Sphock just spontaneously removed all of my listings in an effort to extort me for a subscription! I will never ever use their platform ever again! They also hold these fake raffles where nobody ever wins!

Stay away at all costs!! Was scammed through Sendcash a Nigerian reverse money transfer scam. They somehow hacked the account and totally confused me. I lost £115 and all Shpock could say was they have blocked the user and now I should contact my bank .

New to selling on sphock, potentially had a sale today, but sphock wanted £200!% in my account balance to verify my credentials, after the first £100 deposited and transaction verified they said there was a system error and I had to do it again, although the transaction was showing as pending by my bank, I got suspicious and contacted my bank as I think it's a scam
I wouldn't reccomend sphock on this basis.

It's cheaper than eBay and faster because u can collect in person up sides of it now down sides of it some sellers can be a little bit dodgy so always look at feedback before buying also if ur a seller became that not all people stick to commit to them buying off u some buy by confirming on item but then never reply back and leave u hanging or they"l give u a time and never turn up don't have the hassle from a buyer giving u the run a round avoid this also by looking at buyer feedback
I reckon if a person gets bad feedback more than five times they should be band from the app
Its worth giving it ago and once finding a seller that u trust just add them to favourite and stick with them

The worst customer service ever! Take days to respond then respond providing a link to their policies however they disregard their policy and do the opposite. Think there is only one person that answers ( Yana) emails when they can be bothered however just states the same thing which is the total opposite to what their policy states. Don’t sell on this site unless you can be bothered with 3 weeks of emails back and forth to get nowhere. Another site that just sides with the high maintenance buyers that just change their mind!!!!

I have been selling on sphock a few years and I had a payment card which was stolen when they took my hand bag in hospital I contacted the police and the porter to look on the video system to see if the could see who has stolen it they came back and said the camera was broken so the police cancelled my card when I got out of hospital I was issued with a new one I contacted sphock and was asked the details of my old card but I didn't know it and they refused to register my new card I carried on selling when a message was sent to remove the money in my sphock wallet but I deleted it by mistake now I can not get it back now I have lost over £80.00 and there is no details to contact them which is a disgrace

I am discussed of the way sphock works I am a 73 year old woman disabled and house bound 3 days ago I got a message from them about setting up my sphock wallet I did but when I went to with draw my money my old account came up which I had closed and entered my new one through this I deleted my account and I have emailed them but no reply I have lost all the money I made and I can not get it back before you start selling make sure you have I'd card with your photograph or a passport or driving licence for god sake how many people have these things

Having bought a pair of speakers and paid for them several weeks ago and was told they would be there in three days two weeks later no speakers i emailed a week ago and asked for the tracking number but they said they didn't know it and didn't know where the parcel was but would look into it
They have not written back so I will have to take them to the small claims court as there incompetence borders on the criminal

If you think eBay is bad, don't try Shpock - I bought a duvet cover and the image sent by Hermes clearly showed they had not delivered it to my address but had dumped it somewhere else. I kept telling the seller I had not received it - they closed the case, got paid and refuse to do anything about it. Shpock Help fails to respond to my messages about this. If you try and sell, images don't load and messages are only available on their app, so if you use another device, forget it. Pretty disgusting all round.

Update: Seller is busy sending me the same photo of the duvet cover at an address that is not mine and calling me rude for insisting they either refund or find out from Hermes where the duvet cover has been dumped. These are the sort of sellers you get on Shpock, it seems. Help at Shpock has yet to get round to replying to my message, so this is the sort of help you get from Shpock. So the seller and Shock have my money and I have nothing. Please avoid - unless you have money to burn. It's just not worth it.

Shpock advertising con

They make money by allowing fake and fraudulent companies to advertise and sell via paid advertising. Hundreds of people have reported fraud by wwwHuiterr. Look on TrustPilot UK site.

Shpock is allowing scammers to create fake PS5 ads with no intention of selling a real product. Scammers have taken legit pictures off others with no water marks, receipts & then asking customers to pay with bank transfer or PayPal friends & families.

I bought 2 items ,I paid for the item but there was no explanation but the seller just cancelled the transaction, the next purchase I paid straight away then realised the seller had requested my address I don’t know why as it should have been provided by the website , I then gave address and the transaction was cancelled , as far as I can see there in no where to leave a review on the site .

This must be the worst site out there,,, all my items have been offered to buy by scammers,, I have informed spock every time and they have done nothing,, this site is a total sham full of thieves and con men,,, I suggest you never use this site as the company is lazy, do nothing and ignore you and like i said there is nothing but thieving scammers here...

Second time my account with Sphock has been restricted. Funnily enough this time last year also. Emailed this company 4 days ago and haven’t had a reply,
Buyers waiting to buy and complete a sale, unfortunately I can not access my account.

I was trying to sell some used items on my personal account. So Sphock please respond let’s have a explanation please.

Getting Sphock to communicate via email or telephone is impossible. When a genuine issue occurs no one wants to help resolve it. Just standard emails not offering any assistance with the problem. The email content is impractical and unhelpful. One to one contact is non existent.

The app doesn’t take reports on people seriously! And blocking people is near impossible. Alot of scams on here.

(Backstory)
My girlfriend has been selling on sphock since 2016/17. Had to make a new account when she lost her mobile and couldn't remember her password when downloading onto a new phone.

