Solo Car Sales Marbella
They sell cars in really bad shape. I had the misfortune of buying a Peugeot 208 (from Dec 2021) with really poor steering. The steering wheel gets stuck when I make soft turns, which makes the driving very unstable. I should have noticed this when I tested the car, but to be fair, I only had it on the highway for one minute or so. Regardless, they shouldn’t sell cars in such condition while claiming they are in good shape.
When I took the car to a certified Peugeot mechanic (Guerrero Car - Marbella), they confirmed there was a mechanical problem with the steering. However, they were unable to provide a solution. Solo Cars, instead of taking responsibility, simply referred me to the general guarantee, Gestionline. Despite Nikolay from Solo Cars' assurance that the guarantee covers practically everything, Gestionline refused to cover the issue.
Additionally, it’s important to thoroughly inspect the car for any cosmetic issues you want fixed before purchasing. While they did repair many scratches and damaged seats, I later discovered a cigarette burn mark on the ceiling above the driver's seat that I hadn’t noticed earlier. When I asked if they knew someone who could fix it, they promised to get back to me, but they never did.
So, if you decide to buy a car from Solo Cars, be prepared for smooth-talking salesmen who preach moral values. However, once the sale is finalized and the money has been transferred, their aftersale service is nonexistent. This is the light version of the issues that have occurred during the buying process. A very poor experience, unfortunately
