I booked this company in to do a survey just after we moved in and I’m so glad I did. They found a mountain of issues, quite a few of them serious such as leaks, damp and mould. It was a pretty big list. His ongoing support was well needed as our developer wasn’t playing ball. They re-visited to have an onsite meeting with the site manager and helped us throughout the entire process to ensure everything was done and even came back to do a re-inspection to ensure it was all done to a good standard. I highly recommend!

I first contacted Jamie well ahead of our intended move to a David Wilson new-build and he couldn't have been more helpful with his early advice. Again, after occupation, he was reliable and prompt with his snagging survey and further advice which has been absolutely invaluable in getting some larger issues to be heard and properly addressed by David Wilson's site team. They too, were so impressed by Jamie's detailed report, and how it allowed them to easily prepare task lists for the various trades, that they asked for his contact details with a view to recommending Jamie to other new occupants. Thoroughly recommended by both myself AND the builders! I think that says it all really and we look forward to his included second inspection in a few months time!

Further more not only do you receive your individual tailored report but he also does all the pictures, write up’s, references, tags, labels, puts it all into an email and pdf for all parties involved. Couldn’t be easier. When dealing with these new build houses with issues or defects they expect you to log down each & every defect supported by pictures & a wrote up etc, well by using Jamie’s service it meant all this is done for you, fully covered & backed up with supporting evidence too.

Furthermore, Jamie has remained readily accessible for any questions or concerns I had post-survey. His responsiveness and willingness to assist, even after the initial inspection, exceeded my expectations & still continues currently whilst my process is ongoing. It's rare to find such a professional who is so dedicated to ensuring their clients' satisfaction.

Thanks to Jamie's expertise and astonishing aftercare, I now have peace of mind knowing that my new home will be free from defects and built to the highest standards & the correct standards. I cannot recommend Jamie enough. He has been absolutely fantastic. He found so many issues in my new house that I never would have even known to look for or noticed. His support is ongoing and it’s the best money I have spent in this whole process. Unfortunately a lot of these new houses are now rushed and built to a poor standard so I would strongly encourage anyone to have a snagging survey done, especially with Jamie.

I am absolutely delighted with the entire snagging process carried out by Jamie. His professionalism and precise understanding of what needed attention were truly commendable. He unearthed a few issues that I could have regretted in the future if not for the snagging process. I am thoroughly impressed with the way he crafted the report . We moved to our Charles Church Yardley in December 2022 , we actually moved in late February 2023 after Jamie had snagged our house as it was so bad and had 600 defects , Jamie stuck to his word the fee was the same even though he was in our property nearly six hours ! Can’t rate him highly enough unfortunately a year down the road we are still not at a satisfactory end and work is still ongoing. Don’t leave it to trust get your new home snagged the day you move in.

We got in touch with Jaime after some significant issues with our new build. I’m so impressed with the attention to detail of the snagging. The list was comprehensive and he was so helpful with our questions about what to pursue the developers for. He also went out of his way to purchase a piece of equipment for us to borrow and monitor vibrational noise. We will definitely be using the follow up service offered, once the developer has corrected all the issue to ensure it’s been done properly. I can’t recommend this company highly enough!

I instructed New Home Snagging in July and my house had a wealth of fairly serious issues. My cladding had been painted, voiding the maintenance free warranty, I had internal walls out of square, stairs that weren’t level and the desktop study showed my boundary fence had been put in the wrong place. These issues are among many smaller ones. Jamie worked tirelessly when I felt the developer wasn’t being responsive. He attended a site meeting with the site manager and came back to do several inspections to make sure the work was done properly. My cladding was changed, and aside from the internal wall being out of square my list has been completed. I opted to not have the wall corrected due to the amount of work involved, and instead Jamie negotiated a £4K settlement in return for not rectifying the wall. All of his visits was included in the original price. I cannot recommend this company enough. Service provided was second to none and well worth the cost. Especially considering I received £4K in return.

I’ve been really impressed with New Home Snagging. Jamie was so helpful and knowledgeable about the regulations that us mere mortal have no clue about. He found 28 problems with my new build!! The report was comprehensive with photos for me to send to the builders. They didn’t have a leg to stand on. The after service is superb and he’s been available to speak to quickly and will do a follow up appointment to check the builders have put everything straight. Without this report I would have ended up with thousands of pounds worth of work in the future long past the end of the warranty period. I cannot stress enough how important a proper snagging report is. I can’t recommend New Home Snagging enough. Worth their weight in gold.

My partner and I was scepitcal at first about a snagger visiting our new build property as we thought "Surely, what could be wrong as it is a new build?!". After our developers were so against us going ahead with one we knew it would be the correct thing to do. 84 issues later we knew we had made the correct decision. Jamie has been professional throughout and has most definitely gone the extra mile. The major repairs I had carried out were the following; We had a leak under the bath and it most likely would have taken us a while to notice it! The entirety of the outside cladding to my house was replaced as the developer painted it and in doing so voided the warranty. A new kitchen counter top because of the join you could have fit a one pence piece in between it. A new front door as it was bowed at the top and bottom. A whole new fence to one side of the property due to the poor quality of the initial fence had holes in it, different coloured panels and generally wasn't sturdy. We had a painter / filler in the property for four days to cover marks on the walls, skirting and ceiling. Our internal wall was fitted by the dryliners diagonally which we are still currently waiting for a repair / replacement. We are also in talks with the developer about getting the rear garden ripped up due to being able to put a 30 cm ruler down each side of the reals of turf from where the turf wasn't not initially compressed enough however that is still pending. To summarise due to the quality of finishes with the new builds, certainly more so with the bigger developers as it is just a numbers game to them the money we paid to have Jamie initially snag our property has been recouped and some from the faults found. We have been so pleased with our experience that a family relative in a year or so's time will be moving into a new build property and we have already recommended Jamie for that.

This service was fantastic and we definitely got x10 plus back in value for the price we paid. The survey was thorough and found 41 faults with our new build house that we would not of had the professional capability to do ourselves.

We booked New Build Snagging after being let down at the last minute by another company, Jamie worked hard to fit us in and managed to come out to us within 24 hours, and we are glad he did, our bath waste wasn’t connected so that could have been a disaster. Very pleased with the service provided and the report was sent the same day. We are impressed that the service includes ongoing support and a free inspection after. All in all good value for money.

Jamie was referred to us by a neighbour, and after ringing him he was out to us within 2 days, with the day being a bank holiday as well!
Jamie was very friendly, knowledgable and thorough. Jamie found issues that we were not aware of and which has enabled us to go back to our developer and request for remedial work / compensation.
Jamie was also able to flag safety issues which included a fire hazard which needed immediate attention.
Jamie has continued to support us with dialogue we are having to have with our developers and I am impressed with his level of service and professionalism. We certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the future (in fact we already have recommended him to a neighbour!)

We moved into our new house this week and we arranged the snagging only two days before. Jamie was really accommodating especially at such short notice. He arrived early in the morning even before we got to the house and started working on the outside straight away including drone to review the roof etc. The snagging took a number of hours and during the visit he explained everything. This is really helpful especially to someone who doesn’t know the pitfalls of a new build. Having spent so much on a new house it was really reassuring to have someone you feel you can trust to give sound, honest advice and also support. His rates were really reasonable, timekeeping is great and follows up on what he says. He provides a full report including photos and clear descriptions on areas of snagging. There were quite a few snags including plumbing issues that were only found after her took the bath cover off and would have caused huge issues if not identified. He said he will also support if we get any knock back from the developer once we submit the report. All together a professional, friendly as well as necessary service at a good price.
