I just made a payment and I am regretting my decision immediately. I downloaded the trial version which was extremely slow but I thought maybe the actual version would at least work. The company took the payment happily after some confusing authentication messages during the payment (maybe my bank tried to warn me). But my account with Videoscribe says I don't have any subscriptions, so basically I can't do anything. The payment process is dubious and apparently, the only thing that works during the customer purchase journey is the collection of the payment. As soon as that's done and you are hooked, you may notice that you can't delete your card details and there is no way to find the button that says "stop any further future payments". I contacted their team which sent me an automated message saying they will get back during the weekdays. What a waste of my money, time and unnecessary stress it caused me. I hope someone responsible from the company will see this message and do something about it. If I don't hear back of course I will contact my bank to block this company from taking any payments from me.

they really make the automatic billing not apparent enough and the automatic billing should be changed in the customers own hands when they go to their own settings not when they are buying the products. Looking at the reviews it seems like I am not the only one. The fact that they are not changing says a lot

Sparkol has a great app and was very easy to use.

After speaking to sparkol and a mix up with membership, they rectified and gave me faith they are people centred.

Videoscribe by Sparkol is a great application. There’s a bit of a learning curve as with any software, but not too difficult if you can drag n drop. Customer service is also great with friendly, fast and efficient response to tickets.

WARNING. DO NOT Subscribe Videoscride, Sparkol. Debit your Card without enough notices.

I only received the invoice and they refused to cancel the payment. Will never use again.

You need to cancel your subscription in a few steps. The application asks a bunch of times if I want to buy a pro version when canceling a subscription (complete nonsense). Unless you end up canceling your subscription and using the product, customer support will not cancel your subscription or refund your money. I am very disappointed, do not buy this product.

I had to pay for a full license to test what they claimed I could do. But after 5 days I found I couldn't, now they won't refund me for an application that doesn't do what they said it could.

Under EU rules, a trader must repair, replace, reduce the price or give you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised.

If you bought a product or a service online or outside of a shop (by telephone, mail order, from a door-to-door salesperson), you also have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

If only we had read the Trustpilot reviews before purchasing...
Initially this software was okay and simple but the downsides quickly became clear. The cheap price entices you in but you soon discover a very limited interface and image library, if you wish to add additional graphics the prices are extortionate.
We encountered many bugs and freezes which caused crashes and loss of work, you will have to save extremely regularly.
Our business persevered for 3+ years because of our budget but if you can squeeze a little extra you might as well choose a more expensive option and pay for that extra functionality. Online video tools have come a long way in the last couple of years and far surpassed this product.

The worst part about Sparkol/Videoscribe is by far their customer service team. While our team was furloughed for a number of months this year we missed the subscription renewal and were unable to cancel. We were looking to leave the subscription anyway but the current business climate further impacted that decision. On returning to work and explaining the situation to their team, we were told it was entirely our fault for not cancelling earlier in the year and we had failed to manage our own subscription. Not only was there zero understanding but the responder even condescendingly explained to us how a subscription service works. Never have i experienced such a rude and arrogant team towards a long term customer.

horrible avoid them asap, i couldnt download a video 48 hours from now they don't have the text to speech version, they just want you to PAY! i have never encountered a software when you want exit, they tell do you want exits or become a PRO!

I don't understand how this software has good reviews. Are they paid reviews? it freezes, if I add a new image, it goes to the end of the thing and I have to drag it manually. the formatting changes very frequently if I try to format one thing, The audio is a joke and didn't even work for me .The more pictures I add the harder it gets to use the program, my computer battery is emptied within 1-2 hours and the machine gets very hot. All to animate and put words? To top it off, the words and pictures don't animate at the same time!!! You can only do one thing at a time so its a SLOW video. To be honest powerpoint is better than this, at least it doesn't have a lag and I can basically animate in there. As for FREE TRIAL, why would you put a giant watermark across the whole scribe during the free trial? oh let me guess, so I will buy your crappy product because the giant watermark is too annoying. NO REFUNDS! Do not recommend. you deserve better.

they wouldn't refund you even a day after purchase after finding out how crappy this software is, I would not recommend videoscribe or anything run by sparkle. its a trap. Plus you gotta pay maybe thousands to use the images they have

After trialling the software and paying for a year, turns out to be like something out of the Stone Age, and won't refund after just 6 days....If you decide to pay money for this, I would recommend paying by Credit Card so you have some recourse.

really bad customer service. we used this software only one week. but continue payment charging for 6 months. never use it again.

Used for a couple of weeks 1 year ago and did not realise you had to tick for annual ongoing subscription to buy 1 year of use. found the software clunky and not professional.

Terrible customer service.

The employee who used Sparkol left our company. The account was under his name. Sparkol automatically charged us a renewal (after sending renewal notices to an email account that was no longer active). When I disputed they basically said "too bad." It took them 5 days to send that response to me and they still haven't been able to send me an invoice for what they charged me. Terrible.

If you sign up, which I suggest you dont as there are other more reasonable products out there. Get off of annual renewal ASAP. And even if your credit car number has expired they will bill it anyway, I aml in the process of trying to get my funds back from VISA.
