No internet signal

Internet signal is appalling and it is impossible to reach a resolution via their call centre.

Sky customer service is great when they are selling you something... not so great when handling or resolving complaints.

Since the day we switched to Sky mobile, myself, my partner and our daughter have experienced little to no internet signal when not connected to WiFi.
Sky are not delivering the service I am paying for, and sadly refuse to let me out of my contract, leaving me wondering what my next steps are.

Does not deserve any rating !

I wish I could write this with no star rating, the whole experience shambolic! Information provided incorrect, communications poor . I wish I had chosen another mobile phone provider... Recommend you avoid choosing Sky for Mobile services.

So poor I found my wife in tears!

This morning I came out of the bathroom and found my wife in tears due to her experience with Sky Mobile. She has spent days on the phone to many different people, NONE of whom take accountability and just look to pass the problem to someone else! Managers never call back when they say they will and I wouldn't trust the company as far as I could throw an elephant! If anyone from Sky is reading this - Get someone to call my wife who can actually solve her issues as hiding behind each other is pathetic!! There's a second issue having returned a second phone, but the below is the main one and in her own words ...

• Agreed to upgrade on 31st August and received new phone iphone 16 (pink) and was told the trade in for my old phone was £300 which would clear the balance outstanding.
• Returned iphone 14 on 5th Sept 25 and received by Sky on 8th Sept 25 Royal Mail tracking number OV011980255GB
• Advised that you would only offer me £150 as apparently there was a hardware issue which I didn’t agree with as the phone had been working perfectly fine for me.
• Rejected the swap on 12th Sept 25
• Advised on 16th Sept 25 by Monika in Customer loyalty that the phone would be with me within 72 hours. It didn’t arrive.
• Spoke to Mandy – Floor Supervisor on 17th Sept 25 again told it would be with me in 72 hours. It didn’t arrive.
• Called again 20th Sept 25 and spoke to Masood in mobile technical department and he escalated this call ref4136256783 and told me the phone would be with me in 72 hours. It didn’t arrive
• Called 23rd Sept 25 and spoke to several people, and spent 2 hours on the phone, including Nathan in VIP Loyalty and Pern in Swap team and no one is able to confirm what is happening with this.

It is now 2 weeks since you received my phone which you keep telling me will be returned but it never is. I need to return the iphone 16 so I am then going to be without a phone until mine arrives, if it ever does.

Every time I call it is a minimum of one hour spent on the phone sometimes up to two, as I ask to be put through to the swap team and normally you end up transferring me to Customer loyalty and I have to explain the whole story again and then they put me on hold and then I get transferred as they don’t want to deal with it and normally end up speaking to at least 5 people each call. It is the most frustrating process I have ever experienced.

I am being billed for two phones that I am not going to be using either of them. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, and no one seems capable of doing their job or solving a problem. I will NEVER use Sky again as soon as my families phones are out of contract we will all be going elsewhere and also moving all of our TV package away and broadband from Sky.

Back to me again (Mike the husband) - My wife has to send her phone back or be billed but you haven't sent her phone back to yet where she rejected the swap! I may be a cynic, but I think you do this on purpose to force people to accept lower prices for their swapped phone ... Oh and if one does come back, she will know if it's hers as there's a tiny scratch, but you don't know where ... I suggest you agree to the £300 for hers, as sure as eggs is eggs you haven't a clue where her phone is now!!

Not fit sell anything a pass off…

Not fit sell anything a pass off between Indians whose right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. My complaint is being taken further fortunately I actually recorded the woman apologise for the amount of credit checks an employee took out ha d effected my credit check after the first phone had just been sent to me.

Sky mobile are not fit to be a…

Sky mobile are not fit to be a provider. Not fit for purpose.
Their call centre in India is unfeeling and either totally incompetent or dishonest.
They left my friend with no mobile in a foreign country, with his wife in intensive care and refused to allow any further roaming even when I said I would pay the bill in full. Apparently the bill was not even due!! Sky promised me they would increase his allowance so he could contact his insurance company and then didn't bother.

Report to BBC Watchdog - so many issues with sky mobile - rip off

I didn’t want to put a single star. So many issues with sky mobile. I can’t even be bothered to list it all so stressful. I can see how many others are suffering in the same way. It’s disgraceful. I have reported to watchdog online please anyone else that can do this they need to be shut down. The more that complain the more we may be able to get out of this terrible rip of contract. They won’t allow links in these reviews please google Watchdog BBC for the form to fill your complaint.

