They tried to blame the shipper but it was obviously broken before shipping happened.
They agreed to reimburse me after providing proof. It cost me $35 to ship it back and today, 1 month later, I receive the item back as they didn’t accept the shipment.

Stay away from this company. I ordered an expensive towel bar and they sent me a cheap knock off from a company on Amazon. Plus, they didn't specify any shipping costs and when they were ready to ship, they tried to bribe me with free shipping of $29.95 if I give them a 5 star review. That alone made me very suspicious. I paid the shipping fee. After many emails back and forth, I even returned the wrong towel bar to them at my cost and they never acknowledged receipt. Thank God, my CC company reimbursed me after calling this in as a fraudulent transaction.

buyer beware. All sales are final and, contrary to the Consumer Protection Act, you will only be told shipping costs after you have bought the item. Before you order an item, it says, "We'll notify you of any shipping costs before processing your order shipment." That misled me to think they would tell me shipping costs before they processed my order.
Because their site said, GET FAST DELIVERY. 1-3 DAYS FOR STOCK ITEMS, even though the item was more expensive than Home Depot, I ordered it. Now their site says, "Get fast shipping & delivery". Also, since I ordered the item, they have updated their product page to "USUALLY" ship within 1-5 business days.
I thought my order was a stock item because of the green STOCK label on the product page. Although they have changed the product page that I ordered so that when you click on the item description heading, it gives all the information about special order and final sale, this information is not on their other product pages.
Unless an item is in stock, their delivery is slow. Order placed on July 22. When I asked to cancel the order on July 30, I was told it was being prepared for shipment from their warehouse. On August 1, after I threatened to file a dispute claim on my credit card, I was given free shipping. On August 6, I was told it had been shipped the week before from the Maxx warehouse. I received the item on August 19. I ordered the same item from Home Depot on July 30 and received it on August 8.

I prefer no star. I ordered a soap dispenser on November 15, 25. When I received the delivery on January 7, 26, the product was in wrong colour. I contacted them for the exchange, they ignored me. I believe that I shall lose $99 in this purchase. So disappointed.
Horrible company
Horrible company! Scam artists, state item ships in 7-21 days. It’s over 35 days and no sign of my product. I asked for refund and got the “we don’t allow ANY refunds.” Do NOT ever order from this company.
I ordered faucet needed PayPal’s help
I ordered a bathroom faucet from Taps Depot LTD. On October 20th sent email saying order being processed, on October 21 I was sent an email saying the order was ready to be delivered once shipping invoice is paid your order will be shipped automatically and you’ll receive a tracking number. I paid shipping on October 25. *All through PayPal. November 3rd I sent a follow-up email asking for information regarding delivery. Received a canned reply thanking me for the email and that a rep will respond in 1-2 business days. No reply followed.
November 10 I called gave the gentlemen my order number and he put me on hold. Then said the package had been misplaced in the warehouse. He said he was going to take care of it himself. The following week having not received tracking number I called again. They said they checked the box and ordered a missing part from the manufacturer. I said I would have liked a heads up but that I appreciated the professionalism. I called back on November 25th, this time they said they had not received the faucet.(WHAT?!)When I told him they had said they were missing just a part he “oh yes,yes,yes…that.”
I finally lost my patients on December 9th when I called requesting a tracking number for the package. I said I would like either a tracking number for the package or a refund. He asked me to open his website and read the description under the product which gives shipping information. And I said thats fine but you sent me an email over a month ago saying you were ready to ship and I have been contacting you weekly where the story keeps shifting. Long story I contacted PayPal requesting a refund. I uploaded the emails. He contested and called me which made me laugh because it was the first time! December 19 he sent a tracking number to PayPal. I received a package with amazon labeling and broken pieces of some sorta foam inside. I took pictures and sent it to PayPal. I received my refund. Buyer beware, save and document all communications, use 3rd party payment methods to protect yourself. I will not be ordering from them again.

Great experience at Taps Depot. Super helpful staff and really good quality products. They took the time to explain everything and didn’t rush me at all. Definitely coming back.

Should be 0 stars. This company is a scam. They take payment, in my case $600 more then agreed that they will “credit you after delivery” then provide countless excuses why the product is delayed, then you need to pay more for delivery, then it’s delayed because they moved warehouses. They take payment and then try to run out the clock for making a claim against them. Total scam.

I have been played along for almost a year on an order that should have taken about 6 to 8 weeks to obtain. "Sam" will answer your call and promise to "check with his boss", ask you to call back in week, put you on hold indefinitely to that infernal Christmas music. Multiple emails are unanswered.
Although I realize I've been scammed to the tune of $170, I am approaching VISA to see if this can in be reversed due to this business clearly having no intention to deliver this item to me, and will also be reporting this site to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre in the hopes that others will not fall for this fraudulent business.
Please do NOT order anything from this business, and spread the word if you can!
No Item Received or Refund Received After 6 Months
Stay away from this company. They take your money and do not deliver any product. Lots of excuses.
Ordered an in-stock Delta towel bar in May 2025 and as at mid-November 2025 have not received the product or a refund.
Followed-up via email 4 times with Taps and received a different excuse each time. Like other reviewers, they advised no refund as it is a custom order, even though is standard in the catalogue. Have not received any reply to my last follow-up start of November.
Submitted a credit card fraud to my bank and a case to the Canada anti-fraud department. Responses pending from both.
Unethical vendor
The part I ordered appears to be a knockoff and it took several weeks longer to arrive than advertised. They also overcharged sales tax and were unwilling to refund the error. Credit card companies won't do much to help so avoid this vendor like the plague.

Bizarre. Ordered, and received confirmations as well as a note that my faucet was ready for pickup, but then nothing. I've called countless times and listened to that Christmas music mentioned in another post. So infuriating for the $$ and the delays on my Reno. I will be launching a dispute.
