SkinViva Training Academy (now Harley Academy Manchester) Recenzje 

I attended the Foundation course last week and want to give an honest review of my experience.

Firstly, I have nothing but positive things to say about the trainers. They were knowledgeable, supportive and approachable throughout the day, and I genuinely enjoyed learning from them.

Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed with the practical element of the course. When you’re paying £1,000 for foundation training, you expect ample opportunity to practise on live models. I didn’t have the chance to inject lips, which was the main treatment I was hoping to gain experience in, so I left feeling underprepared and lacking the confidence I expected to have after completing the course.

I also felt the “goody bag” was underwhelming. I don’t think it added any value and, in my opinion, it would have been better not to advertise it as a goody bag at all.

At the end of the course, I asked about our certificates, but the receptionist wasn’t able to advise me, so I left feeling unsure about when or how I would receive mine. I received a digital certificate the following day, but I was surprised that there wasn’t the option of a printed certificate, particularly from a training provider with such a strong reputation. I ended up having to print it myself.

I also contacted Harley Academy by email to raise my concerns but have not yet received a response. This lack of communication has only added to my disappointment.

Overall, while the quality of the trainers was excellent, the practical experience and post-course support did not meet my expectations. During the course I was seriously considering enrolling on the Level 7 programme, but after reflecting on my experience and not receiving a response to my feedback, I have decided to pursue further training elsewhere.

I would encourage anyone considering booking this course to carefully consider whether the practical experience provided is enough to meet their expectations.

What a fantastic day of training with Sharryn! It was perfect for boosting my confidence. There was ample opportunity to practice, and every question was met with a reassuring and supportive response. This was my second course, and I'll definitely be back for more. A big thank you to everyone involved!

For the past 4 years I have attended many different trainings, and I must say that the ones ( lip and cheek enhancement and Polynucleotides) with Skin viva were the best! Very detailed, hands on, well done guys!

Attended foundation toxins and dermal filler course with Dr Matt. What a great teacher, he put everyone at ease and there were multiple opportunities at practicing with live clients. Very informative, looking forward to booking my next course

Good teaching regarding the practical element and hints/tips on technique, however the theory and recommended injection techniques demonstrated were not the same as the written manuals which was quite confusing for going ahead with starting to practice as a clinician.

I attended training for Sculptra treatment with Sharryn (trainer). A thoroughly enjoyable day. There was ample opportunity to ask questions and practice on models. I will definitely go back for any future training and I would recommend them to other medics looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in aesthetics.

Brilliant day , great trainer (Sharron) , very knowledgeable and a really good teacher. Good balance between theory and practice. Definitely recommend to anyone starting out.

I attended the lip filler masterclass with Sharryn recently! The training was absolutely amazing, Sharryn provided so much theory and practical teaching during the course! Super knowledgeable in aesthetics, as someone at the start of their aesthetics journey, I left feeling competent to provide the treatments within my own clinic. Look forward to booking my next course with the academy! :)

I’ve recently completed the cheeks and lips filler course with Dr Matt. Everyone is so friendly and supportive at Skinviva, it was a really informative and enjoyable experience learning how to place fillers in these areas. Will definitely be booking more courses in the future!

I attended SkinViva academy following recommendation by a colleague and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent experience that started from receiving very informative pre-course theory and e-learning that allowed a good base knowledge prior to practical training. Sharryn provided an excellent training day that covered everything from injection techniques, anatomy, how to assess patients individually giving honest and realistic advice allowing for expectations to be met, and some great advice on how to get your business started. Lots of practical that ensured my confidence grew significantly by the end of the day. All the staff were so friendly and checked in with our group throughout the day to make sure we were having a good experience. Hard copies of theory information provided on the day and unlimited access to lots of information / support groups online through SkinViva. Thank you all.

I came to Skinviva this week for some treatment which was amazing, Sharryn always does my treatments as she makes me feel so at ease and safe with everything she does (and I’ve had many). Have been coming for years and wouldn’t trust anyone or any other company to do my work. I want to look better but natural and that’s exactly what I get. You’re amazing Sharryn and I couldn’t be more grateful for you looking after me so well. Thank you as Always.

Had an amazing day Claire was fantastic made the day feel so relaxing and the group of people I was with could not of wished for a better group. Felt like I had known Claire and the group years by the end of the day it was that good. Learnt so much I booked another course

SkinViva training material is really informative and interesting to watch. I have no previous experience of aesthetics but after watching all the slides and completing the pre course theory tests prior to arriving for in house training, I have gained a good foundation knowledge and feel more confident to continue with the practical side.
