Some graphics are significantly below acceptable standards
I was looking for some graphics I could use for a scientific figure (work related), but found a lot of stuff that falls significantly below acceptable standards and does not meet even the minimum quality requirements I would expect.
The filter "Exclude Generative AI" does not work and one still finds a lot of false labelled and inaccurate AI generated images (they sell with extended license for 80 USD each).
Especially if it is labelled "meticulously detailed for educational biology" I would expect that there is at least a bit of quality control on the level of a toddler (typos in labels, AI generated text with AI image artifacts, brain in the leg, ...)
The platform feels like a waste of time and money, or even rip-off or fraudulent in my opinion. Ones wastes a lot of time to remove 90% of poor quality in the search results first. I cannot believe images in the stock are curated in any way.

I believe it is my right to understand if there was any mistake or violation associated with my account. To the best of my knowledge, I have followed all guidelines and did not intentionally violate any rules.

Misleading
I got advertised into what I thought was a free trial. I added my credit card details thinking I’d only be charged after the trial if I decided to continue. Instead, I got charged immediately for a 3-month subscription, which then got prolonged into a yearly plan because I didn’t cancel in time (which I didn’t do because they warned me that I’d lose all benefits immediately, so I’d basically be paying for nothing).
So I didn’t cancel right away, missed the 3-month mark (my mistake), and now I’m stuck paying a €142 cancellation fee because my subscription got prolonged into a yearly one. This is very misleading and the subscription is VERY expensive. I’ll never think of subscribing again.
Adobe stocks getting me flagged on youtube
Before i never had a issue with adobe stocks but as of right now i was use my credit to use a music song they had avalible and as i post it up on youtube i get flagged and even though it says im licensed i still get flagged and have to send a dispute. completely unexcepted as a content creator i am working hard to get my videos out and turns out i have to wait 1-30 days until my video can go up. Not the best impression i shall say. Pretty dissapointed. I pay hard working money for products that should work, not make my life harder. Even on products that I have "license" to I would still have to re-purchase it and use another credit just to get proof that I have rights to using this product.

Never use this site if you are a videographer, photographer, or author. This site operates like a dictatorship. As soon as you achieve high assets and strong sales, they block your account with fake reasons. All your assets remain on their servers, and they can easily use and sell them to third parties. Adobe Stock is a big scam. Do not waste your time uploading your work for years just for them to easily block your account.

Somit kann ich die Rückweisung von Adobe nicht ernst nehmen. Ich werde diese Plattform als Bildlieferant meiden und empfehle es anderen Fotografen ebenso. Ich habe den Eindruck gewonnen, Adobe hat es nicht nötig.

The average quality of the images and vectors offered has dropped significantly, now flooded with repetitive and technically mediocre content that in no way justifies the exorbitant subscription costs.
The market has evolved, but Adobe seems stuck in the past. There are now numerous competitors—from more dynamic independent agencies to modern platforms—that offer superior quality assets at a fraction of the price. Paying a premium just for the brand name is no longer logical.
The most frustrating part? Adobe continues to push its expensive, closed ecosystem, while the reality is that Open Source tools like GIMP now offer a level of flexibility and file management power that rivals the 'big' Creative Cloud software. With GIMP, I can manage professional workflows cleanly and efficiently without being chained to extortionate monthly fees for a stock service that simply doesn't deliver value.
If you are looking for genuine quality and respect for your budget, look elsewhere. Adobe Stock is an outdated service

ich muss mich den anderen Bewertungen leider anschließen - dieses Abo ist eine freche Abzocke - ich kann nur davon abraten Adobe-Stockmedien zu nutzen - die Kündigungsbedingungen wurden im verg. Jahr über die Hintertür so ekelhaft verändert, dass man bei Kündigung hohe Kündigungsgebühren zahlen muss.... Mit Knebelverträgen, die sich automatisch verlängern, wird der Kunde gemein reingelegt...! Finger weg - unseriöse Abzocke!

If I could give their service 0 stars I would. Absolute scam. They threaten to charge you a cancelation fee even if you have never used the site and make it impossible to contact anyone to discuss.
Another big company sticking it to the artists and consumers
Don't sign up for the free month! It is a scam! They do not send any notices about the month ending, and once you pass the date they lock you out of canceling via online. You have to call. I could never get through. I was even willing to eat 1 month paid, but when I disputed it with my bank they took me for 5 months of service. I only ever used 2 photos. So I paid over $100 for 2 photos, and I assure you the photographers didn't see that money. Just purchase photos from independent photographers - you will save a lot of money and support small business and artists in the process!
Abusive, Non-Transparent, and Coercive Billing Practices by Adobe Stock

