Love this foundation! One thing I noticed that maybe will help others is I used my fingers the first time to spread the foundation and loved it the second use I tried using a sponge instead of my fingers and I noticed it went on ashy and didn’t adapt to my skin as well as the first time. Started applying it like a moisturizer and using the sponge to blend and it’s been amazing! Maybe the warmth and friction from the skin to skin while applying is the secret for those who are having a hard time?

Shane was absolutely wonderful in all of his communications with me. I tried to cancel after the order #1312241 was placed & he tried to assist with me with the deliverer, but they did not assist in a timely manner. However, Shane made the mistake of of my situation that he could, which I ended up accepting what was best for me. He was so incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and very quick with his responses! I wish more customer service professionals were always like Shane!!

WOW! This foundation exceeded my expectations! I don’t wear makeup every day, but I actually look forward to putting this on. It feels more like moisturizer than foundation ~ lightweight, comfortable, and beautiful on my skin. I’m obsessed! ❤️ If you’re thinking about trying it, buy it! You won’t regret it!

Fast shipping. Product works as promised. Does turn light on brown or darker skin. Not promised to work on dark skin but lighter hues. Good customer service.

The customer service is terrible! I have been trying to get a return address for almost 3 weeks and 10 emails and 4 comments on Instagram 🤬 This company is a scam and I’ll drive to West Hollywood if I have to! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

My experience with two of the products was not great the foundation was way to light not color adapting at all and very drying not hydrating at all. The lip plumper burned my lips I had to rub ice on them for a while to get it to calm down. When reaching out to ask for a refund they offered store credit and when I said know they wanted a whole video explaining the issues and concerns showing the reaction of the product which is absolutely ridiculous. I took a chance and ordered several products and I’m only asking to return 2 of them. Do right by people who chose to take a chance and try your product, not a good way to do business. It is amazing !! I was never much for foundation usage due to I could never find my “correct” shade. So I gave up. But this … I took a chance and it is amazing!!!!

I purchased Spooke foundation that gose on white and blended to your skin color. I was so eager to try, but just was not working for me. Shake in Customer service was extremely helpful. Offer store credit to buy later. Thank you Shake

Buyer beware!
This product turned deep orange on my fair skin, not what was promised at all! It said it would "adapt flawlessly". and give a "radiant, natural finish". It certainly did not! It was quite chalky/cakey looking after it turned orange, settled in my wrinkles, did not hide freckles or blemishes, and also pilled on my skin after a few hours. Returning the product was only possible if the product was unused and unopened! How would one know the product was unsuitable without opening the package and trying it? So the "return policy" is useless once you discover it doesn't work as promised!
Not disclosing the extra fees for shipping upfront is also not ethical.
"Carla" responded with the stock phrase that has been repeated on almost every complaint but after several emails finally gave me store credit with which I purchased overpriced brushes and lip liner which I hope works better than the "color-changing foundation which adapts to your skin" which does not in fact adapt to match my skin. Although I would preferred to have my money ($72.90) back, the resolution was better than nothing.

The three stars is because honestly, I would give the initial customer service a one star and the product (for me too “ashy” on my face) a two star, but eventually my inquiry was addressed and follow up by my customer service representative, Ricardo, resolved the issue.
There could be some improvements made…I ordered through a link from a social (where Smooche is succeeding in their advertising campaign), and I was never provided a confirmation number for my order. After receiving the product and deciding that I wanted to return it… I was under the impression that was an easy return policy if returned within 14 days… I struggled to find my confirmation number to provide on the website so that I could get instructions for return. I then sent an email to customer service, which was not responded to in a timely way, thus pushing me over the 14 day returns. When customer service got back to me two or three days after my initial inquiry, they offered a store credit instead of refund. After perusing the other products I decided against the store credit and wanted to pursue the refund. It took another couple of days of back-and-forth with the customer service Ricardo, but we eventually resolved this and I was issued my refund.
All in all, while it all worked out, the process was a whole lot more difficult than it should have been.
I guess these are some points that a young company could start to work on in order for their business to be more successful.
