Feels like a scam
I ordered the micro adjustment link for my Tudor bb 58 and was supposed to arrive in January. January came and it never arrived, they said that they had a manufacturing issue and that it would be delayed till march, which I completely understood and didn’t have an issue with. However, it got to the end of March and it never arrived so I emailed them and again they said it would be delayed this time until end of April. End of April then came and my order never arrived again. I emailed them and it was delayed till may, then again this happened and I was told June. I’ve had to email them every time off my own back not had a single word from them without me pushing for an answer. I still haven’t received my order and have no idea when I will. The service has been absolutely despicable at times. I’ve thought is this a scam? If there were another company that made a similar product I would 100% have gone for them. I will never I repeat never be ordering from steel reef again and I would highly highly recommend people avoid them. If I would have known this i would have just spent the extra and got one of the new OEM bracelets with the micro adjustment
Top notch bezel inserts and great service
I’ve ordered three Tudor bezel inserts (two in December 2025, and one this month, June 2026) from Steel Reef and they have all been top quality. It’s nice to have the option to customize and change up something as personal as my watch(es), and Steel Reef’s color options have been really fun and inspiring.
The bezel inserts are rather pricy, but the quality is there to match. Third-party options often get a bad rap for being lower quality or gimmicky, but these are neither. The inserts are the same quality as Tudor’s, in my experience. So the price tag reflects that.
Items were in-stock and shipped within 24hrs. Tracking orders internationally can run the risk of being confusing or laggy—which of course is only within the courier’s or customs’ control—but the Steel Reef’s team is quick to jump in and help navigate any tricky shipping scenarios. Grateful for not only their quality products but their attentive service as well.
Great Marketing, Terrible Communication, Still Waiting on My Refund
I hate leaving negative reviews, but after more than a year of dealing with this, I feel it’s warranted.
I ordered a SwiftLink on-the-fly extension for my Grand Seiko after seeing Steel Reef’s excellent marketing and reading the promises on their website. Unfortunately, the experience never matched the advertising.
After placing my order, months went by without receiving the product. I sent multiple emails requesting updates and eventually asking for a refund, but I received no response whatsoever.
Eventually, I sold the Grand Seiko the product was intended for and honestly forgot about the order.
This week, after seeing another Steel Reef advertisement, I remembered the outstanding order and reached out again. This time they finally responded with an apology, stating they had received the product, were planning to begin shipping in early July, and offered me the choice of a 20% refund if I still wanted the product or a full refund if I preferred to cancel.
Since I no longer own the watch, I immediately requested the full refund.
Unfortunately, after two additional follow-up emails, I still have not received any confirmation that my refund is being processed.
The frustrating part isn’t even the production delay—manufacturing issues happen. It’s the complete lack of communication. Had Steel Reef simply kept customers informed or responded to refund requests when they were first made, this review probably wouldn’t exist.
Their products may be excellent, but customer service and communication have been among the worst I’ve experienced. Until my refund is actually processed, I can’t recommend ordering from them.
Fraudulent company avoid at all costs
I ordered a BB58 swift link in January, with estimated delivery for the end of the month. It's been over 6 months and they totally stopped answering my emails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Long wait, no updates

They continue to advertise products, however, I am unsure if they deliver any products or if they are just collecting peoples money and hoping that they forget.

Still no delivery for an order placed in November. Customer service doesn't even bother to reply anymore. It is impossible to get a refund. The site is still offering its products. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered an Explorer half link in December 2025. When it arrived in February 2026, the centre link was polished, incorrect for the all-brushed Explorer bracelet.
Steel Reef acknowledged the fault and admitted it affected the entire batch. I was promised a replacement with the correct brushed finish. In April, they told me the corrected batch would be finished and shipped "later this month." No update since....
My replacement, promised since February, hasn't moved.
I sent three follow-up emails over the past weeks, giving them every opportunity to put things right. No response to any of them.
The product concept is good. The after-sales is non-existent once they have your money.

I ordered an On the Fly Extension link for the Black Bay 58 at the beginning of March. At the time, delivery was expected end of March.
The order has been delayed at least three times. I have paid in full and still have not seen the product after 3 months.
The overall experience is truly awful. There had been absolutely no updates from Steel Reef (other than a non-stop stream emails from "Gabe" promoting other products that I did not order). I only receive an update after I email to ask them about the order status.
The product might be truly amazing. It doesn't matter because I don't have the product.
The purchasing experience has been miserable. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I made an order on April 4th, and as of May 26th I still have nothing to show for it. Also, I asked them info by email about a month ago and was told it was a matter of a week or two. Stay away, it is an absolute scam!

I have pre-ordered a link for Grand Seiko in Feb 2025 and i still have not received it in May 2026.
Not sure what they're doing over there. Some emails have been sent to inform that there are delays over delays, currently "Spring 2026" is the latest expected release date.

Frankly everything went smoothly, order a oyster half link, contacted them to modify the delivery address and they answered quickly, delivery was pretty fast, the link matches perfectly with my bracelet, top quality, i finally have the ideal fit for my watch (it took me 9 years to find a solution)
Good products, EU import duties spoil the experience
I bought an on the fly link, it fits perfectly and it came with an unnecessarily fancy packaging and laser engraved metal card. Prices aren’t cheap what makes the purchase unsustainable on my point of view is the tariff to be paid to import to EU.

I placed an order for a Grand Seiko link in September of 2025. It is now getting towards the end of April 2026. No updates, zero estimate as to when this item will be available and ship. It now appears as though my purchase was simply a donation rather than a transaction. I am not sure if I will ever receive my order.

Proceed with caution. My first order got lost. They resent another order and that has been tied up in customs for over 2 weeks. They use the cheapest, most unreliable shipping with multiple middlemen. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. This company won’t be around much longer if they can’t figure out their logistics. Overall the worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing any product. -5 out of 5 star.
