I paid a good bit of money to sit near the front and it was so worth it! Such talented cast and crew telling the Stranger Things prequel on stage. The show was immersive which I enjoyed very much. Would happily go see it again, 5/5 rating.

Quite simply incredible. Even if you’ve never watched the Netflix Series, it’s an engrossing standalone show that’s still easy to follow. And if you are a fan of the series, it’s a great backstory.

Blending horror and humour isn’t easy, but they pull it off with aplomb. And clever use of a revolving stage and the wider auditorium make it feel immersive.

Some purists might argue it’s over-reliant on (awesome) special effects. But when the script, choreography and acting talent are equally superb, it’s the perfect combination. And a particular shoutout to Louis McCartney (Henry Creel) who, for a twenty year old with no prior stage experience, is simply outstanding.

We paid full price for the best seats. Given the duration, complexity and quality of the show, it’s the first time we’ve actually sat there and said, “perfectly happy to have paid that price. That was value for money” (which can’t be said for the theatre bar, which is an utter ripoff!)

I hope this show has a successful run of many, many years. And we will certainly be back to see it again!

It was fantastic all round! The cast were brilliant, and resembled the cast from the Netflix show. The storyline was exciting and lead onto the Netflix show really well! The staging, lighting and props were fantastic. We were sat two rows back from the front so we managed to see everything in so much detail. Would defo go and see again. If you like the Netflix show, you’ll like this show!

Incredible acting, the best live special effects, fantastic script. Both me and my wife say its the best show we have ever seen.

Garbage didn’t go back for the second half . Waste of time waste of money . Boring!!

Really great theatrics and superb acting. Plays on the show obviously but has an original plot that does keep you on the edge.

The show was technically excellent and the acting was superb.

I’d echo what some others have said about making sure you have a seat without viewing restrictions to ensure you don’t miss any action, but I couldn’t mark the show down for this reason.

I want to give it a 5 star as the storyline and actors were so good but our seats had a restricted view on row Q in the stalls. I didn’t realise this when I booked my fault for not reading the small print but still paid £50 and couldn’t see a crucial scene near the end. This spoilt it for us but hoping to get seats again but with a better view. Also there were young kids around 7or8 years old it’s not a kids show and they kept jumping up moving around talking because they didn’t understand what was going on
The special effects were brilliant

Amazing performance. If you are a fan of stranger things or are a theatre nerd in love of techie theatre done well, go! The special effects in the production are really worth going to see. Recommend buying stalls tickets for the most immersive experience.

If you’re remotely into Stranger Things then I think you absolutely need to go and see Stranger Things On Stage.

It’s simply superb. Extremely well staged with some incredible achievements for live theatre. A good little story that adds significantly to the Stranger Things canon. Last but not least the casting and acting is exceptionally good.

Absolutely phenomenal show! If you want a play that keeps you on the edge of your seat, high amounts of tension, sweaty palms and moments you'll jump out of your skin, this is it! The acting is first class and the special effects are the best I have ever seen!
We sat in row k in the stalls and saw everything- little bits happen at the front of the stage and these were clearly visible from where we sat.

Incredible performance from the actors followed with spectacular special effects! We will come back and watch it with others. Well done 😀

High-quality production with impressive visual and sound effects. The cast is brilliant in their acting and keeps you on the edge the whole time. The story adds to your experience of the Netflix series while also presenting well-known elements of it in an engaging way. Definitely worth it!

Great story, great cast, incredible effects on stage and jumpscares: a must-see show for Stranger Things fans.
We simply loved it!

The experience was good.

However, I really wanted to have learnt more about what comes next, but I am wondering whether this may feed into S5 (or not at all).

The special effects are absolutely fantastic. Some of the best that I've seen on stage.

Definitely more jumpy than the TV show, and a few moments of gore, especially around animals - so do consider this if you're planning to attend with kids.

The person that played Joyce was second to none. She had her voice, style, movements down to a tee. Absolutely perfect.

Do take heed of the notices about restricted views if sitting in the back rows of the stalls. There are quite a few things than you don't see from that far back in the theatre.

Wonderfully entertaining across the board.
But do you really have to sell popcorn 🍿!? The family behind me kept diving into the bucket distracting me from the show. And YOU encouraged it!!!!!
