I can only echo what Simon said below, we have also contacted our bank and reported fraud.
Do not use this company....!!!!

Ordered a replacement stove glass from Stoveglass-Direct as their stated delivery time was 3 days. However a couple of weeks later had not received the glass, despite numerous emails and tried calling them. Phone went to answer phone, but I could not leave a message as the message box had exceed its limit. (Which is rather telling.) Sent two emails cancelling the order and requesting refund & ordered the glass from Amazon - which arrived in 3 days. Still have not received the refund or heard back, but they have now sent the cancelled glass. Now requested a return but don't expect they will reply. Have passed the issue onto my bank as fraud.
Stoveglass-Direct are hopeless

Here we are 9 March and a stunning silence from Stoveglass-direct. I'll definitely be paying a visit after lock down and they won't like that one little bit. Meanwhile I'll be talking to Trading Standards and again will be speaking to the people who handle their order/ payments again.

Oh dear! I seem to have the same problem too. I initially managed to get hold of him quite easily (he obviously knew that I was a new customer). I sent him my template of the glass I needed replacing on 4th Feb. As I hadn't heard from him I rang him on 12th Feb and again got through. Whilst I was on the phone he had to open numerous envelopes to see if one of them was my template but as none turned out to be mine he asked me to text him a photo of the log burner. He knew immediately which piece of glass was needed and said that he had it in stock and would post it out to me that afternoon providing I paid £29.65 (including delivery charge) which I did using my credit card. It is now 9th March. I still have not received the glass. For the last 3 weeks I have been trying to get hold of him via email, his landline and mobile. To date I have had no response to my emails, he has not returned my messages I have left him - all I get from his mobile now is a permanent engaged tone and his landline answer machine cannot take any further messages as it is full. I will endeavour to get my money back but will be in touch with both Trading Standards and the Police.

I had similar case to nick below. Ordered 2 x glass on 5 Feb, confirmation email on 8 Feb. Noted poor delivery details (delivered by ‘Others’). Rang and emailed for more details. No reply. Googled 16 digit tracking number and matched it to Hermes but 10 days later tracking details reflected not collected. Threatened company with police action by email and then 2 days later 1 of 2 ordered delivered.

I am having the same problem as others. Ordered some stove glass on 15th Feb. Got an e mail on 16th saying it had been despatched. Since then, nothing. They don't answer message or the phone. I will try and get a charge back via my bank. In the meantime I'd advise everyone not to touch this company with a bargepole.

Update: Today the glass I received was delivered, more than two weeks after the promised delivery date. The company never responded to any of my e mails or answered the phone. They just appear to be totally incompetent.

Order delivered smashed after 11 days (Courier at fault). Emailed 4 times without a response. Found local supplier and had to break corvid restrictions to get it..£10 cheaper. This company should be black listed. Total failed to respond. I shall get my bank to get refund AVOID.

I have returned some glass that didn't fit. It was signed for and received, but still no refund. Phone rings out, emails ignored. Please get in touch.

Like many other no glass received and now the tracking number doesn’t come up with anything when it used to say we are awaiting your parcel. No reply to emails and by the look of other reviews there won’t be any replies. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered I will be in contact with my bank to see if I can get the charge refunded. What ever you do stay away from this supposed company.

Two weeks for delivery. Incorrect size delivered, been chasing a response for resolution for 10 days but no response at all.

Judging by the reviews I suspect I may have been better using the £25 to light a fire.

Same as many customers wish I’d read reviews earlier - ordered glass it did not arrived - chased and no response will be following citizens advice legal route for consumer rights
Awful do not use

Ordered 1st jan - £60 money out of bank and still no delivery ! Now 6th Feb - won’t answer emails or phone
Shocking service have had to order from a different company and have received within 2 days

Ordered replacement glass and stove rope. The order was delivered in 10 days. Everything was okay with the order. Good prices and delivery fine. The only negative is that they cannot be contacted, no response to email and the telephone just went to answer phone which said it could take no more messages.

Very late arriving ordered 3rd January and arrived yesterday, 30th.
Well packaged and at a good price.
I actually got through to Richard 3 times on the phone to chase this but no replies to a number of emails.
I don’t think he’s a con man, just disorganised.
Unfortunately won’t be using again because of this☹️

Don't order there!
You won't get your ordered item but the money is unfortunately out of my bank account and in their pocket.
I ordered the item, got straightaway a confirmation and a day later a shipping email, But the item never arrived.I tried to get in connact with them, no response on emails or phone calls.

They took our money over 3 months ago and wont get back to emails or messages. Never send the product. This man is a thief.

Ordered product on 31/12/2020, still not received, messaged to them last week to ask about delivery time & still no reply !!!

Terrible service..I ordered glass but took so long to arrive I cancelled. It still arrived about a month later and so I returned but no refund. Con men?!
