Good resource tool to find useful information especially from the community regarding your development projects.

Stackexchange is a joke! I have been harassed multiple times by the same member on the Stackexchange Blender website. I kept flagging the harassment but nothing was done, and the flags were rejected. The person came back and harassed me again tonight. When I flagged his post, they deleted my account. I have had a support ticket open for a week with no response.

In order to comment or answer anywhere we need what they call 'reputations'. I feel it subdues our freedom of speech as we can't ask important questions.

Don't ever create profile on this page. It is completely useless, you need reputation to post vote or comment and you earn reputation by commenting. But wait, you can't comment if you haven't got any reputation so profile is completely useless and has imbecilic system

It’s basically THE go to resource for tech problems for coders. The bad thing is that subjective kinds of posts are heavily moderated and anything that’s not objective questions about tasks is resisted. A lot of great discussions are killed off prematurely just because moderators want to be busybodies.
A little tweak on the site’s policies would turn this into a solid 10/10 unstoppable resource.

Amazing site for coders requiring any kind of assistance , PHP, java you name it and their network helps, i often enjoy a lot help from them its about time a put a review for them.

An amazing network of forums for all of your needs! (From software development to coffee to Minecraft to SciFi and Fantasy!) Most people are very nice and respectful, but you always have a few that aren't so great, so be mindful of that.

Lots of unprofessional people contributing. No support with regard to complaints. One of the worst sites definitely!

Absolutely pathetic service. You have an issue, you search through Bing, Google, etc to try and find a fix. You can't find one so you decide "Hey, I know, I'll ask someone on the appropriate Stack Exchange site. They'll know what to do." So you go to the Stack Exchange site appropriate to the area you're working in, ask your question,and right off the bat someone's barking at you that your question is a duplicate. No help. No assistance. No friendly greeting. Just immediate badgering as if "How dare you ask something that's remotely similar to something else on our site?!?!?"

You can't get started on this network because of the clique that exists with the "moderators". They always act as if you should bow down and worship everything they ever say and tell you to do and don't you DARE think of standing up to them. Seriously, these moderators make you think of people with teenager maturity level living in their mom's basement while they're single at 45, playing World of Warcraft all day and only getting on Stack Exchange during their free time.

This whole "IT'S A DUPLICATE" thing has GOT TO GO. These moderators get off on being the one to mark it as duplicate or something as if there's a reward for doing so. And all that is actually mild compared to if you get on one of the religious stack exchange sites and say something that the moderators don't doctrinally hold to. Good grief, they'll open the gates of hell and immediately conduct a crusade against you.

And what happens if you try to contact "Stack Exchange" to resolve something? NOTHING! The contact form goes immediately to the moderators of that particular stack exchange site, whom you have the problem with to begin with, and of course they're not going to do jack.

Take my advice and stay away from Stack Exchange. Find another site who's actually focused and helping people and customer service because it's clear that Stack Exchange is NOT, but rather just a clique of immature people friended together who make themselves feel better and like they've actually accomplished something in life simply because they gained "points". Grow up stack exchange.

There's really nothing to complain about. A top-notch system to achieve and uphold a high quality of questions and answers, a very dedicated community and a team who's always trying to make the site better and better.
Obviously the best site so far!

I've used Stack Exchange for several years for all types of questions, from Fitness to Cooking! its awesome! My hubby uses them for design and programming related questions, it seriously is the best one-stop Q&A site available.

I've lost count of the number of times I've found solutions to my problems on StackExchange.com. It's a fantastic resource for the jobbing programmer.
