Absolutely fabulous Canoe Adventure with Chucky & Robson. Highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly guides who explain everything carefully and yet manage to give you your own responsibility as well. Its a great way to see the beauty of Scotland from the water across the Lochs we traversed, Lochy, Oich, Ness and Dochfour The campsites on the sides of the Lochs and the woods are well chosen and peaceful. The food is everything you need after a days paddling, hot, nourishing and plenty of it I would highly recommend this trip iff you want to try out canoeing maybe for the first time, its challenging without being too tough and it gives you a real sense of achievement by the end of the 5th day Thank you as well to my fellow travellers, its always great to get to know a whole bunch of new people who are doing this for the same reasons you are, a challenge but fun at the same time. Fabulous 3 Peaks in 3 Days adventure. Friendly and supportive hikers and a briliiant mountain leader in Simon. He paced our ascents very carefully, taking account of the capabilities of the whole group and had words of encouragement when most needed. Each peak was fun in its own way; from the weather on Ben Nevis including snow near to the top and steady drizzle. Scafell Pike was fun and great views in every direction. Yr Wyddfa was probably the most enjoyable for me as the weather was clear, views amazing and a reasonable pace though the day. Huge thanks to Simon for looking after us so well, his extensive geographical knowledge, the excellent banter in the minibus and the camaraderie of the group as a whole. Big thank you also, to Steve our brilliantly capable driver for getting us safely around throughout the 3 1/2 days. Your efforts were truly appreciated. Would highly recommend this trip and loved the tunes in the bus between the mountains.

A fantastic week canoeing (I had little/no experience) but Chukky and Robson showed us the ropes and with some guidance we made it each day. Great company as I was travelling solo and everyone got on and had a great time. Food was good and plenty toilet stops! Would defo recommend to any solo adventure seekers!!

This is a brilliant hike. The Gran Paradiso circuit is really special. The hiking was challenging & rewarding. Each day of the trip builds on each other with breathtaking & diverse views of the Alps.

Our guide Roberto was 10/10. His love & understanding of the mountains was evident throughout the whole trip. He is calm & confident & super fun.

I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an Italian adventure.

This adventure was the best decision I have ever made, truly awesome, many thanks to our professional guide, Sam Dean, he was so knowledgeable about every detail of the trip, also giving guidance and installing confidence in those who doubted themselves, yes it was challenging at times, but those things in life we strive for are not easily gained, which makes them more appreciative when achieved. Our team bonded well and we all worked together to achieving our goal, and I have made some very good friends for life.

This trip was fantastic. Excellent organisation and information before the trip. The actual trip was well planned, greatly resourced with wonderful guides, great locations to canoe to and camp along with delicious cooked meals to keep us energised for the exciting canoeing sessions. It was a great social group and everyone was a team and had a fabulous time. Definitely highly recommended.

Thank you so much to Nordic Paddling and Sini, in particular, for a great weekend kayaking and hiking. We were well looked after at every stage. Sini was a wonderful guide - so knowledgeable, and great at tailoring the trip to our group's abilities. We came home happy and re-set after just four days. I'd highly recommend this trip.

Just got back from the canoe across Scotland trip and it was honestly one of the best things I've done in a long time.

The scenery was incredible, but what really made the trip was the people. I turned up not knowing anyone and left having met a genuinely great group of people hat made the whole experience even better.

A huge thank you to Matty. He was a fantastic guide, kept everyone safe, taught us some useful skills, and got a group of strangers working together and having a laugh within no time. I also wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. The meals he cooked in the middle of nowhere were better than some I've had in actual restaurants.

I'd happily book another trip tomorrow. Highly recommended.

I have never done an organised adventure with a group of strangers. I brought my sixteen year old son who is passionate about nature. I felt more at peace over the recent five day journey than I have all year. I know how much it helped to have logistics, such as: route, food, cooking, sleeping locations and equipment all organised by Mattie, our guide, and I really appreciate the knowledge, strength, skill, humour, kindness, hardwork and dedication he brought.

