I’ve been using Smule since 2016. I am very grateful for this app because I met my husband on it. We’ve been together for eight years. Having said that, Smule has to better the sound quality for the songs. It’s seems to be invested on filters and useless stuff and the sound quality is pretty awful. I always use Studio and it sounds different for different songs using the same settings. There are also other issues I wish they would help but it seems impossible to get them to listen.

The customer service is a crap. I have been harassed by other users from time to time. Smule used to warn me not to fight with them, just report to them. I have listened to smule and reported to smule about how I get harassed,but smule team didn't do nothing to those harrassers. This is too funny. They don't care if you got harassed. They will never do the justice for you. What kind of company is this? Ridiculous!! If you keep reporting, your account might be frozen. This is how they treat customers. You want to use this app?

Fup og fidus. De har hævet 75kr om ugen hver ugen siden juni 2022 fra mit dankort der var tilknyttet min datter som er et barn. Jeg skulle naturligvis holdt øje med hævninger men da beløbet var så lavt og jeg har så mange forskellige abonnementer der kører på mit dankort har jeg ikke lagt mærke til det. Nu da jeg opdagede det henviser Apple som er mellem ledet for at hæve pengende at jeg ikke kan få pengende tilbage da mit lille datter ved køb har haft accepteret deres betingelser. Det er direkte at snyde folk. Hvis de havde hævet beløbet hver mdr havde jeg nok lagt mærke til det da beløbet så havde været ca 500kr. Direkte svindler firma!!!

I uploaded many songs in smule app in my smule account,But when I uploaded the songbook within a day the ratings go down to 50% so I don't know what is the problem, I know someone is giving me thumbs-down for my songbook.

If the option was there to not give any stars then I would give a no star, even 1is too good for it.
I used to adore Smule with a passion music is my drug and love singing with a passion.
So a good ten yrs I've been on n off, rejoined today VIP for a year only for me to regret that decision?
So I've been off it for 2 yrs now and tbh nothing as changed same songs still sections are messed up like reggae hardly anything in there but foreign music a few well know reggae hits and that's just for starters.
It is a task and a half to get a huge following not that I wanted that, its full of divas it's off putting tbh.
And finally the fact they do not issue refunds is really letting off the alarm bells in my head 😤
Down right theft if you ask me, if any sense stay away!!!

Since this app is Global, higher agencies should be looking at this app and not TikTok.

If you've been a victim, contact a lawyer. Keep any and all evidence. After that, local police should be informed. Then State police and DA.
If it warrants it, FBI.gov has a department that will take down what has happened. There is a direct link to do this. They live for finding these types of people!!

Update: They pay for verification and get it even if they'v been reported and or had a suspened account. Verified doesn't mean anything other than they paid for verification. Like Elon Musk did with Twitter (now X). Verification doesn't mean morally just. Just paid popularity and notoriety.

This place is for those who can not sing, and for those who are learning to sing or have already achieved big success. Smule really brought together music lovers and performers of different levels. Congratulations! In Smule you can find a lot of interesting things from the musical field. Also, I have read from other opinioners that this platform so terrible and take money and so on.... Please, use fith your braine. If you subscribing for something online your money will be paid automatically and it's a norm for today. Please, try to understand that on Smule are working a lot from professional musicians and Smule is not a free platform, all these arrangements and working with a terrible singing some of from you have to be paid. Even when somebody coming drunk and doesn't even sing but shouting, even with this "singing" are working professional musicians that even a such "perfomance" to make better.

