I have really enjoyed singing for the last few years on this app. The most recent update as totally gone and spoilt the fun not just for me but for everyone.

They have ruined a fun app for singing, don't want to pay to be there anymore 🗿

The last update ruined completely this app....not thinking to renew my subscription.

I have been singing on Smule for 4 years now and have enjoyed every one of the 17000 songs I have sung. Until now with this latest update that is terrible. I don't want to sing on this site any more and I am very sad and disappointed and hope very much that they roll back this latest update and revert back to what it was 😪

I have really enjoyed smule until recently.
I loved being able to edit my voice and sound to how I wanted as well as changing the level of volume to contribute to my song. Sometimes I would do self-collabs or group collabs with my friends that we can edit our voices and add more harms or whatever we wanted. I also have a group on the app for voice acting and we love it. Only issue is this new update took that away. Today I was recording a Voice acting project with my friend, I need to edit my voice so there is no reverb or echo, as if we are talking in the same room, but after I finish and send it through, I decided to listen to find out that it somehow saved WITH AN ECHO. I deleted and decided to try again, but again it saved WITH ECHO. I know for a fact that I did not save with echo or set my settings to it (even screen recorded to show my friends I did not saved with incorrect settings). I tried to record one more time with absolute no setting (there's an option to set to none) so there should be no added reverb or echoing effects. Then I sent it through to relisten and here AGAIN MORE ECHO. I got frustrated and stopped. I have no idea who's idea it was to add this to smule but it took away one of things that I loved most about smule. I have been using this app for 2-3 years now, why the sudden change?

Had a lot of fun on Smule but have never subscribed.
So often when you subscribed to something online it’s difficult to stop payments being taken when you unsubscribe.Had to in the pass cancel my credit card and wait for a new one.Do these people realise how much revenue they lose for this type of behaviour.l was thinking about subscribing to Smule but so many negative comments has put me off.l shall just carry on and join others for free.

I rather love Smule, as it's a great way to sing a song and relax. Moreover, I'm glad that I'm based in Russia and have Android phone - and the subcription price is way lower than for a lot of other users.
However, I think that for the ideal state it lacks social interaction moments

I was under the impression it was £9.99 a month but I was charged £9.99 a week even after I had unsubscribed. Had to contact google play to ensure that subscription was cancelled and I was no longer going to be charged. False advertising and taking extra payment without consent dont reccomend this app at all.

Terrible!!! From the moment you install the App they start charging you and the payment will be taken within (in my case) 5 days. Do yourself a favour and don’t go anywhere near this awful company. I have never installed an App before when they can charge you without actually telling you this and surely this is wrong! I will keep sharing the negative comments as from what I’ve read, they are ripping people off constantly.

I have not much negative to say. Yes, sometimes minor issues due to slow servers but overall I have since a little over 3 years a great experience with Smule.

SCAM! This app is a scam and a payment trap. Once they have got your card details you will have to cancel your card and report them for fraud because there is no way to contact them and no way to cancel the subscription on Google play like they claim there is. BEWARE!

Got charged (twice!) 9.99 even though I cancelled subscription well before free trial ended. Found they just refuse to even consider refunds

Smule has debited £9.99 weekly since the 28th March from my account via google play, I sent a few emails and not one response.
I have also contacted google for a refund but yet to hear from them. very disappointed as I liked the App and it was keeping my mind busy during this period of confinement, with all my family being abroad this was a good distraction.
i will not recommend Smule to Anyone- as it stands- they are difficult to get hold of from the UK- customer service non existent.STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Deliberately difficult to navigate with hidden charges. Then have to email a request to be removed. Awful.

Took 2 years of charges from my business account. I've never heard of them or used them.

Tried to keep subscription but googleplay charged me double you dont have a phone number to call why

Absolute rip off app. Tried for one day. Deleted it. 7 days later stole $16.49. It’s a scam!!!!! Refund me now !!!

I subscribed for one month in Feb.2019. i didn't know that every month ,the app keeps deleting 110/- rupees from my account. When you search how to get refund, Smule directs you to Playstore, while Play store tells you , go to Smule. I cant even delete the account. Uninstalling the app doesn't help.
Smule has customer support. It did respond saying I have no active subscription. So if I get them the GPA transaction number from play store, I can get refund. The bank statement clearly shows that the money was debited by Google/smule.inc.
Since #Googleplaystore has no active customer support , I can't get the GPA number.
There is one way to block payment. Block the debit card ASAP. Get a new one. For the refund though..., good luck with that .

I never had this app installed on my phone, didn't even what it was until I discovered Google was taking money out of my account. I'm having a real difficult time getting my money back, complete scam.

On it to listen. I don’t comment or sing. Been banned from serval live jams for no reason. Most recently just went into a room and never seen the bottom chat window the you see upon entering. You have been banned from this live jam. Will deleting app and hopefully able to close my account.