The route is mesmermising, picturesque, often slipping into the realm of dreamscape. Paddling and camping on it was simultaneously gentle enough to feel like a luxurious getaway and challenging enough to leave me with a strong sense of gratification from the physical accomplishment of canoeing across Scotland. Five out of five.

Exceeded all my expectations. Fabulous scenery,, picturesque overnight locations, great food, challenging but immensely enjoyable treks. Two over-riding impressions of this trip: I couldn't have met a better bunch of life- and fun-loving characters who supported each other throughout the 4 days - many unforgettable memories. Our guide Grigor was highly professional, prepared, informative, and attentive - top marks for a first-class TMB experience. . I will definitely be looking to book further treks.

Great trip and a good mix of kayaking and hiking. We had a small group (4) which worked well. Weather was great for all but the last day which really helped make the trip, with a ‘more typical rainy day’ on the last day which was hard work but rewarding. It can be quite hard going so would recommend considering fitness / appetite to do the activities before booking but we had no regrets 🙂.

Surprising, in a very good way, this part of Spain is like a ‘mini-Dolomites’, and just as spectacular as its more famous cousin. The scenery is spectacular and there are great photo opportunities at every corner that you can’t fail to create a beautiful picture from.

The variable weather was perfect too - mostly sunny yet not too hot, with us getting above the clouds on day one. Dan, our guide efficiently organised each day’s hike and moved us between the different hotels. The first was charming in a beautiful and peaceful small village; the second was quality with great comfort and cuisine.

No need to pack heavy for the trip, as it’s a casual atmosphere throughout. Cards are accepted in most places too but you need a little cash for some of the more remote bars and shops.

This is definitely a place it would be worth returning to.

The experience of a lifetime! Went on my own and had the most dreamy adventure- I got as much of a workout from laughing with strangers (now friends) as I did scaling the breathtaking heights.
A total privilege to be guided by Grigor, who did everything for us short of actually doing the hike! His knowledge of the mountain flora & fauna, expert technical knowledge (even down to how to correctly wear your backpack) & gentle encouragement was everything you could wish for in a guide. A total gent.
The whole thing was so well organised from meals/water stops/transfers, it left us with very little to worry about only enjoying ourselves and getting to the endpoint!

Our Canoe holiday in Scotland was wonderful. Chucky was a great guide, knowledgeable, calm, supportive and a great cook! Billy was also a brilliant guide, so knowledgeable about every inch of Scotland - up early, last to bed and always making sure everyone had hot drinks when we needed them. A great team who looked after us so well! We had a brilliant time getting to know new people and challenging ourselves to get outside of our comfort zone. Would highly recommend to anyone contemplating doing it - say yes!

Just finished our 4 day mini tour de Mont Blanc today. This was incredible- the scenery, our guide, the locations, and the company- what amazing people! Grigor, our guide, was very knowledgeable, constantly giving us interesting facts and sharing full details ahead of each day. He was also most kind and considerate, getting to know each group member personally and meeting our needs where he could. The refuges were each unique and came with their own quirks, but each is located in a most stunning location. The walking was tough at times and genuinely challenged us but we left with a real sense of achievement. Thank you.

The trip was outstanding, took a few days for my body to recover. Though I would do something similar in a heartbeat. Wild camping, I had never camped out wild, what a great experience and the food, I am fussy about my food, all I can say the food was outstanding. The guides were knowledgeable and a good laugh. Just finished Tour de Mont Blanc with my 17 year old son, we both have had a holiday that will stay in our memories forever. Our guides Sally and Tracey were first class they put us at ease instantly and I can honestly say this holiday went far better than I could ever of hoped, partly down to the company we had on this trip, the mountain huts were fabulous the views were breathtaking. AlpAdventures literally thought of everything and our guides went above and beyond. Will definitely be booking another.

My first trip with Skyhook and I am seriously impressed! So well-organised, all we had to do was get to the airport on time! It was a packed itinery so not a moment was wasted. Our guide Tom was fantastic - friendly, extremely knowledgeable, great fun and always happy to help. The weather turned bad so he seamlessly switched to plan B (and plan C!) making sure we didn't miss out on anything and we made the most of every minute. Slovakia really is a beautiful place and I would highly recommend this adventure. You will have aching legs though 😂
