Can’t find anyone that takes it. Complete scam. If no one takes the cards where is the money? I own this card since August It’s march 15th currently. Why did months go by and I can’t find anyone for a massage

OMG...don't buy these gift cards!
I was given two $50 gift cards. The spas listed close to me are almost all closed since COVID, and spafinder's site was not updated.
Instead, I opted to purchase products at their "store." Here's where it gets crazy: You get free shipping on purchases over $50.....BUT you can't enter more than one gift card...AND the total (including tax) can't go over the amount of the gift card. For me to use my $50 gift card, I would have to choose a $30 item (plus S&H and tax) to burn up the gift card. Then do it again with my other card. (You can't use a credit card to pay the difference either.)
So I was told to place two separate orders and pay shipping on both. Meaning my $100 in gift cards would equal about $60 in product.
I have spent about 2 hours now, online and on the phone. What was supposed to be a nice gift, belongs in the trash.

People, listen carefully Spa-Finder has become shady.. no spa can redeem

I received a few spa finder gift cards as gifts. I used two of the gift cards for pedicures at different places. Both pedicures took quite a while yet my feet were not smooth and the paint job was a hot mess.I have a normal salon I go to for pedicures that costs about half of what the places I went to through Spa Finder.

I don’t recommend Spa Finder at all. The fact that two totally different places did such a poor job that didn’t look professional at all is a red flag for me. I still have a balance on one card, I won’t be using it.

I have spent several hours and emails with the “customer service” and even the Operation Manager trying to get a spa finder card that has $50 that a client gave to me for payment of their services. This has been an ongoing issue since 1/23/24 and as of 2/5/24 I have not been issued a new card to the one that keeps being denied through my payment processing. The card has $50 on their I verified it several times however it keeps being declined and they give me so many excuses of why it’s happening and just won’t reissue a working card number to rectify the issue and let me receive my payment.
I am a business owner and pay a monthly fee to be on their website and to participate and accept the spa finders yet they are not holding up to their business contract and paying the business like they are supposed to.
This is unethical and fraudulent.

This company is a scam. On their website my gift card says it has $50. The spa websites do not recognize it. I called Spa Finder on the website, they routed me to second Spa Finder redemption number to call, who routed me to a third which was a robot and was not able to recognize the card. The worst gift experience, and the opposite of relaxing for the gift recipient. Do not waste your money on this. A class action lawsuit should be filed against this company for scamming American consumers.

UPDATE: Frustrating beyond imagination, persistence seems to have paid off and Spa Finder will refund the $50 that was not honored on their card. All I can say to anyone else, don't give up when something goes wrong. Don't become a victim. Be a warrior of the right thing.

As I continue to receive boiler-plate messages from SpaFinder via Trust Pilot with no real contact with them (they make it impossible), I will continue to write here how inaffective their customer service really is. My original complaint was filed on 12/30/23 after experience with Nail Garden in Encino on 12/29/23… who has also not responded. Nice rip-off on both of their parts on top of being rude by ignoring me.

I purchased a surprise gift for my cousin in Las Vegas 200dollar gift card , 16th Dec .. As of yet she has not received it , I got No ORDER NO JUST A THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE.. I have contacted customer service nobody has responded so my cousin in Las Vegas has made 3 phone calls to them .. they want an order no !!!! Yet I didn’t get one .. another phone call we have given them transaction ids , invoice nos and they say they cannot locate my purchase. The strangest thing is when the payment has left my bank it is set up as a direct debit !
What an utterly useless company with no customer service support. Fraudulent on top of that !!! Would not recommend and my cousins surprise gift is ruined !

I would give zero stars if possible. It proved impossible to purchase a digital Spafinder gift card online as a Christmas gift. My credit cards were repeatedly declined, several of them instantaneously - which means the decline was NOT from the bank, but from Spafinder itself. I never received any "fraud alert" notices from the banks involved, either. So the idea that the charges were legitimately declined doesn't fly. Will never try to use this company again.

Dont touch this company. Total waste of Money.
Given as a gift. The Spafinder web site is useless when looking where to use the card.
Phoning customer service is also a waste of time. They don't answer.
Reading other similar reviews I would say this is a scam.

