Very disappointing first experience with Soldeli.

I placed Soldeli Order and spending over £150, specifically because I had arranged a sushi meal with friends. We planned the meal around the expected delivery and were all looking forward to it.

However, the parcel was not delivered at all due to a DPD delivery issue. As a result, we were left with nothing on the day, which caused significant inconvenience, embarrassment, and disappointment.

Although Soldeli arranged a refund, no compensation or goodwill gesture was offered. A refund simply returns the money I had already paid — it does not compensate for the wasted time, the disrupted plans, or the embarrassment caused when my friends had been invited over for a sushi meal and there was no food delivered.

I understand that DPD may have caused the delivery failure, but as a customer I ordered from Soldeli, not directly from DPD. For food items, especially sushi and chilled/frozen products, reliable delivery is essential.

Unfortunately, this first order has left a very poor impression. I would have expected Soldeli to offer at least a discount code, store credit, or some form of goodwill gesture given the level of inconvenience caused.

Very disappointing service overall.

I’ve ordered from them multiple times over the past year, mainly salmon and other sashimi, usually in bulk. In the first few orders, about half the packs were mediocre — not great, but acceptable. However, my recent orders have been extremely disappointing. The salmon sashimi had no fat at all. I won’t be ordering from them again and will be trying other places.

bought food to be delivered just 3 days before my father travels back to home country, first a whole day delay, then next only to message to say food is destroyed and cannot be sent. and now i am still waiting for their reply request on refund.

Soldeli used to be good but not anymore. They've advertised that their Secret Santa offer worth £50 but eventually they only delivered items with total price around £30. The chopped Sashimi looks dirty with blood inside the package. There was also a missed item in the delivery. Fortunately, customer service acted quickly for the refund - the only good thing in this experience.

I’ve placed several orders, mainly for sashimi, and so far everything has been great. The items arrived on time and were well frozen.
I have sent an enquiry by email before and received their response in the next day that sorted it.
I’m satisfied with the quality and reliability of the service.

I had a very disappointing experience with my sashimi order. The delivery arrived a day later than scheduled, which raised concerns about safety and hygiene. Is the sashimi still safe to eat after being delayed for over a day? I tried reaching out to Soldeli via phone and email, but I received no response. Overall, I am frustrated with the poor service and lack of communication.

Ordered frozen ikura; it is of excellent quality and value, was delivered on designated date in an ice box on time, very happy with the product and service.

My husband had vomited for a few times after eating their salmon fish.

Great service, very high quality fish.

Order from them for my wife birthday party and last minute say order will not be deliver. They can either refund or replace another order which can deliver by next week!

Ordered for 20 peoples birthday party last month but delayed one week delivery we have to rushing go shopping for the party, not happy with that we rather pay a bit more money buy from another store next time to be fair customer service is good.

Very good quality and price! Everything about this shop is great, from delivery to packaging, quality to taste! Decent selection of sashimi suitable fish. My wife is Japanese and she totally agrees. I've made several orders and have not been disappointed yet.

Beautifully fresh ingredients delivered quickly - made for a special Christmas during trying times. They even made my fathers birthday very special although we could not see each other. will use again
