I can’t recommend Humayun Baig at Taylor’s Legal highly enough. As a first-time buyer, I went into the process with a mix of excitement and mild panic; but Humayun made the entire experience feel calm, clear and completely manageable.

He was consistently helpful, communicative and incredibly patient, taking the time to explain each step in plain English and making sure I understood what was happening and why. No question ever felt like a silly one, and he was always quick to respond and keep things moving.

The whole conveyancing process was impressively quick and straightforward, which I know isn’t something you can say lightly when it comes to buying a house. Humayun was proactive throughout and clearly on top of every detail.

The standout moment? He completed the exchange of contracts while I was on a ski chairlift on holiday. That pretty much sums up the level of dedication and efficiency: seamless, responsive and unfazed by logistics.

We used Taylors Legal for our property purchase and were looked after by Safaa Noray. She was always pleasant to deal with and kept us updated throughout the process, which made everything feel straightforward and well‑managed.

There were a couple of moments where we felt we were repeating paperwork, but as we weren’t under time pressure it wasn’t a major issue.

The only real area for improvement is the clarity around fees. Even after exchange (and before completion), I’m still not entirely sure what the final cost will be. The pricing structure is quite complicated for someone who isn’t familiar with legal terminology, so a clearer breakdown would really help.

Overall, friendly and professional service — though with the amount of forms involved, I’m starting to think the real house move was happening in the filing cabinet.

The good reviews cannot be trusted. They are very expensive and very bad. No communication no explanation, it takes at least 1 week to respond to an email. Very bad please keep away from them. I will elaborate when I’m done with them .

The buyer had chosen a large, impersonal call centre-style solicitor, whose disorganisation and lack of communication caused countless unnecessary delays and frustrations. Communication has consistently been poor, and we were given incorrect information on multiple occasions. Our Conveyancing case has been mishandled from the start, and interactions with the team have lacked the level of professionalism and customer care we expected.

I can't give ZERO stars unfortunately. This bunch of amateurs are simply the worst group of folks I have had the displeasure of dealing with.
Took them on to handle the conveyancing of a new build. They happily take your money, and they do provide "shadow" services, which basically means YOU have to do all the calling and enquiring. They DO NOT interact with you, the paying customer, at all.
If you are buying a house, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. All they do is follow some off-the-shelf process, get you some documents, offer NO ADVICE, no communication, just electronic forms to sign. YOU HAVE TO DO ALL READING AND COMPREHENSION OF THE TERMS AND BULLSH*T out of all the documents you get, only to discover some stupid clause or another that only protects the seller but totally screws you, the buyer, over.
And of course, Taylors won't have brought any of this to your attention, because they are complete muppets!!!!

I can’t recommend this firm highly enough for anyone seeking conveyancing services. From the very start, Bhavish was an absolute standout.
