Excellent service from Michael. Ordered Kilt Hose on Wednesday, arrived Friday. Can't say enough good things about this business. Highly recommend.

Tartan and Tweed's service was impeccable! Mike, Lynn and Pauline were friendly, helpful and really easy to deal with. When I initially went to the shop to request the hire for my wife's niece's wedding they painstakingly taught me how to put on the kilt and accessories, and Pauline followed up with a revision session when I picked up the costume, so I had no problems at all! Next time I need a kilt I would not hesitate to use them again.

What a find ! My wife wanted a new Harris Tweed mini backpack and we came across this company. Found the perfect item which was delivered very quickly in perfect order, and at an astonishing price compared to all other competitors. I've since ordered another as a gift.
The selection of Scottish items is excellent, and stunning. I would love to have bought a kilt outfit, but with my Welsh heritage, it's probably not a good idea.....!

Firstly I would absolutely recommend Tartan Plus Tweed if you are looking for kilts, accessories, any outfits involving tartan! Even a cuddley toy if you wanted.

I bought the majority of my outfit for my upcoming wedding there and they were very knowledgable about what I needed, options to keep the cost down and other places I could try if they couldn't help. The non-pushy way of executing sales was very welcome as I have had the pushy sales from other shops and ended up leaving.

The outfit was made quickly and they kept me up to date on what was happening, along with asking questions about the various options I wanted.

The entire outfit fits perfectly and is very comfortable. It also feels and looks very high-quality.

I heard of Tartan Plus Tweed through my brother who lives in Galashiels. When I told him that I was looking for a new kilt plus jacket and waistcoat. So I phoned first and spoke to Mike, who told me the time it would take and the price. I looked at a few other companies but decided on Tartan Plus Tweed. Must say that I was looked after very well by the two lady assistants that where in the shop. Decided that I would order my jacket and waistcoat once my kilt was made, to decide the colour. Bought a new kilt pin, tie and hose and also received a foldable highland dress carrier. Can I say that my experience of buying my new Highland Dress Outfit was a pleasant one and have no qualms about recommending this company Tartan Plus Tweed to everyone.

I rented a Prince Charlie Kilt outfit to wear at my 40th wedding Anniversary dinner. Mike and his partner could not have been more helpful throughout the whole process. They even let me keep the outfit for an extra day so I could get some outdoor pictures taken at Abbotsford where my family were staying in the Hope-Scott wing.
