My 11 year old has a super cute figure. We were school shopping for the first time before she started her first day at Jr High (BIG deal!). We found these adorable Guess jeans at an outlet mall for a steal, but they were 4-5” too long. I bought them anyway, watched the tutorial and hemmed them like a PRO! I felt so confident cutting off the bottom of pricey jeans and you can’t tell at all!

I find this course on altering very easy to follow and have learned a lot. Their response to any questions I had was prompt and thorough.
Really happy I signed up and am looking forward to applying new skills for years to come.

I have only just signed up for this. The course looks to be a fantastic facility for resizing ill fitting garments, I can already see I am going to learn an awful lot which will help me to have more confidence when doing alterations.

I’ve just joined the course, and I’m learning so much already.

So far, I have learnt some new tips and find the course easy to follow. Not done a lot of it yet as been too busy but, I am looking forward to learning more.

This site provides great tips based on individual fitting issues. It’s nice to go back and re read and print any of the articles

I’m still trying to find the place to set up a place for a user name and password. Currently I’m using my email confirmation to get into the site. This is the only issue I have

I accidentally auto filled my details which had older info on.
When I needed it corrected it was done efficiently so I could acess my course.

What a fantastic course! I am really impressed with how well it’s put together. It’s structured in such a way that each lesson builds on the previous one. I have 3 pairs of trousers lined up for alterations next weekend and excited to apply everything I’ve learned. I also like that I can go back and rewatch videos of if I want to sense check something. Fantastic value for money.

Still making my way through, only on chapter 8 but finding it really useful and well explained. The videos are really helpful and love that I can pick it up when I have a few minutes to spare without any pressure or deadline to finish.

I am very happy that I chose this course. I love that I can log into my course whenever I have time, and begin learning. After having the course for one month, I am hopeful that this course will be one of my stepping stones towards becoming self-sufficient, and help me break free from my 9-5 position. The course is very clear, detailed and it's easy to follow instructions I'm glad I made this investment.

I’ve just joined Stitched Fits, and working my way through reading everything. It all looks great, and I’m excited to start on projects. They are very helpful, if you have a query, or ask questions about sewing, getting back to me very quickly. I am impressed and glad I joined.

Self learner, watched 100’s of You Tube videos, wasted so many hours on adverts and finding the right video, before finding this course. Very well priced and used it twice already. Both times found it so quick, easy and clear to follow. Feel confident to do much more. I havent used the community chat yet but i am sure that will be invaluable also.

I've not yet had time for work & family reasons to alter anything . Having read the material, I can say I'm already impressed.
The sewing refresher guide alone is full of information over & above what I would consider a 'refresher'; it's full of information I should have been taught when I started sewing at school years ago, and at an adult education course recently. I was mostly self-taught after that poor start - I can't wait to get going again and do it all properly.

It feels very straightforward and authentic. I am gaining the confidence I didn't have before to alter those clothes I need to alter.

Really great content, easy access to course material and community. Im really enjoying going through the videos and love that I can just go back and rewatch (many times) at my convenience. I never intended to do alterations when I started my sewing journey last year but after having some garments thrown at me by family I decided to actually learn...and I love it,this course will be perfect for me. Don't hesitate to purchase like I did

I haven’t finished all the classes yet since I’ve been hobby sewing for years and have already started altering my clothes, especially adding pockets to all of my non-tight dresses, skirts, and pants! (Done ~20, ~60 more to go!) But almost immediately upon joining, I encountered an issue that I just couldn’t figure out and went on the forum to ask for advice. Other members and admin all chimed in with really informative, detailed answers vs what I normally get from Facebook sewing groups with 1 sentence answers - repeatedly. Couldn’t find anything online either since search engines spit back suggestions & videos that were approximate but didn’t quite work for that particular project. It was a waste of time Googling, honestly.

I feel like that alone was worth the enrollment fee!!!

I had video playback issues. The company gave me clear and detailed instruction to identify the issue. Within a couple of emails the issues was resolved and I could work my way through the course. Emails were answered in a quick and friendly manner. I would definitely recommend.

I had a question about the course and they were 100% honest about their answer! I went ahead and signed up for the course even though the answer wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Honesty means everything!

As a self taught sewist, I love making clothes, but, this course is teaching me about the structure of clothes and how to look at garments to find the area that needs altering which isn’t always where it seems. Not only am I learning a new skill, but improving the one I have. Very good value for money, worth every penny.