Worst service ive ever had

Worst service ive ever had, on phone for 1.5 hours and still issue not resolved. Hung up on me 4 times every time I call back it goes silent. Cut me off phone. Jokers avoid go to three much better service

Shocking

Shocking. Started new contract with them. Sent me a contract for £4 a month but started charging me more. Phoned to sort which took forever. Then get an email saying they’ve put me on a brand new contract (I was already 3 months into the 12 month contract.) phoned them again and they insisted they couldn’t change it. Said I’d go to ombudsman and was told ‘go on then.’ So seeing as they’d put me on a new contract I exercised my right to cancellation and cancelled my contract. Don’t go near with a barge pole.

I would give no stars given the option.
Sky are treating me appallingly and I am a victim of fraud and identity theft. They cannot even be bothered to reply to these reviews. I have been locked out of an account that was set up using my stolen details. I have sent the phone back months ago - no reply - just bills and threats from Sky to press charges for unpaid bills. No contact from the fraud people. They have been apparently on this case for 2 months now. Sky tell me to expect a call - nothing happens. I am completely powerless. I have kept all the proof of sending back the phone and mt crime reference number for the identity theft. If Sky do not contact me soon this will go to Ofcom.

I sent my Samsung tablet in just over a…

I sent my Samsung tablet in just over a month ago now on the 17th of January 2025 for repairs as the power button was not operating properly so spoke to Sky got a package envelope to send it back now trying to get my tablet back it's like trying to win the National Lottery very difficult I wouldn't recommend sky or they repair a so-called service tomorrow morning the 20th of February 2025 I will be reporting sky to ofcom all they seem to do is fog me off oh yes the manager or someone will call you back when are we don't actually know within the next couple of days I would say absolutely shocking service I will be cancelling my broadband my landline my mobile and everything else with Sky I'm not interested in being with a company that cannot tell the customer the truth.

9 days, NO SIM

I had my phone stolen on Sunday the 14th July. Reported it the next day, it’s now the 23rd and still no sim!! Called yesterday to be told it’s 6 working days will be with you tomorrow, that’s 7 working days and 9 days with NO SIGNAL!! Never using sky again

Fraudulent swap

I upgraded to new handset and they gave me an estimated value on my old phone on a swap deal subject to a proper valuation once I send the old handset. I received an email saying the swap is now complete, yet in their previous email, I was supposed to accept the new value. I then called for an hour, pleading with them to return my old device and they are refusing yet it is within my right to accept or decline the offer. This is a limping contract and it tantamount to gross misrepresentation from their part. They tell me that once the swap is confirmed they can't return the old device. They want me to pay a ridiculous amount for the old handset in my next bill.

Avoid with any cost!!
Call centre in India, promise me call back after spending about 4 hours on Call and transferring 12 different customers service on one call which last more then 3 hours!!!
And reson is very small, just couldn't sing agreement on my new contract. Customers service in India promise to give me call which never did and during all this time, Sky keep sending me emails asking to sign agreement. Sky then cancelled the order again saying I'm not signing agreement.

Never been able to use the data in any…

Never been able to use the data in any sensible way google maps a laugh by the time the GPS has caught up you missed the junction .
Calls are poor
This has been going on since joining sky we keep being fobbed off.
Just check how much data had been unused since we joined and you will see
This is throttled back data to 14400 of the 2000
Sky mobile is a scammer and a sham no wonder they split hard ware from network.

Sky sent a broken brand new mobile phone

Sky sent a brand new mobile phone as part of a contract in March which never worked. Despite 6 calls with promises they would send out a pack for me to send it back for repair (they refused to replace it) the package has still not been sent. While they have records that I have called they keep no records of the reason for calling so each time the process has to start again and in the meantime I am paying for the contract and the phone that doesnt work. They refuse to allow me to return the phone and cancel the contract. Avoid them.

Parental restrictions

Phoned customer services to get the parental restrictions taken off my sim as I don't have a credit card. They say they can't verify my age (53) so won't take the restrictions off.
So I'm paying for a service that I cannot use fully due to the restrictions!! Very very poor.
I wouldn't recommend SKY mobile to anyone.
