Spittlywood Ltd Recenzje

Excellent Cupboards
Very high quality inch perfect cupboards delivered and fitted on time.

Spittlywood made a bespoke front door for my property. I have to say the workmanship is second to none. Thomas, who fitted the door was extremely conscientious and his attention to detail was faultless. I would highly recommend Spittlywood for any carpentry requirements.

I contacted Steve Spitty by email on 2/3/21 to say would he be interested in replacing four windows for me. He replied very quickly and asked me to send him photos and measurements, which I did on that same day.
I waited a week and then emailed to ask if he had received the photos, and would he be in a position to give me an estimate soon.
Again, there was no response from him, so I waited yet another week and then phoned the company landline and left a message on the answerphone.
When I had no response I phoned his mobile to say could he please just let me know whether or not he was interested in doing the work for me.
Guess what? He did not respond.

Lovely doors. Workmen very efficient and did a good clean up afterwards. Good follow up giving us details of how to treat the doors to keep them looking good. I would recommend them.

Spittlywood manufactured and installed a replacement Accoya wooden door and frame. We are delighted with the results. The workmanship appears to be of a very high standard and the installer was very clean and tidy whilst undertaking the installation. The installation was completed in a day and we are already benefiting from now having a draught free front door.

Spittlywood were able to tailor the job to our requirements and the work was completed to the price originally quoted.

Another superb job completed by this company (new front door).
Some delays along the way but definitely worth waiting for.
High quality workmanship and excellent installation service.

Helpful and a quick response . Prices seem fair

Spittlywood have now completed 7 jobs on our brick barn. Interpretation of our ideas and their execution
means yet another high quality installation.
Conscientious and professional, I think we have an 8th requirement on the horizon.

Coalesce construction

One internal glass door and frame installed last year; excellent craftsmanship, so used again this year for a new front door, surround and porch. Spittlywood gave us minimum disturbance, they were courteous, quick and efficient. At the end the area was left clean and tidy with rubbish removed. Both areas of new work have vastly improved our home and I would highly recommend Spittlywood. Bryan Gipps

I had a number of windows and a stable door replaced by Spittlywood. the quote was competitive, the workmanship excellent and the team left the site tidy. I won't hesitate to re-use Spittlywood for future window replacements.

Steve Spitty responded quickly to my request for a quote, which was competitive, and the order process and the arrangements for the installation of a very large picture window and frame in oak were carried out very well. The installation went as planned and the new window looks outstanding!

We had bespoke interior doors made, excellent quality and service all at a very fair price. Will definitely use again.

Rebuilding our conservatory. An excellent job- great attention to detail and flexibility in dealing with bespoke problems arising during the project. Will want Spittlywood to quote for other potential future work on our property.

Very happy with the quality of the work.

I plan to use them again for more work at my property.

Highly recommended.

We are very happy with the standard of work and the attention to detail of Steve and his workers. We consider the work to have been good value for money given the time spent and the quality of the workmanship. We have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I was as a painter & Decorator working on the outside of next door property, when 2 men from Spittlywood arrived to remove the old weatherboard from that property.
The weatherboard arrived already primed from the works, which was impressive for a start. The whole operation was conducted quickly and efficiently in 4 days, including replacing R/W down pipes and lines to the house. All waste was cleared from the site. Full marks !!

We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our experience with Spittlywood. There was no over the top sales pitch, just an obvious and deep knowledge of working with wood, a detailed quote and help to get what we wanted. We had an opportunity to see the quality of previous work and the installation of our doors was carried out with no fuss but great attention to detail. I would recommend Steve and his company without reservation.

Stephen Spitty is the company director of Spittlywood and came out personally to make out the estimate.
Once agreed, he built my new windows to a high quality finish using Accoya. Its modified timber in which a process called acetylation, a cutting-edge patented technology, enables it to resist rot, staying strong for decades. Guaranteed for 50 years above ground and 25 years in ground or freshwater. He asked me to come in to view them at any time to give me peace of mind that I was in control of obtaining exactly what I required. He even sent back the glass to Pilkingtons, as he wasn’t happy until they had sent him faultless glass to install. He even changed the screws in the window furniture for better quality ones. When complete, he arrived on site on time with four workers, all wearing company tee shirts and acted professionally. I even noticed that all their equipment were quality tools from the Makita range.
They put my mind at rest answering any questions I had at any time and even took off their shoes when entering my house.
Once finished and my windows were installed, they didn’t finish there. Instead they ensured that all carpets were vacuumed, even though they had placed dust sheets down and all rubbish outside was spotlessly cleaned away. They painted the surrounds to the windows to allow all the new windows to blend in with the existing woodwork. The painting wasn’t rushed and put on well using good quality paint.
Stephen is professional, a perfectionist and of course this is the type of person anyone would want to work on their house.
