Utterly dreadful.
Ordered a dress that looked beautiful. What arrived was awful, poor quality and the kind of material that you would not want to walk near a naked flame wearing. Immediately emailed requesting a return and refund.
Rather than authorising the refund I was then offered an exchange, then offered a credit note for more than I paid for the dress and then this email……….

Thank you for being straight with me, I would rather you tell me plainly than feel fobbed off.
You are welcome to return the piece for a refund, and I want to be upfront about what that involves so you can weigh it properly. Our orders are fulfilled internationally, so the return postage and any customs or handling charges would be at your own expense, and the refund is issued once the piece has arrived back with our fulfilment partner and been checked. In practice that usually costs more than customers expect and takes a few weeks end to end.
Because of that, what I would like to offer you instead is 110% store credit, so a little more than you paid. There is nothing to post back and nothing to pay, and you keep the piece you have to pass on or use as you like. So you know exactly what you would be accepting, the credit is not cashable and can only be used on our website.
If the credit works for you, just reply with a yes and I will apply it today so you can use it straight away. If you would still rather send the item back, tell me and I will talk you through the conditions and what happens next.