Omg … where do I begin … they have way too many users and not enough staff ( trouble shooting etc)
I have been on the app for 4 years… u gain followers as you sing , people like etc .. it’s work to get followers… I had over 3k .. ten minutes later I had approximately 900+ less. Now people come and go … happens 3 or 4 drop 3 or 4 pop in to follow u … some accounts are bogus … just scammers ( which Smule didn’t deal with for years , so your getting DM’s from some idiot in Africa with a fake picture .. telling u he loves u blah blah … but I’m not even COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT !!! They deleted 900 people who were following me … then they put it back on me … did you screenshot your page … I’m like why would I just think I have to screenshot my page … I would need to be a mind reader … and know I was going to “ lose “ 900 followers in ten minutes lol 😂 NOT … frankly DO NOT JOIN THIS SING APP … when it started it was good .. but it really sucks now .. the only reason I’m still there are the actual people you sing with on the regular, NOTHING TO DO WITH THE APP ITSELF !! In fact Smule doesn’t even upload songs … they wait for the users to do it for them … which is pretty awful when you think about it .. but it gets worse … then they delete people’s uploads .. sometimes it’s the only one for that song so you just don’t get to sing it …🤦‍♀️I just can’t complain enough about THIS AWFUL AWFUL APP

By not freezing people account to please many iv paid my money and iv sang because I will not delete my account because someone tells me to so ther following do it for them I sing with 8 and just sing in this day and age I don't no how this is possible iv sent emails with the threats iv had and still no reply as to what ther going to do with that person threatening me I have now got my account back after showing smule evidence what was sent to me thank you smule for that

I have been on Smule 8 years and it has gotten better and better. I sing with other members from around the world. There are many new advanced singing features. The new recording apps are colorful and the new available sounds are fantastic. I recall when they went to video! The only two issues I have is the extreme cost difference between android and apple device users. In addition as a person of color who enjoys various music genres, it is sometimes difficult to connect with other members around the world with the same interests. I can only send song invites to 25 of my followers. It should be at least100! There is also a time delay in my followers over season receiving and responding to my invites. I am now also receiving new strange propositions from people about either having a relationship or winning a lottery! They should employ a special person to connect with people of color and expand that area! As there are tens of thousands of retirees that would love to be members if they were aware. But all in all I still love this app and plan to stay with it. Fyi I am 73 years old and love classic R and B and Blues and Jazz. My Smule user name is under USSSOULDYNAMICS and or USS_RicJew_RCC

Been on this app as a vip for 3 years. Amazing features, made some genuine connections with awesome people. In 3 years I've never seen even one troll comment or even a minor argumentative comment. Friendly and song orientated. Social media with a shared interest and positive atmosphere. What's not to love??

They are awful, takes 72 hour's for them to respond and even when they do it's one worded, and there is a lot of back and forth, I wish it was more of a self run app, customer service is horrible.

Dont use this site. They stoled money from me and the app is not work. Very bad service with only email, high cost, and they behavior is poor too. Dont buy from there!

I didnt even KNOW what SMULE is/was used for, I simply saw a recurring charge on my account after downloading rocket money and found out they've been charging me for months! When I email customer service they give me the run around telling me I need the GPA number or something I have NO clue on how to get for them to help me. It's like they don't understand I don't have an email attached to the purchase because someone could have just used my card on their Gmail. I don't know, it's frustrating and I think we should get a class action lawsuit going for predatory practices because I see this is a common issue with this company.

Absolute scam, all features hidden behind pay wall. Has a 7 day free subscription. With credit info like everything these days. However good practice would ensure you ask for continuation of services. I Uninstalled the app and unsubscribed (as I thought) little did I know they were charging me weekly 13.99 canadian plus tax. Weekly!!! No wonder, scam as much in as little. Shameful company. No customer service to talk to, just a month of service that I didn't use taken from my bank. I get monthly bank statements for Christ's sake.

My first experience with Smule was 2020 during Covid Lockdown.
I love it !!! Every aspect.
Great music , great filters, fabulous video and vocal effects.

Still on it now and will continue.
I have read other reviews and the negative comments are on ALL SOCIAL MEDIA.

I’ve made many genuine connections.
I have been able to sort out payment issues via Smule and resolved . Very very Happy

This app is very dangerous for kids, my daughter was using this app to practice her singing and had loads of fully grown men messaging her. Telling her she is beautiful and asking where she lived. She is 7 years old!!! Luckily she was smart enough to not reply and told me about the messages.
The app has been deleted, Zero stars!!!
