Sorry for so long, but it was the WORST thing I could have done. This was very important to me. I was wanting to do something different and exciting to reconnect with my wife. We both love music, all genres. I wanted to be just like the ads.
First I picked the artist. I will not mention names. It was a higher fee than the other artists. Many many options to choose from. I shared my details, probably too many, that's on me. I was told how long it would take, and I received the lyrics just days before the time line.
I read the words. Seemed fine. What do I know right? But they looked fine and expressed my thoughts. I received the song on the exact time and day specified. Kinda weird to me. Like very scheduled which for artists is not what I would think. Like it was planned perfectly and is that song writing or AI. Idk. When I heard the song, I just laughed, literally laughed in disbelief at what I was getting, and felt horrible. I couldn't understand the singer. The melody was the same thing and same sound, same notes over and over. His voice was way country and twng like a Gary Allen sound which is fine for the right song. But Wasn't what I heard on the samples for sure. And I like country. I like all music genres. But this was just horrible. I couldn't believe I paid $300 for it. It seemed very poor quality. Felt it was very basic and generic and took 5 minutes. I could have done better and saved myself the money and heartache using smaller platforms. I even feel like it wasn't real. Idk. Hard to explain. But one thing for sure, every person I let listen to it just looked at me with a weird funny look and laughed, like it was a joke. I called customer service and all they said was to contact the artist. And I get that. But how do you explain to an artist or singer you DON'T KNOW yet you paid for something, yet you also don't want to just tell them how bad they were or that everyone that listen to it thought it was cheap and hard to listen to. I mean I couldn't do it. I can't even explain how it was so bad, just it was and everyone, I mean everyone agreed. Just had no heart and the rhythm and timing was so monotone and the same notes over and over. I am angry. No other options given. Just email the artist they said. Do I even trust the system and the ads showing all these artists trying to make it. And if they are trying to get by, how can I just tear this guy down complaining. I couldn't. So that's on me. $300 gone. They don't care and I could complain and try again and try to professionally tell this guy to change it, but I'm not a musician, and no idea how to explain music. I did let my wife hear it and tried to make it a surprise, but when she heard it, she didn't know what it was, couldn't really understand the words and when I explained she tried to be nice and kind, but was just a bad bad experience, awkward and bad decision. Way to much money to gamble and hope you get something like the commercials they show. Stick with cheaper sources. Wish I had. Long review I know but it's my feelings. It was a waste of money and time. And complaining will do no good. They don't care. Embarrassing to even show her. And it's over.

This is my second time buying a song from Songfinch and it was a great experience . Songfinch provides sample artists to listen to and choose from, and I am so glad we chose Alyssa . She responded immediately via the Songfinch message system when she heard my song request, and she reviewed my lyrics suggestions. She then provided her first draft of the song, and only went on to sing it when she’d received my approval. The final song’s words and melody that we received after just one week of placing our order are genuinely beautiful. My husband likes the song so much that he said, ‘I’d buy that if it was in the charts’. It will definitely be a very special gift for our daughter’s birthday .

This was the worst experience!!! I wanted the song to be a part of my proposal and I ordered it 10 days ahead (with the promise to have a ready song in 7 days). My artist did not start working on the song till 1 day before the due date. then on the due date asked for more time saying she had an accident. We agreed on the song delivery a day before my proposal in the morning. when I followed up, the artist told me she'd have it in by 5pm that day. The next day the song was not available. I proceeded with my proposal without it. The song was still not available even 24h after the extended agreed upon date. I kept contacting the support center with no response at all (despite them stating they are available 7 days a week). I sent off multiple emails with concerns and request for a refund and have not heard anything back. When I woke up today, the song claimed to be delivered last night, but NONE of the lyric changes that were agreed upon were incorporated!! this is a huge ass SCAM!! do not pay them any money.

Absolute garbage. The song sucked, not AI can do these for like 2 bucks in other places. Never doing this again with songfinch.

I followed the steps outlined on the site. within 3-4 days the artist reached out with the lyrics. I noticed an incorrect word. I sent the details to their customer service team. I had a response and a correction in 2 hours. The artist recorded the song and I was sent a heads up to review. The song he penned for our 40th wedding anniversary was perfect. It was a blend of romance and humor. Exactly what I had asked for. I'd highly recommend especially over the AI generated song sites.

The original song was nothing like I expected, so I wrote my own lyrics with a specific request that those lyrics be taken into consideration and a song be made from them. I received updated lyrics, they weren't my favorite but I was running out of time so they would do. Then I received the recorded song with the lyrics I sent verbatim, with the typo and all! They refuse to fix it without may paying them an additional $100. The artist had a beautiful voice, but the customer service sucks. There is a no refund policy, that I didn't even look at. It said satisfaction guaranteed, so I didn't even look. Go to the other site to get a song done. It is a little less expensive AND they are much easier to work with. They don't even make you pay for the full song up front because they believe in working with their people.

I hate this song. Literally, I asked for revisions and was sent the same some. I spent $350 for a song that is terrible. DO NOT waste your money. I wish I could get my hard earned money back.

By the time I actually got to receive my song, the 48 hours to review it was already up. This would be fine except there was a grammatical error in the song, which was a big deal for the person the song was made for. I tried to get business rights to the song, so I can post it on my social media and fix the error in the song, which they said they'd do. Fast forward to finally paying for the business license only for them to tell me they cannot fix the grammatical error because the artist no longer works for them (since before I even made the request to edit the song). Why would I buy additional license for a song that has an error that can't be fixed? They did cancel my business license order, but I still have a song I paid $250 for that bugs me when I hear that part with the grammatical error. The company doesn't seem to care about the client's satisfaction with the finished song.
I should mention that I did otherwise like the song in question, and I think the artist overall did well. My 1-star is for the outcome and the overall experience with Songfinch staff/policy.

