802 to channel No. 1. called TCL support and they are totally devoid of any knowledge. they expect me to repair the faults for them. they do not understand after going through the numerous instructions they have given me that there is no program organiser on the TV. and are trying to avoid the warranty. all I can say is avoid buying TCL at all costs.
Expect zero after sales support
TV was delivered to me damaged so I had a replacement through the retailer which later developed problems with the screen panel pealing off. I reported it to TCL this time as I was outside of 30 days. TCL were no help, after a lengthy back and forth they agreed to send Equinox (their repair centre) enginer to confirm whether I damaged the TV, the enginer said the TV issue seems manufacturing problem and is covered under the warranty so they picked up the TV for repairs. Two weeks later they returned my TV unrepaired saying they found internal damage (in absence of external) with the chassis. They blamed me and not the build quality on the TV. What a waste of my time. They treated me like I did the damage and was trying to get it repaired. I will now go speak with my credit card company and try to claim there. Expect zero after sales support. Will never buy from TCL again.
Great Value and Service
75C645K TV - Great TV for the money, I currently use with an Xbox and cannot fault the experience. A TCL soundbar came also at a discounted price, very happy with the combo.
TCL customer service have also been very responsive and helpful, would recommend buying from TCL.

I bought a TCL American style Fridge freezer from Mark's Electricals in June 2024. I have had nothing but problems from being covered in frost and not working properly. Lost loads of food due constant malfunctions. Had four different warranty companies to try and sort the problems and still on going. It's not been working properly since Christmas.
TCL customer service is appauling, do not give a toss about good honest customers. Please do not buy from them unless you like loads of hassle.
