Couldn't be happier!
As a small, but fast growing small town ministry, we were looking for ways to better connect with our congregation and the community. The Subsplash platform helps us do that through all of the integration and tools that they make available. Their onboarding process, while intense, was especially helpful in getting us set up for success. We have seen greater interaction online, an increase in giving, and more interactions through social media. It also has given us the ability to produce high quality discipleship materials in a simple way through their Pulpit AI. We have just started using the check in feature through the events and keeping track of attendance is now also integrated into the system without an extra step on Monday morning. But of all the things that makes Subsplash worth every penny is having all of your ministry administration, giving, social media, events calendar, and web presence all in on place on one dashboard. No more jumping from this to that and needing to figure out how to have multiple websites or software programs integrate. That alone has saved us a ton of time and frustration. I would strongly recommend Subsplash to churches of every size, not just big, multi-staff, multi-site congregations on the cutting edge. But for sole pastor small congregations who are looking to simplify the difficult and sometimes overwhelming world of ministry in the digital age.
Church plant for co-vocational leadership team
We were in the process of planning a church. We wanted to be able to have all of our communication platforms and digital needs in one place. After research we came to the conclusion at sub splash would be the best thing for our needs. We met with their staff. We saw their presentation. Once we got ingrained in the process, it has become the absolute most easiest thing to navigate ministry. There are tons of ways to communicate. There is tons of automation. With anything you have to put the work on the front end but on the back end, it literally saves 10 to 15 hours of work For our leadership team.

I was experiencing an issue with our stream (my doing in the first place:), Subsplash AI support helped me get to the bottom of it, and found the solution. I was extremely grateful!
A Great, All-In-One Solution
My first experience with sub splash was utilizing them for our live stream. The moment I realized that organized our messages, was incredibly user-friendly, and just worked I was hooked.
We’ve then moved our giving, app, and website to SubSplash. They are regularly introducing new features and are easy to get a hold of if I ever have questions about our account or I have difficulty with something. I would strongly recommend them.
Subsplash has been a GAME CHANGER for…
Subsplash has been a GAME CHANGER for our church. We are a church of around 300+, and we made the change to Subsplash in 2022. Subsplash has made creating a website, app, and other forms of content simple and quick. This is what they have been known for. In the recent years, I have notived that they are always bringing in new content and improving what they have now. They have begun to make big changes with their management side. By using Subsplash giving we have saved money in fees, and it is a simpler way to give. Customer service has been incredible, and they will answer any question I have. If they can't answer it then, they will reach out with a follow up email. From our demo to when we signed up, they were upfront with the cost and fees. There is nothing that we are paying for that was not specified. Yes, there is a upfront cost that may not be suitable for smaller churches which is totally understandable, but if you are wanting everything under one umbrella give it go. It is not perfect, but the same can be said about other platforms. Subsplash has been great to us, and look forward to continue working with them.

I have used Subsplash for 15 years in several different church contexts. It is incredibly priced for everything it does, it simplifies engagement and they are always innovating instead of constantly acquiring. Grateful for them!

