Love Skrim watercolours. They are surprisingly creamy and they mix to form neutrals if you want. Shipping was prompt. Highly recommend.

A welcomed experience
I was just thrilled with the experience I had with Skrims paint. The colors flowed beautifully. They blended well in a wet wash effect. I really am so happy I discovered this company and their product. My final project was given as a gift. The recipient was thrilled with
The painting as well as the other guests.

Karen, thank you so much for sharing this.
It means a lot to hear that the colors flowed the way you wanted and behaved well in wet washes. We put a great deal of work into making our paints rewet easily and blend smoothly, so knowing that this helped your project turn into a gift you were proud to give is exactly the kind of feedback that keeps us going.
The fact that both the recipient and the other guests were thrilled with your painting makes us genuinely happy. That is the best possible use of our colors.
If you ever feel like sharing a photo of your artwork or future pieces, we love seeing what people create with our paints. It also helps others decide whether our colors are a good fit for their own projects.
Thank you again for trusting us with your art. We hope your next painting session with our colors is just as enjoyable.

Professional company and excellent product?
I found the company professional to deal with and prompt delivery. The watercolours are heavily pigmented and really do shine and shimmer. I have used black watercolour paper which really makes them pop but plan to do a hummingbird on white paper shortly. Family and friends have loved the effects. Would recommend.

Thank you so much, Wendy, for taking the time to share this.
It really means a lot to us that you experienced both our service and our paints as professional, reliable, and genuinely high quality. We put a lot of care into making sure orders arrive safely and quickly, so hearing that this part went smoothly for you is very encouraging.
We’re especially happy that you enjoy how heavily pigmented and shiny the colors are, and that they “pop” on black paper – that’s exactly what we hope people will feel when they first try them. Your idea of painting a hummingbird on white paper sounds beautiful; those shimmery layers tend to look almost “alive” on lighter backgrounds.
Knowing that your family and friends have loved the effects you’re getting is the biggest compliment we can receive. If you ever feel comfortable sharing a photo of your work (especially that future hummingbird), we’d be honoured to see it – and it can help other artists who are still hesitating to give our colors a try.
Thank you again for your warm recommendation and for trusting us with your creativity. We’d be very happy to be part of your next project too.

The paints from Skrim are beautiful.
The paints from Skrim are beautiful. The variety is awesome, and they are easy to order and delivery is descent. I use many colors on my wood projects. I they talk about paper, but i use it on wood. I let it dry for a day, and then lightly mist it with spray varnish. I like the finished product.

The company seems fine
The company seems fine. When they sent the wrong colors, they immediately responded and sent the correct one. But, they were a great waste of $$. They brush off the paper even after several days of drying. They are expensive and I would NEVER purchase them again.

I love these beautiful watercolor paints, they are incredibly creamy with glorious saturated color. I use the shimmers, metallics, and pearls for painting abstracts and in my handpainted jewelry. No other watercolors I've used come close to the excellent quality of Skrim.

Hi Nete,
Thank you for your wonderful review! 🌟 We're so glad you’re enjoying the beautiful glitter and colors—it’s always magical to see the pigments come alive and dance on the paper, isn’t it? 🎨✨
We can’t wait to see what amazing creations you come up with. Happy painting and keep having fun experimenting!

lacking in quality
I tested about seven sets of their watercolours and I don't think the quality matches the price. Quite a bunch of the colours don't stick on the paper after drying and come off quite easily. Furthermore, some of their priciest sets (royal shifters) look really streaky and nothing like the pictures and videos used to advertise them.
The worst thing is they will not post anything but 5 star reviews on their web page. I did submit 2 reviews that were not 5 star with extensive explanations as to why I rated them lower and even included photos. A week later and those reviews are still nowhere to be seen.
I don't recommend ordering from this business.

Glow in the dark paint
I bought the beginners set. In that set is a glow in the dark color, goblin. It's absolutely amazing!! It barely shows up on paper, I suggest using a black light so you can see where is lays. The glow is beautiful, lasts a short time.

Hi Jen,
Thank you for your glowing review! 🌟 We're so happy to hear you’re enjoying the Goblin glow-in-the-dark paint from the beginner’s set—it’s truly a unique color! 💚
You’re absolutely right—using a black light is a great tip to see where it’s applied. The glow effect is such a fun feature, and we’re thrilled you’re loving its magic! If you have any questions or need tips for longer-lasting glow effects, feel free to reach out.
Happy painting,

Not worth the money
Expensive and color doesn't stick on paper. Easy to wipe of from the paper after drying

Skrim Watercolors sind einfach klasse! Die Farben sind leuchtend und sie gleiten so geschmeidig aufs Papier. Ich liebe, wie sie sich vermischen und halten. Ein Muss für jeden, der Aquarellmalerei mag.
