Came off but pestered that 'Match' was live. So rejoined but now deleted profile again. At, now 76, this is not appropriate for the likes of me as 'Match' is hopeless due to mainly 2 things and just had a post dissalowed for saying that to someone in their 50's from England. They were saying it's a waste of time as no response and so many time wasters or fake profiles.
Leave it alone if you're not under 40 or not Australian.
Hardly any profiles from UK let alone Wales and having just passed my 76th birthday not a place for me.

Spoony is a site for neuro divergents to mingle, find friends and get companionship. Launched in July 2024 for iPhone users and October 2024 for android users. Based in Australia it is run by people seeking a site for people with mental and physical health problems so they can safely communicate with fellow sufferers. Various promises have failed to materialize making it hard work and eventually when I started complaining and getting others to agree with me, my account was closed. It fails to offer the help needed. For some months a 'match' feature has been promised but not provided. The majority of members are young people from Australia or America. At 75 I found no one in my age range and very few in the UK let alone Wales When discussing health issues it's pointless communicating with people in different hemispheres as their situation is quite literally many miles away. In the UK we are in the depths of a cold and icy winter. In Australia they're having barbis on the beach. They haven't got a clue what we are going through and just say 'it's on the way ' They are treating the most vulnerable sector in society like a queue at the checkout. I am writing this to dissuade people from wasting their time. They don't care even though their philosophy states All of the friends. None of the fear. This sector has been mocked and abused by society for eternity but the change is coming as more publicity helped by celebrity sufferers are going public. Elon Musk, Marc Zuckerberg, Sir Stephen Fry, Sir Michael Palin and Sir Anthony Hopkins have all 'come out' possibly prompted by Chris Peckham who made it his cause.
This is a very unprofessional site run by amateurs. It should be closed down as it gives a false expectation of hope but is hopeless.
