I really enjoyed staying in this…

I really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It’s a great space bright, comfortable, and just feels nice to be in day to day. The layout works well and there’s plenty of natural light, which makes a big difference. One thing I appreciated a lot is how quiet it is. It’s easy to relax or get work done without much noise.The location is also really convenient everything you need is nearby, and getting around is easy. At the same time, it doesn’t feel too busy or overwhelming.
Overall, it’s just a really solid place to stay . I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable and hassle-free.

Light, spacious apartment in the centre of Brighton

We booked an apartment in the centre of Brighton for a long weekend. The communication from our hosts was brilliant and they answered any questions we had promptly. There was a little bit of confusion over the access code to the building but after a quick phone call it was all sorted, however we then discovered the lift wasn’t working (not the fault of the host) which made dragging suitcases up three flights of stairs not ideal! Once inside the apartment we were surprised at how big it was. It was light, airy, beautifully decorated and very clean. We were greeted with a welcome tray of milk and biscuits, toiletries in both bathrooms and all the cleaning materials we would need. The beds were very comfortable, the bedding was nice and clean and the towels which were provided were soft and fluffy. All the appliances in the kitchen were modern and easy to use and the cookware, crockery, utensils were spotless. The only niggle we had was that it could get quite noisy from the street antics down below but it was to be expected, being situated in the heart of the city (ear-plugs helped me to sleep). We were very happy with our reservation and would definitely consider staying there again.

Light, airy apartment near Swansea City Center

This property is exactly as described. It is light and airy, perfect for 2 people and definitely will accommodate up to 4. The appliances are in good working order, the user manuals are available for reference (a real plus for those of us from across the pond) and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This is the second time I've stayed at this particular property, and I am very likely to rebook when I return to Swansea in a few months.

The cottage was in a great location

The cottage was in a great location, but has become tired and neglected from a maintenance point of view and cleaning was average. The place has the potential to be great with some investment: simple things no tv channels worked, front door almost impossible to open a close, old furniture, bathrooms seen better days. WiFi rubbish (and thus digital tv does not work)

SCAM SCAM SCAM ARTISTS - booked their 2 bed apartment 14 Cumrae Street Cardiff - the place NOT as described. Paid for 17 nights as working in the area £1352.24. arrived and clear the place was not as the photos. Damp, musty dirty, furniture broken, shower in the kitchen, the smell - omg. The damp up the walls. the bedding was damp and musty. Complained they admitted yes the place had a flood and they need to send a plumber in still and decorators and can we wait a week for them to do that. I said please can you refund - they offered 2 other properties - 1 is a building site covered in scaffolding and hoarding all around it - seriously. the other flat has poor reviews also on booking.com . I said well as neither are also suitable please issue refund. They have declined. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Properties are not what is shown on thier photos, and they will take our money. Booking.com did their best but on emails to me they said they would sort refund - booking.com said they refused to entertain a refund. SCAMERS

We had a really positive experience…

We had a really positive experience with the host from start to finish. They were responsive, proactive, and easy to communicate with, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring. Everything was exactly as described ahead of check-in, so there were no surprises when we arrived.

There were a few minor points with the property itself, which we’ve shared privately, but nothing that impacted the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Overall, a good experience with a professional and attentive host. Thank you!

Just got home from a 3 night stay in…

Just got home from a 3 night stay in Portishead, great place to stay with plenty of shops bars & restaurants nearby, house was very clean and comfortable and perfect for couples or a family with one child, access was straight forward with private parking close by. Will stay here again in the future.

I stayed in this apartment recently and…

I stayed in this apartment recently and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.

The apartment was very dirty and there was a strong unpleasant smell inside the house. The mop was broken and the beds were dirty, which made the stay very uncomfortable.

Cleanliness is very important for guests and in this case the property was clearly not properly cleaned before our arrival.

I hope the host will improve the cleaning standards for future guests.

I stayed in this property few times in last 3 years, it's very quiet and very pace-full, clean it's very good for money. Very private. The location it is very convenient location for me.

The host team has been very helpful and friendly responsive and respectful.

gross negligence, incompetence, and total failure of duty of care**

This experience with **Stay Right**, facilitated through **Airbnb**, was nothing short of disgraceful.

Upon arrival in **Swansea**, we discovered that **no keys or access instructions had been provided** for the property we had booked and paid for—**almost £2,000 in advance**. This alone represents a serious failure of basic operational responsibility.

What followed was **over four hours spent waiting in the cold**, late in the day, while repeatedly attempting to resolve a situation that was entirely of the provider’s making. During this time, we were offered an “alternative property” as a supposed solution. However, this was **not a solution at all**. After being redirected and reassured, we were then informed that the replacement property **does not accept last-minute bookings**—information that should have been known *before* we were sent there and *certainly* before we were left waiting for hours with no accommodation.

Airbnb’s involvement in this process was equally unacceptable. We were reassured that a resolution had been arranged, yet the so-called solution provided was **completely unviable**. Offering an option that was never available in the first place demonstrates a shocking lack of verification, accountability, and care for customer safety and welfare.

To summarise:

* Nearly **£2,000 paid**
* **No access** to the original property
* **Four hours stranded in the cold**
* A replacement accommodation that **could never have been used**
* No urgency, no ownership, and no meaningful support

This was not a minor inconvenience or a misunderstanding—it was a **complete breakdown of service**, compounded by misinformation and poor decision-making at every stage. Being left without accommodation after dark due to failures by both the host company and the booking platform is unacceptable and deeply distressing.

Stay Right showed an alarming level of incompetence, and Airbnb failed in its responsibility to ensure that the “solution” it provided was legitimate, appropriate, or even real.

I would strongly advise anyone considering either using Stay Right or relying on Airbnb’s customer support in a crisis to think again. This situation should never have occurred, and the way it was handled only made it worse.

Utterly unacceptable.

Stayright have been managing my property for over a year now and I’ve been very impressed with the returns. Furthermore they really look after my unit which is highly appreciated and Guest reviews have always been great.
