I ordered some spores and it took a little longer than expected but it was because my address was the issue, they contacted me and got the issue fixed right away, and they were kind enough to send me some extra spores, I would highly recommend them and there amazing staff to everyone I know that enjoys mycology

My GF bought me three different Spores MD spore syringes (Jedi Mind ***k, Albino Penis Envy, and the Thai one) and I followed the directions exactly and got lots of white flossy in the special mushroom media that she purchased and after many months of white flossy stuff growing NO mushrooms germinated so I called their support number and NO response, so i wrote to them via their website support input and NO response. Highly recommend NOT buying anything from these people. I will for sure be letting everyone know the ZERO support received from SporesMD

post response to the smug bs avoidance from sporesmd.... when your product does not perform and someone reaches out for product replacement telling them you're legally not allowed to provide advice and that I should have done more research, you're right I should have read more about your hit or miss product performance and done business with someone reputable.

Excellent customer service from Brian Bautista, specifically. Returned an unwanted item straightaway, even though it could be said to be my fault. Have purchased spores from them multiple times, without any need to resort to another producer. The spores contained within the syringes are of highest quality, and truly bear fruit to excite the imagination.

I’m going to start by saying save your money and time and go somewhere else and just purchase prints or swabs. I have ordered from this company several times under two accounts. These include ape (2x), enigma 2x), golden halo (1), tidal wave(1), ghost(1) and Jack Frost(1), JMF (1).

To give context on my experience in this hobby, I use agar along side a flowhood. I don’t have contamination issues, I pour my own plates and have had nothing but success with previous cultures of my own.

Nonetheless, I’ve had ape (2x), enigma (1x), ghost (1x) and Jack Frost(1x) be replaced due to poor quality control on their behalf. But to no surprise most of these cultures still turned out AWFUL on agar. If I could include pictures I would happily.

I recently ordered ape and enigma again this month and guess what? They turned out awful. Only got one replaced (enigma) and to no surprise it is still no good. I’m extremely disappointed since I’ve had success with their enigma culture a year ago. however the ape culture in the past never worked out so I’m not surprised it still doesn’t work.

This has been nothing but a waste of time and resources for me. It has roughly been one month since I received the first batch of syringes that turned out bad and now I’m a couple days after receiving the ONE replacement and they’re not looking good. So now I’m down 20 Petri dishes trying to transfer and salvage what I can and a month of wasted time when I could’ve gone to someone else.

If they get serious about their quality control I’d come back around.

I have ordered from this company a few times. They are always quick to respond and extra communicative when it comes to shipment.

They have wonderful attention to detail when it comes to their product packaging and the overall quality of their products is superb. I haven’t had any complaints with anything I have received from them.

If I ever have issues with my shipment, or I have missing product they are super quick to offer a solution or refund immediately. I keep ordering with them because of the excellent quality and customer service they provide. Highly recommend!

SporeMD is by far the BEST & most legitimate liquid culture company on the market. I’ve been going through SporeMD since 2nd grow, I started my journey as an amateur mycologist had horrible experiences with other companies.
I had an experience with a strain what wouldn’t colonize and it could have been the bag I told Brian and Brian Bautista still gave me another one for free. I wasn’t even expecting it I was just trying to see where I might have went wrong. Brian is the man!!
The quality strains and varieties are more than pleasant and vast. My favorite and ONLY place I get my liquid culture syringes.

My research went a little wonky at first, but they went above and beyond to help. It’s really nice when you are trying to learn to not feel like you’re doing it on your own. Thanks for the help!