Horrible experience. Tried buying e-gift cards online multiple times and the order kept getting canceled due to their "screening system" despite my information all being correct and the payments successfully going through to my card (to later be refunded). I called customer service whose only advice was to create an account and try different cards, which I did, and all my orders still kept getting canceled. Got transferred to at least 4 different agents who had the exact same script and then told me they weren't able to see the reason why my orders were canceled so there was nothing they could do. Assured me the screening process and their inability to access any helpful information is for "security reasons" but what the heck why would you make it this difficult for somebody to just pay for your services. Eventually got told to just buy a physical gift card but nobody could tell me where they're sold. Wish I could give 0 stars. 4 days of hassle just for nothing!

I just redeemed my Spafinder gift card at Bodysense in Miami. My massage was great, I was able to cover both treatment and tip with it. I highly recommend this spa! The card was a gift (thanks hubby) and it was MUCH needed.

If I could, I would rate 0 stars. I have 4 gift cards and don't know what to do with them. I wanted to buy products from their site, however the total amount cannot exceed the card value and you can pay with only 1 card. If my total order is over $50 I cannot use 2 cards to pay for my order. I reached out to customer service and was told to go to local spa and buy products from them, they may have capability to split the charges. What a nonsense, relying on local/smaller businesses to have such functions and the originators don't. I will scream if someone gifts me another spa finder card. The worst gift. I am sure there is a lot of re-gifting because of that.

Would give this a zero if I could. Received a £100 gift voucher from spafinder wellness 365. Contacted the telephone number - wrong number. Emailed multiple times, no reponse.

A family member gave me a gift card. It was activated. Spa finder directs you online to their spafinder shop. I put alot of items in cart but no feature to use card to make a payment. The agent of spafinder tried it and said I was right. So the issue isn't about activation issues, it's a spafinder website they refuse to fix. As of today they are trying to ignore refund. How can you use a activated card that is not working on their own store. The agent I spoke to today refuses to accept what the real problem is. They would rather send these bogus emails than call you back like they said they would. It's 10-3,-23. If they don't give the refund for the card I will be contacting bbb, then consumer complaint, spafinder CEO then if no refund My friend on CBS News.

Horrible. Places on the website don't actually take the spafinder cards. After THREE calls to customer service and being told they would be refunded, they still have not. However, you can use your card at livelovespa and at least get something. Not that you want any of that stuff. . . we want our spa time. . .but you can at least not be out the money. Seems like any business worth their salt is getting away from these cards!

I was given spafinder gift cards (2 of them) but there is no place in my area that takes them. I call customer service and she looked online and gave me the same useless information and claimed that there was nothing she could do. I called to ask for help but received nothing (after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes for someone to answer) my advice, buy a gift card from an actual place. This is a scam.

This is a waste of money. Similar to other users my card could not be redeemed and ending up paying 300 dollars out of pocket. The website will list vendors that actually do not accept the card - so if you have one make sure to try and redeem it BEFORE your service or you will end up embarrassed at check out with an angry stylist and have to pull out your credit card. Also another word of warning - EVEN if the vendor says they accept the card ONLY certain stylists do so double/triple check. People also treat you like a second class citizen trying to save money if you mention the card.

Tried to use it at the spa and it wouldn't go through so ended up paying the full amount. Went on-line today and it said I had a $0 balance. Called and spoke to a John who told me that it would be 7 to 10 days before they figure it out and he didn't know if the money would go to the spa or back on my card. At the risk of sounding like a Karen, John was INCREDIBLY rude and condescending. He wouldn't give me a reason why this was happening - I just had to wait and see. There was more to his rudeness but you could tell he didn't give a crap what was wrong. Hoping I get my money back. Will never use again because of the customer service.

I have a Spafinder paper voucher that my daughter gave to me as a gift and I am trying to locate where I can use it in the uk. It seems it is useless and my daughter has wasted her money. Please advise why a voucher that promises massage, facials, yoga and more and has no expiry date written on it is useless to me. Why are these being allowed to be purchased in good faith by the general public and yet not delivering on the service its promising.
