In September 2025 our Golf Club needed to change our Competition Softwear provider. Having evaluated 5 providers, we decided on SmartGolf. They provided a working demo system which we found comprehensive, easy to use and greatly assisted in our evaluation. We operated a Cash Competition Purse through our previous software. None of the companies contacted provided anything similar, however within 3 days of speaking with SmartGolf they had developed and provided this option for us. SmartGolf is an Irish Company, the advice and support provided by Fergus has been outstanding and enabled a seamless transition. Most importantly, they respond within the day and often within the hour on any help and advice needed. I have no hesitation in recommending SmartGolf to any Club looking to change their Softwear.

From a Competition administration view it is simple and quick to set up, amend and close competitions. There are a wide range of options available which allows for variety and flexibility. The facility to go to full digital scoring will further enhance the administration process.
From the members view it is easy to enter the competition and return scores. Results are available really quickly though the app.
The support provided is incredible and makes life a whole lot easier.

Smartgolfsystems provided our Seniors Golf Alliance with a very efficient tool to manage our affairs during the past year. There was a seamless transfer of information to the system and created a very clear and precise way of conducting our affairs. When the banking system was in place, the manner of entering each event was a piece of cake. All details were avaible to each member re. their handicap index, course and playing and having submitted score on phone, duly signed by marker, results of competition was available in short time. All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending this product to any Golf Club wishing to buy same.
There is a continual,very efficient after sales service.

Our club took a decision to move our scoring from masterscoreboard to a new platform in 2021. We set up a sub committee to look into the options available. After serious consideration and our needs, we decided to go with SmartGolf. We liked the whole experience offered. Simple to use, no downloads required by members. One platform for booking, scoring and reviewing results. It's up and running and I have to say all members are very happy with the experience so far. We got excellent help in its setup which made the switch seamless

Very simple and easy to use system for booking tee times. We reviewed several systems and wanted to use one which was a one stop shop for handicaps, scoring , competitions and finance if needed. Smartgolf team very helpful with any queries. Use of url rather than apps which keeps things simple especially for the small club I am in where >50% of members would be over 60. Several more options available from online entry and scoring to setting up multiple competitions and finance.

We started using the Smart Golf System, here at Howth Golf Club for all our interclub matches this year. I can highly recommend the Smart Golf System, it’s simple to set up competitions and update the live scoring, which members can access easily.

We used the SmartGolf system at the WCC, and it was embraced by participants and our administrators, both simple to use and comprehensive in handling the complexities of the competition.

The Livescoring option for team matches is very easy to use and has become a very popular feature with our members.

A great system to keep everyone up to date on the progress of interclub matches. Very easy to use.

We used SmartGolf to run a recent private 4 round competitive tournament in North West Ireland.
It was easy to log on and obtain course and playing handicaps. Scores were entered after via our mobile phones after each each hole which was very easy, particularly during one wet round.
All scores were immediately available and the live scoring was a fantastic feature on the last round as the overall leaderboard changed many times and all competitors could see exactly where they stood at all times.
I would strongly recommend SmartGolf to any club or group running competitions.

I was introduced to Smartgolfsystems during a recent competition in the NorthWest. I found the system to be very helpful and very easy to use. It is an excellent tool, and I look forward to it’s widespread adoption by the golfing community.

We recently used Smart Golf in a tournament in the northwest. It was very user friendly and had many features to keep our interest in the tournament. Monitoring the live scoring of the leaders was great fun.