Things to improve:
-extend the time to make edits to 1 or 2 weeks at least (unless the goal is to make money from errors or edits)
- let the client preview the lyrics before it is recorded, this should help minimize errors (unless the goal is to make money from errors or edits)
-when client pays you $50 for you to stream their song to spotify, don't paywall that song so that now they have to pay to listen to the song they paid you to stream.
-if the artist heavily uses the client's own words, an extended license should be granted to the client whose words the artist used!

Not sure how good the song is as I cannot gain access to it. The ridiculous log in process is rubbish, I only hope the song is better. In ordering the added and extra verse and something else, they wouldn't reply to my complaint. Terrible service so far..

When I read the ratings here, I thought I'd made a massive mistake but I honestly couldn't be happier with my song by Jane from Texas.

It's for my husband's 60th birthday and 10th wedding anniversary and is worth every penny.

The customer service was fantastic.

I can't fault a single thing.

I've got a beautiful bespoke song which reflects our love and relationship perfectly within less than a week.

Hello, I saw an ad for this company and thought this would be a perfect gift for my husband for our 4th wedding Anniversary. Before I even picked which type of song I wanted (custom or instant) I wanted to understand better the differences. So I emailed them my questions. I had a great customer experience with a man named Vinny O . He was very knowledgeable and broke down how instant song and custom songs were different and how each one worked. I had some more questions and asked them. Again Vinny always got back with me promptly. Long story short I went with custom song. I absolutely LOVE it. The song so fits with our dating/ wedding /and what I love about my husband. When I heard the first version of the song I was blown away. I really liked how the artist created the song, but the song needed a couple little tweaks here and there. I asked to remove a couple of words / lyrics and put in ones I thought would work slightly better. when I got the newer version it was more on point but, I wished the song was longer, so I did do an add on with more verses/lyrics. When you do this you can type in the extra details or words. When I got the new song with more lyrics I was amazing and it made me cry. This song definitely is perfect for us. Vinny recommended I start early for picking the artist that I wanted. Our anniversary is in May but I started reaching out in March.2025. The final product was done in April 7th. 2025. I also purchased the lyrics to the song so I can print them out and fame them and I also bought the CD as well so my husband can play it in the car. I am really glad I started early.I feel it gives you time to change things if the song isn’t right the first time. And that’s okay if it isn’t perfect the time. I also had a small problem with the song sample. When I listened to it, it was great expect it didn’t sound like the artist wasn’t fully saying the word or it sounded like she just paused for too long and went to the other words of the song. I let the company know. They were on it fast and the next time I listened to it the issue had been corrected. There was also a small grammar issue with lyrics that I noticed while reading it through. I again notified the company and again they quickly fixed the grammar. Throughout the process I had a Million questions and I got them all answered. My experience with is company has been amazing. I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to share the song with my husband this May . My music artist that I picked was Emily Kelly. My husband loves country so that is why I picked her. Earlier I listened other singers but I felt Emily Kelly was the best fit for what kind of song I was looking for. She created and crafted a beautiful song with the information and stories I had given her . She also knew how to incorporate the extra information about us and seamlessly put it in the song. I hope everyone has an experience like I had . I will add one extra thing because I know this is a long review to read. I feel you should try and stick to stuff you really want in the song or are the most important to you. Make sure you give the artist some good stuff to choose. Because it will make it that much more meaningful to the person getting the song.

Paid over $400 for song. 24hrs. All day said submission received... Then saw email artist not available order paused... Not on my account but in an email. No refunds and no idea when or if I'll ever get it.

Very poor overall, I paid for an extra verse where a chorus just seemed to be repeated. I gave lots of personal information about us as a couple and background to our journey but nearly all was ignored and genetic impersonal sentiment ‘insert here’ love song lyrics were largely used.

The song was rushed and received much sooner then needed, I was unable to access the song during production due to their 2 code verification which would not work for me and no option to simply register with a password to access the song/account.

I contacted their support email about this and also shortly after about my dissatisfaction with the song received. Whilst they initially offered to help and correct with the artist and I provided all recommended suggestions and improvements, including voice clips and corrections of place names said incorrectly in the song, no further response was received after they advised the updated version would return within 4-7days.

Further emails sent to chase the process ahead of our anniversary date when the song order was first placed for, but no reply to emails over 3 days.

Extremely disappointing service and purchase overall. I’m still currently waiting on a reply from the business.

I just purchased a song from Songfinch. The worst song EVER.
They messed up the words, music was off, and couldn't understand the words because they blended.
I looked up my songwriter Notella. When I found a song by Notella "Show you I love you (Macy) on their sight.
I recorded it to show proof to anyone who wants it, and matched it to my song I paid to have done original. Same song!!!
I'm pissed it's AI generated!

The instant songs are a bait and switch. It prompts you to choose a name from the database for pronunciation and you can edit spelling. The name will show in your preview but after you pay, the song you are sent will not have a name it it. Also every advertised discount doesn’t apply to instant songs, even though the site prompts you to use it on your instant song.

I was able to get a refund which I did appreciate, but the company only did this after I pressed and accused them of cheating me. The song was nice but not what I paid for and kind of blew the planned surprise you see on all the ad videos when they hear their name. It makes the song much more generic.

The song was horrible. What was intended to be a sweet love you song was a mess. Nothing personal about it, bad lyrics and melody. Great singing voice and a good laugh a but that was about it

Buyer beware. If you don't like what they produce. Your are out of luck and you will be out >$200. You cant interact with the artist. Basically it's a one shot deal.
Support will simply ignore you and keep asking you what the problem is. Go to their competitors they are cheaper and offer a guarantee.
Update. These people have stopped all communication and refuse to address any issues.