I also experienced a similar and highly troubling situation with Adobe Stock. I registered for a free trial and downloaded several images strictly for evaluation purposes. These images were never used, as the service ultimately did not meet my needs.
Before the end of the trial period, I cancelled the subscription. Although no confirmation email was provided, I was redirected to a page clearly indicating that the subscription had been successfully cancelled. On this basis, I reasonably believed that no further charges would occur.
Despite this, my account was subsequently charged €36 over a period of two months. When I contacted Adobe to resolve the issue and terminate the subscription definitively, I was informed that I would be required to pay an early termination fee of €175 in order to cancel. This demand was made even though the subscription had been cancelled during the trial period and the downloaded content had not been used.
As a consequence, the only effective way to stop further unauthorized charges was to cancel my bank card and request a replacement, which itself incurred an additional fee. This resulted in a disproportionate financial burden, particularly for what amounted to the download of a few low-value images that were never used.
Such practices are excessive, coercive, and incompatible with basic principles of consumer protection. Imposing significant financial penalties and forcing consumers into drastic measures simply to exit a service raises serious concerns regarding transparency, fairness, and the balance of power between consumers and large digital platforms.
These practices warrant regulatory scrutiny and corrective action. Without stronger oversight, consumers remain exposed to subscription models that rely on confusion, procedural obstacles, and punitive fees rather than informed and genuine consent.

J’ai également vécu une situation similaire et particulièrement préoccupante avec Adobe Stock. Je me suis inscrite à un essai gratuit et j’ai téléchargé plusieurs images strictement à des fins d’évaluation. Ces images n’ont jamais été utilisées, le service ne correspondant finalement pas à mes besoins.
Avant la fin de la période d’essai, j’ai résilié l’abonnement. Bien qu’aucun e-mail de confirmation ne m’ait été envoyé, j’ai été redirigée vers une page indiquant clairement que l’abonnement avait bien été annulé. Sur cette base, j’ai raisonnablement pensé qu’aucun prélèvement supplémentaire n’aurait lieu.
Malgré cela, mon compte a ensuite été débité de 36 € sur une période de deux mois. Lorsque j’ai contacté Adobe afin de résoudre le problème et de mettre fin définitivement à l’abonnement, il m’a été indiqué que je devais m’acquitter de 175 € de frais de résiliation anticipée pour pouvoir annuler. Cette demande a été formulée alors même que l’abonnement avait été résilié pendant la période d’essai et que le contenu téléchargé n’avait pas été utilisé.
En conséquence, la seule solution efficace pour empêcher de nouveaux prélèvements non autorisés a été de faire opposition sur ma carte bancaire et d’en demander une nouvelle, ce qui a également entraîné des frais supplémentaires. Cette situation a engendré une charge financière disproportionnée, pour ce qui correspondait au téléchargement de quelques images de faible valeur qui n’ont jamais été utilisées.
De telles pratiques sont excessives, coercitives et incompatibles avec les principes fondamentaux de la protection des consommateurs. Imposer des pénalités financières importantes et contraindre les consommateurs à prendre des mesures drastiques simplement pour quitter un service soulève de sérieuses préoccupations en matière de transparence, d’équité et d’équilibre des rapports de force entre les consommateurs et les grandes plateformes numériques.
Ces pratiques appellent à une surveillance réglementaire renforcée et à des mesures correctives. En l’absence d’un encadrement plus strict, les consommateurs restent exposés à des modèles d’abonnement reposant sur la confusion, des obstacles procéduraux et des frais punitifs, plutôt que sur un consentement libre, éclairé et véritable.

1 Jahr lang recherchiert, welche Bilder selten sind. Bilder eingestellt. Und die meisten werden abgelehnt. Am Wochenanfang gehen eher Bilder durch, je später die Woche, desto eher ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit auf Ablehnung durch "Qualitätsproblemen" oder "ähnliche Inhalte". Aber wenn man, wie ich, sich vorher die Mühe macht und sucht, weiß man, welche Bilder tatsächlich noch nicht in Masse vorhanden sind. Daher sind die Ablehnungsgründe "ähnliche Inhalte" definitiv gelogen.
Und zur Krönung wurde mein Konto nun noch auf "inaktiv" gesetzt, weil ich angeblich mehrere Benutzerkonten habe. Ebenfalls eine dreiste Lüge.
Über "Kontakt" wird keine Kommunikation mehr hergestellt. Ich habe eine Mail versendet mit Bitte um Aufklärung und Nachweisen (die sie nicht haben werden).
Tut euch selbst den Gefallen, und spart euch die Mühe. Adobe ist es nicht wert.
