Bozburun, Turkey - unforgettable experience
I recently completed a SwimTrek holiday in Bozburun, Turkey, and it far exceeded my expectations. Swimming around 5 km each day was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The safety cover throughout the trip was excellent, giving everyone confidence to enjoy the experience fully.
The guides, Madi and Kevin, were professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and always attentive to the group's needs and abilities. Their support helped me push beyond what I thought I was capable of achieving.
What impressed me most was the stunning clarity of the Aegean Sea and its perfect swimming temperature. Every swim was a pleasure, with beautiful scenery and crystal-clear water making the experience unforgettable.
Not only did the trip exceed my expectations, but I exceeded my own expectations too. It's a fantastic adventure for anyone who enjoys open-water
swimming and wants to challenge themselves in a safe, supportive, and spectacular environment.

Well organized, beautiful destination, and nice group size. Loved that the guides and boat crew were very safety minded. This is very important, in my mind, especially when dealing with different water conditions.

Our Croatia SwimTrek holiday exceeded every expectation, and a huge part of that was down to our exceptional guides and skipper.
From the very first day, the guides Ant and Kim’s combined professionalism, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm created an unforgettable experience. Their knowledge of the local area, attention to safety, and ability to cater for different swimming abilities meant everyone felt confident, supported, and encouraged throughout the trip. Every swim was carefully planned, brilliantly briefed, and accompanied by fascinating insights into the stunning Croatian coastline and islands.
Our skipper was equally outstanding. Calm, skilled, and accommodating, he ensured everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes while always greeting us with a smile. The boat became a welcoming home between swims, and the local knowledge added an extra dimension to the adventure.
What truly set the team apart was their warmth and positivity. They created an atmosphere that was fun, inclusive, and relaxed, bringing together a group of strangers who quickly felt like friends. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their passion for what they do shone through every day.
The combination of spectacular swimming, breathtaking scenery, and such a dedicated, professional crew made this one of the best holidays we have ever taken. My SwimTrek vacation in Sardinia
My SwimTrek vacation in Sardinia, Italy was one of the most spectacular travel experiences of my life. Each day, our group swam approximately 7 kilometers through the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by Sardinia’s breathtaking coastline, hidden coves, and dramatic rock formations. The daily swims were both physically rewarding and visually stunning, offering a unique perspective of the island that few visitors ever experience. The warm sunshine, vibrant turquoise water, and sense of adventure made every swim unforgettable.
What truly elevated the trip was the exceptional support provided by the SwimTrek team. Our two guides (Aless & Sam) were knowledgeable, encouraging, and attentive, ensuring that every swimmer felt safe and confident while enjoying the challenge of the open water. Equally impressive was our boat captain (Luca), whose skill and professionalism allowed the group to focus entirely on the beauty of the experience. Together, they created an atmosphere of camaraderie, fun, and trust that made the journey even more special. By the end of my six (6) days, I had not only completed an incredible swimming adventure but also created memories that I will cherish for years to come.
