The butterfly pillows worked well for both my partner and me for a few weeks but unfortunately, they weren’t the right fit for us long term. That said, the customer service team at SleepSake was fantastic. They genuinely wanted to know about our experience and how they could improve their product. They were very accommodating, helpful, and so easy to deal with.

Overall, it was well worth trying the butterfly pillows. We all have different needs when it comes to pillows and sleep, so the butterfly pillows might just be the perfect fit for you!

The pillow didn’t suit me, however, I emailed about returning and within one day they had organised returning me the money and I could keep the pillow. Obviously the pillow won’t suit everyone so it I such a relief to be able get this sorted out so simply. Not 5 stars as slow to arrive.

Unfortunately due to my small frame was not suitsble, they promptly refunded my money, were excellent to deal with, reply to emails promptly. Rare find these days, I so hope they make the same pillow for smaller frames soon as i could see how comfortable it could be if it was the right fit. Thank you Sleepsake for your wonderful service. Highly reccommend.

Absolutely the best customer service I have experience in a long time, from the moment I placed my order and they didn’t have the colour pillow cases I ordered I was offered an alternative choice or refund. They also responded in quick time with no long waits. Pillow is funny looking but it’s super cool and stays that way all night allowing those who sleep hot like myself to not wake up in hot sweats around your neck. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I ordered the pillow because I am having issues with my shoulder and neck and I thought it would help me. The pillow is good quality but unfortunately it didn’t help me as I prefer a firmer pillow.
I asked for a refund on their 100 day guarantee and to my surprise it was a very easy and straightforward process. After 1 email I got the refund. Very few times I had such a good customer service and an actual guarantee that works easily for the customer. Will definitely recommend giving it a go.

This pillow has changed my life. I have had chronic neck and head pain for almost two years, waking daily with crippling headaches. I have slept on this pillow for 11 days now and if I get up as soon as I wake I am headache free. It is bliss! I am so happy 😀 My neck remains in a stable condition all night. There are two sides to choose from. I put my normal pillowcase on it. I no longer spend my days in a fog from heavy duty meditations. I have gained enough confidence to see an exercise physiologist and have started to do neck strengthening exercises, something that previously scared me. Do yourself a favour, you have nothing to lose!

Even though the pillow wasn’t for me, I have to give 5 stars for their customer service. I contacted them to organise a return and was refunded AND got to keep the pillow to pass on to someone else. Great company :)

Sleepsake is an amazing company to deal with. They go beyond in their service. I had a lot of trouble with sensitivities and they were very understanding. But I continued to persist with the pillow and I am SO HAPPY now - that this is the only pillow I will ever use. I have cervical stenosis and causes a lot of problems but this pillow helps tremendously.
I highly recommend both the pillow and the company.

I was referred to this company having been told they have great products. What I also found, was exceptional, customer service. My experience with Sleepsake has been excellent. My pillow arrived quickly and it was high quality. Unfortunately, the pillow was not high/thick enough for me to comfortably sleep on my side. When I contacted customer service, I was pleasantly surprised to find the process very easy and straight forward. After my initial email asking for a refund, I received a quick response with some suggestions to try if I wanted. I replied that the pillow wasn't working out and the next response was a complete refund, no questions asked. I asked for a refund within the 100 night sleep guarantee. Overall this company has been excellent to work with and I encourage anyone to try out a butterfly pillow. It didn't work for me but it may work for you.

After buying a lot of pillows over the years, I ummed and ahhed about giving the SleepSake Pillow a try. I’ve dealt with chronic neck, back and shoulder pain for years, so finding a pillow that is actually comfortable and supportive has always been a bit of a mission.

Would this one be like all the others I’d tried... too high, too low, too hard? Would it actually support my neck and shoulders without leaving me waking up in pain and uncomfortable?

I’d also seen the ads popping up on Facebook and checked out the website a few times, but still wondered if SleepSake was actually a legitimate Aussie brand, or if I was going to regret ordering something from a Facebook ad. 😂

In the end, what helped me take the plunge was the 100-night happiness guarantee. I figured the risk was pretty limited, especially when I’d already spent so much money over the years on pillows that weren’t right and couldn’t be returned. At least this time, I had the opportunity to actually try it properly and give myself time to adjust.

So, I took the chance and ordered one.

It took approximately three weeks to arrive, which I understand is because SleepSake is a small Aussie brand that is still relatively new to the market.

When it arrived, it definitely took some adjusting. It wasn’t an instant “best pillow ever” moment from the first night. It took me a good 7–10 days to find my groove and get used to the different feel and support.

Initially, I found the arm contours a little strange to adjust to, particularly as I’d always been someone who slept with an arm tucked under my pillow to give it that extra bit of height. Once I got used to the contours, though, I realised I no longer needed to put my arm underneath the pillow to elevate it. Now, I couldn’t imagine sleeping without them!

I’m both a back and side sleeper, and I find it comfortable in either position. The shape gives me the support I need around my neck and shoulders while still feeling comfortable rather than overly firm or restrictive.

I persisted with it and, by about the two-week mark, things had really started to change.

Now, six weeks down the track, I haven’t looked back. I’m waking up feeling like I’ve actually had a quality night’s sleep and, even better for me, pain-free. After years of dealing with chronic neck, back and shoulder pain, that’s a pretty big deal.

It’s comfortable, supportive and has well and truly become the pillow I reach for every night.

I’ve also seen quite a few comments on the Facebook ads from people hesitating because the pillow doesn’t fit a standard-size pillowcase. Don’t let that put you off. You can buy additional pillowcases online, so for me, it certainly hasn’t been a reason not to buy the pillow.

I’m now about to buy a second pillow for travelling and some extra pillowcases, which probably says more than anything else I could write in a review. 😊

If you’re like me and have a cupboard full of pillows that weren’t quite right, my advice would be to give yourself a little time to adjust to this one. It felt quite different at first, but six weeks later, I’m very glad I persisted!

The customer service at Sleepsake is amazing, quite rare these days.
The product itself is extremely well made and the advice given to get the best out of the pillow is excellent.
While the pillow didn't end up suiting my particular circumstances they were true to their word with a full refund and understanding.
It is lovely to know genuinely good customer service still exists.

I ordered 2 of these pillows about a month ago. I was very sceptical but was tossing and turning all night and was desperate. My husband the same.
From night 1 I woke less. They really are a wonderful product. I highly recommend to anyone. It can take a few nights to get positioning right but I am just so happy with mine.
