Right from booking the race everything was excellent. Booking was straight forward, the emails keeping you informed are second to none, you cannot fault the communication and updates from the team, the pre race information giving you information regarding on the day was spot on, gave you everything you can possibly think of to make sure your day goes perfect. The parking deals they had struck up for runners so meant you didn't have to pay was excellent. The race itself as a fab one, the right number of water stations (3) for a hot Sunday morning was perfect, the support at the start, on the route and at the finish was amazing. The finish in the park is fantastic, was such a party atmosphere, haven't done a race before where so many people stayed after the race, but Tape2tape have nailed this with all the different food and drink venues available keeping everyone together. Plus various stalls to by running goodies is fab. When can I sign up for next year. 1969

Ran the Grimsby 10km. This event is so well organised from start to finish. Plenty of marshals along the route, they are all
so friendly and supportive. Plenty of drinks stations. One of the best events I have been to. My 3rd time attending and I will definitely be signing up for next years!!

Incredible experience from sign up to after the finish line and beyond! First 10km race and absolutely loved it! The planning that has gone into this was evident throughout. Cannot wait to do more!

This was my first event run. I am certainly o expert and just wanted to do this for myself.

I can not fault all the information, the reminds and plenty of communication. I had no problems finding what I needed to do or need to be.

I am definitely from the slower end of the scale of people involved and that was never an issue, I felt no worries that I was to slow or not well looked after today

First of all the access to the race village was spot on. The race village itself was brimming with atmosphere and vibes. Very organised and extremely friendly towards all running levels. I think tape 2 tape races are brilliant value anyway. The Marshall structure was supportive and brilliant along with water station and jelly babies. The finish on the sports track was also unique 👌 so I'll be booking this again next year 👌

Great race company. I've run a few Tape2Tape events now, and they're always really well organised, well supported, and have a great atmosphere. The volunteers are brilliant, there are regular aid stations and they always have a great medal/ tshirt and remain good value for money. Will definitely race with them again bib-1838

The pre-race communication was second to none. On the day, the support, facilities and the smiley, caring and encouraging volunteers were the icing on the cake of a great, fast course, and perfect conditions. It was so great to have closed roads, frequent water stops, managed by helpful volunteers, and to then finish around the athletics track. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the end too, with the entertaining commentary over the loudspeaker, the excellent facilities for runners (food and drink), after a hard earned medal and donuts - which were a first in my half marathon race experience, but which were just what I needed after 13.1 miles. Would totally recommend this race, and already have to many people and to my club mates. Hannah (1687)

Very well organised, I love the emails they send before and after, with real talk into just how much organisation and planning goes into these events! Always surrounded by the loveliest of people, and the piece of cake at the end is always a welcome treat! The pacers are always amazing, and the marshals are always so encouraging. Every part of these events, is amazing, will continue to attend these events whenever I can! Thank you guys! (2180)

Second time back running the race, having done the half marathon last year, great route and very well organised. I was promised better weather after last years winds and downpour, and they even managed to deliver on that front as well!

Tape2tape are fabulous race organisers, I have run several of their events and they have always been well organised and everyone has been friendly.

For the latest event in Scunthorpe I asked to change distances, I was provided with a clear and easy process via a quickly received and friendly email.

Me and my partner completed the North Lincolnshire Half Marathon (me) & 10k (partner) 2025. We will defiantly be doing it again!
Lovely day out! Amazing people working there and behind the scenes. Emails keeping us informed. Plenty of information. Marshalls to hand with any questions. Really good setup on race day. Race day event was awesome!
Perfect day with the best kind of people. Defiantly would highly recommended doing an event with them!

The race is great, route is great, parking was good, medal is super, water stations epic and doughnut was lovely after! The volunteers exceptional and will gladly return pending baggage changes - which is still an issue from previous years. Putting a tear off for bags on the bib number sheet is not unenvironmental as you’ll just make the main bib sheet smaller. I spent too long relabelling my bag as my label wasn’t good enough, so missed the start by nearly 2 minutes. I spent over 2 minutes sorting my bag out. You can tell what my main issue is. I also didn’t know where the bag drop off was, so that wasted further time. I think the volunteers there are exceptional and would happily see them again, but think you as race directors need to change your stance on bag tear offs and being clear where baggage drop off is to help the volunteers at the baggage area.

North Lincs Half is a course that gives you THE BEST chance of a PB. Fast, Flat and when the weather plays ball, a dream! Tape2tape host an excellent race, well organised, closed roads route, with an army of helpful volunteers. The event village means there is ample places for spectators to grab a hot drink whilst they wait for you to finish and there are more than enough portaloos to help with the pre race nerves. Something that I am sure all runners appreciate! If you want a PB, it has to be north lincs half, it has to be Tape2tape!

It was my first North Lincolnshire Half. But it truly was an amazingly well organised and enjoyable event, the half, and by association the 10k too
Leading up to the event, communication from the organisers was timely, informative and detailed, from parking to race day logistics, bag storage, route map, water station locations, etc.
The stadium as the base and finish line really lifts the event to that of a proper athletics meet. The atmosphere in the stadium is /was electric, especially at the end of the race, and the commentator / MC on the day was excellent too.
It must be without doubt a herculean task to organise an event of this magnitude, but to get it right on so many counts is truly awesome. It is obvious the organisers, Nicola and Neil are runners themselves. You and the tape2tape team should be deservedly proud.
