Will I ever get my claim?
I have been waiting for over seven weeks for my claim to be refunded and constantly hold that I just need to wait however, on their website, it states that they should settle claims within four weeks. Really disappointed and constantly being asked just to call back? Wasting more of my time and when I do call, I have to answer security checks for three different people it is ridiculous

No drama pet insurance
After a few months of stress with my cat who'd gone into heart failure and lots of appointments and scans. I was given a £3000 bill. Luckily enough I had Swinton pet insurance. I was worried about them not paying out due to issues with previous insurance companies and although they were late dealing with the claim. A quick call with their customer service agents sorted this and she said she'd put the claim as a priority. Within one day Swinton had paid my vet direct with no quibble or issue. Such a weight off my shoulders and exactly what pet insurance is all about. Really pleased with the service and I will be continuing with the policy for years to come.

Update to my review of 18 Dec. The pet insurance claim I submitted on 14 Nov has been settled today 29 Dec. So their promise to settle claims within 4 weeks in fact took over 6 weeks - and that was only after two ignored emails and an angry phone call. Oh yes, the renewal price due in January is almost double the last year's price. I don't think so! Back to that nice meerkat for a better pet insurance quote.

Bad customer service
A claim was made and Swinton did not pay out saying the vet had not sent the relevant information. A further claim 3 months later for a different problem couldn't be paid because the original claim had been left open. I have had to spend a lot of time on the phone just to get a claim form sent via e-mail because the online form couldn't be submitted due to the first claim being left open and they had no way of closing it. I so wish I had stayed with Argos Pet Insurance as their system was so much better!
After using Swinton's Live Chat I managed to submit my second claim on-line. I have not heard from them at all. If there is a problem with the claim you would think they would have the decency to e-mail with their reasons. Absolutely awful customer service!!!

Very clear that P……. From the media team does not like me posting adverse reviews.
Well I’m afraid that’s really tough!!!
She has requested I contact them via the link, well guess what I WON’T BE.
Why don’t they try contact me???
As a result I will continue to post very open and honest reviews until they resolve to my satisfaction!!
They need to really think about what they have done, stress and anxiety caused, then how to rectify this situation and resolve my complaint quickly.
But in truth, they have not tried and having to wait up to 8 weeks is ludicrous I’m sure you will agree.
Avoid them like the plague!
Also their partners in crime and sister company Marmalade.
Please use a reputable company you can trust.