when our church was "SOLD" subsplash we were told we would have phone support etc. and they would "walk" us through the process. That is a LIE. After signing a contract we were told we only had 2 phone calls for support. Sad Sad SAd. We will NOT be using subsplash again and do NOT recommend you do either. They mislead you.
Do you want headaches?
Do you want headaches and troubles ? Get subsplash honestly is a good idea they just fail to deliver what they promised, really really bad
Misleading, Costly, and Poor Experience for Small Churches
We signed up with Subsplash after a very positive sales presentation. Everything sounded like the right fit for our church. Unfortunately, no proper assessment was done before signing us up, and we were not told upfront about the critical documents required.
After we began paying the $198.09 monthly fee, we were informed that our church documents needed to be updated before we could even get access to the app. This update process took us four months. During this time, Subsplash continued to bill us, even though we could not use their services.
Although they stopped billing for 2 months as their way of pacifying us, we were still billed again before we were able to provide the final documents. Each time we sent something, another requirement appeared that had never been explained in the beginning. This process was frustrating, costly, and showed very poor communication.
We were told we could work on our website while waiting for the app, but even that was delayed. We never got the actual product we needed, despite faithfully paying month after month. For a nonprofit church, this was a heavy burden, especially since I personally had to cover the costs.
When I asked for a full refund for the months we paid without using their service, they refused. Instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, Subsplash seemed more focused on collecting money than truly supporting a small church.
We eventually moved to another company and, within one week, our app was live and running — without 90% of the requirements Subsplash claimed we needed. Their monthly fee was also much lower and the service was far better.
Subsplash should:
Provide a clear checklist of requirements upfront before signing contracts.
Delay billing until churches are verified and ready to start.
Improve communication and take responsibility when their process causes delays. I eventually cancelled in July 31, 2025, because at that point we had started the "billing" part of the service from August 14, 2024, and so by this year July it would have been 12 months of engaging them, and multiple billings of $198.09 and no tangible results to show the church board.
I cannot recommend Subsplash, especially for small churches. We felt misled and financially strained, and I will caution every pastor I know about the way Subsplash conducts its business. I believe, in good conscience, that Subsplash should refund the money we paid and apologize for the poor communication and flawed process. We were billed for months without receiving the actual service we signed up for. Unfortunately, Subsplash made it clear in our conversations that no refund was possible under any circumstance — regardless of their delays or errors. This shows a lack of fairness and compassion, especially toward smaller churches and nonprofits who trust them with limited resources.
Buggy product and money-centered company
Subsplash has many defects that I reported and was given one excuse or another for why they don't get fixed. Dealing with them, you don't get the sense that it is a company that works with ministries. They are cut-throat money focused company.
Horrible Cancelation Process
Our experience with Subsplash has been incredibly frustrating and costly. We’ve spent weeks trying to cancel our subscription, but the process has been broken from the start. The cancellation links don’t work, the dashboard feels clunky, and communication is practically non-existent.
We’re a church trying to steward resources wisely, and this kind of experience is the opposite of what’s helpful. It’s wild that a company claiming to “support churches” is so difficult to reach and doesn’t offer a simple way to cancel a subscription. It’s inconvenient and disrespectful.
There are now better, cheaper, and far more efficient platforms out there. Services like Tithely, ChurchCenter, and even MailerLite + Planning Center integrations offer smoother interfaces, better customer support, and more flexible pricing for churches of all sizes. Subsplash is getting outmatched fast and unless they make serious changes, they’ll keep losing churches that want modern tools with responsive support.
If you're considering Subsplash, I’d strongly recommend exploring alternatives first. We made the mistake of sticking with them too long overpaying without doing our due diligence on other platforms.
We love Subsplash
We love Subsplash! We use their app, website, and giving features. The are constantly adding new features and tools and improving their services. Their support has been fantastic, I appreciate that you can schedule a service call rather than sitting on hold for hours like other providers. They have been a huge help recently to us as we switched over our website to their snap pages. Super easy to use and great support!
Subsplash is the best.
Subsplash is awesome. We started using them last month and have been blown away by how intuitive everything is and how well good their support team is (particularly with getting our church up and running with the software). We couldn't be happier!
5 Year Client Doubling Down on Subsplash
Our church has been a Subplash App client since 2019, and we recently switched to the whole Subsplash One package to move our website, giving, and other experiences to Subsplash because of how much we have loved the experience.
Switching to Subsplash Giving is saving us money, the customer support side has been excellent, and we're looking forward to working with Subsplash for a long time.
In a 'drag and drop' world....
In a 'drag and drop' world of website design, providers like Squarespace and Wix provide the ultimate in creativity and ease. Subsplash gets a 3 in the day-to-day design options that are more than a bit archaic.
In the church world, for an all-in-one solution with mobile app integration, it gets a 5. Incorporating an intuitive events calendar with ticketing and payments saves a ton of external accounts to handle all of these subtasks and integration worries. The media library is smart, and URL redirects are simple, among things we use every day. Account success managers have been top-notch and do everything they can to make sure your voice and concerns are heard and provide timely feedback and solutions.
Major frustrations are that there is no auto save, command z, extremely limited and bland text options, the use of 'spacers' vs drag/drop, picture sizing and manipulation is awkward at best, and finally the site/tablet/mobile editor is atrocious.
If you're a church, you will learn to deal with the inadequacies and find a medium you can live with in editing that will make it your go-to solution. If you manage other sites on other platforms, as mentioned earlier in this post, you will curse the lack of freedom, the added time to complete tasks, and, at times, the less-than-desired results due to platform capabilities.
Amazing Resource!
Subsplash is an amazing church resource! Easy to use platform that allows us to engage with our church digitally!

We use Subsplash for streaming to Youtube and our website, as well as distribution the audio only for our podcast weekly. Further, Subsplash archives our materials using a library format that is easy to manage and understand. Subsplash consistently works without incident and largely without intervention.
My card kept getting declined
My card kept getting declined, so I reached out to the support team, (chat doesn’t work) and told them my problem. They told me to ask the bank. I did and they said that the security code was reading 000 and not the right code. So I not only emailed the support team member back that told me to check my bank, but I also sent another report telling them and asking if they would look into it. No response. I waited 6 days and then sent another report in. Still no response. There is a glitch in their program and it seems they don’t care to fix it or even to respond to me when I tell them exactly what the problem is.
Debit card set up
I have tried multiple times to set up my good debit card that I use everyday, and subsplash declines my card. Something is wrong with your card acceptance app or something. Mainly, there is no customer service to help me. So I’m not impressed with subsplash.
