In short:
• Modern AAA games: can play at 20-40 FPS for about 2 hours (on full brightness and 100% sound)
• Great game collection, lacks mod manager's support
• Sleep feature is great from what I can tell
• Works as intended, but not the most polished

Bought the steam deck recently, modded it with decky. I love it.
Why only 4 stars? Well, the support for game modding on the OS is nearly non existent, and for a device that one of it's main features is being a pc, and that is advertised with a game collection like Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim, Witcher 3, Fallout 4... It's disappointing to say the least. Still, being able to play my favourite games on the go? Such a great experience. Battery life of the Steam Deck OLED 1TB is 2 hours for AAA titles on 30-40 FPS with the right graphical settings so I'm pretty content with it, on desktop mode just using the device you get around 6 hours (never ran out of battery in desktop mode, it's what the battery icon told me after spending and hour or so trying to mod fo4) so it all makes sense.
Also, I can't stress how much I like the sleep feature. You just press the red button on top of the deck and that's it, put that puppy wherever and come back when you're ready, it's pretty comparable to the Nintendo switch's sleep feature in terms of how good it is. In terms of quality- kinda meh, sure it works but why does it take it 5-10 seconds to actually go to sleep? I keep hearing the audio and the sleep animation is sometimes delayed even more. It's not very polished but it works mostly as intended.

Je mets 5 étoiles alors que la console n'est pas parfaite, mais en vrais le travail fait dessus est incroyable alors que c'était ambitieux de dingue à la base. J'ai la version LCD 64Go (j'avais pris la moins chère au vues des critiques qui étaient très durent envers cette console), obligatoire de prendre une carte SD, les 64Go impossible d'y installer des jeux dessus, l'OS va manger tout l''espace au bout de quelques mois d'utilisation. Les chargements sont longs du coup mais c'est pas très grave.
L'OS est vraiment super bien fait, pour moi c'est plus une console qu'un PC, malheureusement, le plus gros défaut (pour quelqu'un qui viendrait du monde des consoles) ceux sont les jeux dont les éditeurs n'ont absolument rien fait pour adapter le produit, du coup il faut bidouiller des fois, et brancher la console sur la télé c'est super bugué malheureusement.

I love this console, it's a very powerful mini pc, given the price, and every good game runs on it easily, and with a couple of minutes anything can be installed
