Actual product was great but I wanted to change it so I emailed the company literally after I ordered. No one responded and the original product arrived. The product is good, customer service is non existent

Great gift caused many laughs, well worth money

An extremely disappointing experience - We ordered a Snugzy for a special Birthday - the advertising showed images of people holding their Snugzys that looked very like them - good clear images of their faces with correct colouring and tones - very convincing likenesses. We uploaded a good quality photo to the Snugzy website (a professionally taken photo from a wedding) and we matched the skin tone on the hands and neck of the Snugzy to the skin tone of that photo. I took a screenshot of what our resulting Snugzy should look like - should have looked great. We paid extra for a faster delivery and our Snugzy arrived within a couple of days. So disappointing, the image on the face of the Snugzy was awful; apart from the fact that the skin tone on the hands and neck was nothing like the skin tone on its face, the face looked like it had fallen asleep under a sun lamp and was now blotchy reds and browns in colour - nothing like the image of a pale face that we had uploaded. Truly awful. There was an order confirmation sheet that arrived with the snugzy and the image shown on that was very like the image we had originally uploaded, and very unlike the Snugzy that we had received. I contacted Snugzy via email and got a very encouraging reply quite quickly - I sent them photos of what I had received, the original photo, and the photo on the order sheet. The customer service seemed good and they told me that they would get a new Snugzy made and sent out to me via next day delivery. We heard nothing more from them for a few days so I contacted them again and received a quick reply assuring me that they would deal with this and get the new Snugzy to me using a next day delivery. I have received two email requests from them for me to write a review during the past couple of weeks, but have held back from writing this so that I could give them an accurate review once the issues with our order has been dealt with properly - unfortunately, despite contacting them on several occasions and being sent responses assuring me that they would get my order re-made correctly and sent to me by next day delivery, I have had no further contact from them for a week now. The occasion the product was intended for had come and gone so any delight and surprise that we had hoped for has been missed. It seems that their replies by email gave me false hope that the Snugzy company really did care about customer satisfaction, and intend to quickly address the issues and correct my order but now I don’t believe that to be the case. I feel totally fobbed off by Snugzy; just words but no real intentions or actions to back those words up. I have emailed them again today but I now feel that I will receive another empty promise. Such a shame, a promising idea but it looks like their printing equipment and techniques are not up to the job, and their customer care has no substance. Had this item fulfilled its promise we would definitely have ordered more on future occasions, but sadly this has been a bad experience and I could not recommend Snugzy to anyone.