Was selling successfully including during lockdown. Her reviews were so trustworthy even during the early stages of the pandemic she would ask buyers to bank transfer 2mins before buzzing into the building for a contactless sale. Something most people would be wary of but my girlfriend ensured people she was an honest seller. She had one bad review for opting out of a sale after realising she was about to buy a furniture item that was of bad quality, the seller gave my GF a 3/5 stars but that did not change my GFs 5stars. She continued to sell more items.

She was ALWAYS detailed about defects and faults. We would always test items that had been gathering dust in the cupboard prior to listing.

My girlfriend listed a handheld portable carpet cleaner. Something we stopped using after getting vinyl flooring in the flat. She took photos of it and answered questions regarding it. RRP of item was £65 she listed for £35 as it was only used a handful of times before going in the cupboard. A lady who’s details we managed to get from shpock weeks after the indecent placed an offer for £20 my GF declined. The lady then sent another offer for the asking price seconds later which was abit odd - if you was happy to pay asking price why try haggle???. My GF accepted and asked when the woman would like to come and collect. The next day my GF sent the lady her postcode and asked to contact her when nearby to give building number. As this was a female i was happy for my GF to proceed with sale without me being there! The lady kept asking for address despite my GF giving it to her.

My GF was in the middle of painting when she got the message saying she was there (no actual time was given). She came downstairs with our daughter and greeted a rude ignorant woman who clearly had a problem with my GF before my GF opened her mouth. My girlfriend being bubbly said hello and asked if she was the person buying. The woman looked her up and down and asked if the item works - now forgive me if I’m wrong.. if you do not live in the area and had to take multiple busses to collect an item, would you not ask these questions before? Her occupation is a cleaner, so I’m guessing her urgent interest in the item was because it was an known brand- my Gf answered and the woman demanded my gf shows her right there and then if it works. The item needs water and solution to work as it sprays the dirty area then sucks up after being brushed by the brussles below! My girlfriend trying to explain that the woman began to “mmmmm hmmm” cutting her eyes and proceeding to take her money out to had to my GF. She then demands a plastic bag 😑 - again if you are on your way to collect an item would you not bring a bag? - she had a backpack on too. My girlfriend only had lifelong fabric bags that she paid for and uses for her shopping so ran upstairs frantically looking for one. She found one in our BIN luckily that was ripped but considering the rude woman demanded one my GF gave it to her. The woman then takes the bag and says “you sure it works” my gf said yes and she sarcastically tells my gf to enjoy her painting. Upon learning that the woman lives 30/45mins away but messaged my girlfriend within 20ins claiming the item does not work. Took photos of the item in her hand not a video of her trying to work it. Then proceeded to curse my GF out and refer to my daughter and how she will knock on every door till she finds my GF and shes on her way back now and “dont vex me” - even that sentence alone, you know what we are dealing with. So my girlfriend calls me - i dont answer as i am at work. She then replies to the woman saying if there is a problem let sphock know and let them deal with it in the appropriate manner and that she is an honest seller hence the good review feedback. The women then writes a bad review calling my girlfriend a scam artist not to buy anything and shes a thief!! This sends her rating right down so my girlfriend reports her.. does sphock do anything about it???? NO! My girlfriend contacts the police to make them aware there is a crazy woman threatening to turn up to the house at an unknown time (all this happened after 8/9pm). The issue sorts itself out but my GF messages sphock to try and retract the review that has basically f’d up her reputation on the site. She trys to block the woman but it wont let her before theres a “pending transaction”. She then decides to delete account but was not deleted when requested. All in all Shpock dont know how to deal with incidents. I NOW sell on her behalf, a tall 6’2ft male lets see if anyone with the same energy crosses paths with me.

I'm just giving everybody a heads up if you're going to do Spock bank transfer be careful because my money is been missing for over five months now

Sphock used to be a great selling platform but not anymore. You are constantly bombarded with emails from scammers just trying to obtain your details. The new app is awful and contacting any potential buyers is also impossible. The new format now charges you a fee to sell but there is little protection for any seller. Avoid and use an alternate online selling platform, it'll be much safer and yield more sales.

Complained about people selling animals that are banned from even having pets and nothing was done!!!! 9 emails not one reply they really dont give a damn about anything...in the hands of OFT now hope they get shut down bloody disgrace!!!!

I brought a sofa and had it about 2 weeks and the staples have started coming on the l bit of sofa sinks when you sit on it, i have contacted the seller and he keeps fobing me off telling me different days, i have now asked for my money back but doubt this is going to happen its very annoying!!!!

I bought bodymax adjustable weights from Jessica Bertrand on 22nd June 2020. I paid a partial deposit of £90 to Jessica Bertrands account) on 22nd June as I wanted to ensure I would receive the item. This has not been received as expected on 26th June. The last email from Jessica on the 23rd June assured me I would receive this item after she had received the money. It has now gone radio silent and I have had to report this to my bank and lodged a complaint with Sphock. I sympathize with everyone who might have been scammed especially disgusting as this time when everyone is hard pressed with cash. I will keep you updated but I am intent who getting my money back and hopefully Sphock might use my experience to rectify this situation and turn a corner because the feedback I've read hasn't been inspiring and it's so obvious why eBay and Amazon are leaders in customer service and customer experience.
