Great watch well made, happy with my purchase

It’s a simple timepiece and I have never paid as much for a watch before. Considering the fact it shipped from a different country, it arrived quickly and shipped in a quality case. The minute I opened it up and pulled it out of its case, I could tell there was something different about my watch compared to other brands I have owned. The quality and different that I see compared to other brands is night and day. I love my watch and so far it has proven to be well worth it.

The Stirling Durrant was sent out and arrived in Hawaii in a militarily timely manner. From the packaging to the fit and finish of the watch, straps, and black DLC bracelet that I ordered was excellent! I purchased this to mark my retirement from the Military. I do also own a Marathon SS Navigator which is also and excellent watch, but I rarely see companies with watches that are blacked out and mostly Matte, especially DLC coated for durability which was the selling point to me, and half the price of a Marathon! I am glad I chose the Stirling Durrant Black for my watch, and it will remind me of my 25+ years in the Military for years to come.

The watch arrived (from the UK to the US) in only 4 days. It's even more stunning than it looks online and the quality of materials and assembly is outstanding. I highly recommend Sterling, and look forward to potentially owning another one in the future.

Our Unit (Family Victims Unit) ordered a custom Burton-Artic White watch from Stirling Timepieces to honor our fallen Sergeant who was killed in the line of duty. We wanted a way to remember him, keep him close, and a reminder that he is always with us. We worked with Special Projects Manager, Lee Sapstead to ensure that all the details we wanted were present on the watch.
We started with the Burton-Artic White with the fully lumed dial. We had the second hand changed to a dark navy blue (representing a thin blue line) and added "FVU" and Sarge's badge number "873" on the dial.
On the case back we added the squad motto "Dispensing Grace and Long Prison Sentences" as Sarge was a big advocate of holding offenders accountable for the horrible crimes that our squad investigates. The text wraps around an image of St. Michael kneeling.
On the crown, we were ambitious when we told Lee that we wanted a lit cigarette, as Sarge would smoke one in the alley every now and again, or maybe more than one.
Lee worked with us hand in hand on the design concept to get everything just right. He communicated every step of the way and guaranteed that we were in good hands.
On Monday, May 4, 2026 our watches were delivered, and boy did they DELIVER. The timepieces were classy, elegant, made with quality materials, and the design was better than we could have hoped for. This piece means so much to our squad, and I truly cannot recommend this company enough to anyone interested in a classic timepiece. This will be an heirloom, it is one of a kind, and will be a constant reminder that Sarge is with us in our day to day work.

I’ve recently been working with the team to design a bespoke watch for myself and my colleagues, and I honestly have nothing but positive things to say about the experience so far.
At the start, the process required a fair amount of back-and-forth, including multiple requests and several design updates. My main point of contact, Karina, was absolutely brilliant throughout. She was consistently quick to respond, incredibly informative, and made it feel like nothing was too much trouble.
Beyond the emails, I had the pleasure of speaking with Karina and a few other team members over the phone. They were all remarkably personable and professional, making the whole customer service experience feel seamless.
I also really appreciate the team’s background; as they are mostly ex-service personnel, they had a solid, intuitive understanding of exactly what I was looking to achieve with this project.
