Initially appointment for Keratoses.
Initially my appointment was for Keratoses, but I also mentioned a leg problem, swelling and redness.
Dr Hodder thoroughly checked the Keratoses and also the leg as part of the consultation, and then issued a prescription for treatment for both problems.

Amazing Clinic
I cannot recommend Southface Dermatology Clinic highly enough. I have used the clinic for nearly 15 years for all my treatments, seeing Nurse Sharon and Nurse Amanda.
I would not want to go anywhere else, they are the ultimate professionals and have so much knowledge and expertise. They offer such a wide range of treatments.

Dr Helen was very professional yet friendly at consultation. Nurse Amanda was similarly efficient, understanding and comforting during treatment whilst receptionists were always welcoming. Altogether an experience I do not want to repeat and thankfully, due to the treatment will not have to. Thank you all.

I feel very disappointed in my visit
I feel very disappointed in my visit , last week . I paid £290 and I was hoping for a diagnosis on my problem. Dr Hodder didn’t know what my problem was and said he would write to my doctor and me with his thoughts . He hasn’t done so. I’m a pensioner and a widow and I feel very unhappy about having wasted my money

We appreciate how frustrating it can be when a clear diagnosis is not immediately available, particularly when symptoms have been causing significant discomfort. During your consultation, a detailed assessment was carried out, including a review of your medical history, current symptoms, examination findings, and discussion of potential causes and next steps.
We would also like to clarify that the clinic letter had been prepared and was awaiting final approval before being sent to both you and your GP. As your appointment took place within a week of your review, this falls within our normal processing timeframe.
We are disappointed to receive such a low rating given the time and care invested in your consultation and the comprehensive plan that was put in place. However, we take all feedback seriously and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.
