Fantastic from start to finish Mel completely understood what i wanted and delivered with exceptional professionalism and artistry, with a fun and friendly demeanor put me at ease straight away. Will be using Skins and Needles for my next tattoo I've already decided what i want and have no doubt that one of the guys there can execute it with every bit of professionalism and expertise as the last one.

i have been visiting the Durham shop for around a year now , having new tattoos and cover ups . Ian is the tattooist who i go to, love his ideas and have not been disappointed so far
Totally trust him , and i love the work that he has done I am no where finished so i will continue to go here !

Such a friendly bunch of people at Skins and Needles. As a mature client, I was made to feel super welcome no agism at all! Dylan made an excellent job of my tattoo, he was super friendly and professional.
On this occasion I also had a piece of face jewellery changed and this was also a great experience. Thank you all xx

Definitely a 5-star experience. The team are very professional and absolutely masters of their craft. My hair never looked so amazing. I had my hair cut by the lovely Laurel and she even did my eye brows, which was a first for me. Great banter, lovely team to chat with. I will look forward to going back.

Awful experience in the Durham branch. Can't comment on quality of tattoos as we didn't get that far but no where near the friendly and positive atmosphere of the Middlesbrough branch. Felt extremely uncomfortable in Durham and left waiting around for 40 mins after the appointment was booked for before we eventually left. £40 deposit down the drain.

Got my helix pierced after getting my lobes done, Katy did my lobes and was so good, she also did my helix today, recommend her so much, had a lovely experience, gave her a £5 as it was well deserved!

Love going to Skins & Needles. Make you feel so comfortable and chill. Jay S done my Tattoo and done a remarkable job. Won't go anywhere else. 10/10

Katie from ingleby barwick store who did my tattoo was Absolutely fabulous !!!!!
Very friendly and put me at ease,we none stopped chatted all the way through having my tattoo.
I would definitely recommend Katie or all the staff as they were all very friendly.
Will be back for another tattoo soon.

Today I had work done to refresh an old tattoo. Very happy with the result, the colours are so much better and Mel is great, he really makes you feel at ease. Last year I had two tattoos done within 3 weeks of each other by Adam, he's a lovely lad and a good artist. I did think that my tattoo today was a bit expensive though, but I have no complaints about the artwork. 👌

I went to the Ingleby tattoo parlor for my second tattoo which I got of lyrics from one of my favourite songs, I was still quite nervous as I'm still quite new to tattoos but Katie was so lovely and amazing at the design I wanted so it made the experience so much more enjoyable! Definitely would love to get a tattoo done by Katie again! ☺️

The staff in the Ingleby parlour were all very helpful and respectful of us 'oldies' We (myself and 2 friends all ladies of a certain age ) had tattoos by Katie. My tattoo was designed and drawn by her and was absolutely beautiful. Health and hygiene were excellent. This was a one off fir us but would happily recommend .

Very friendly,even though my appointment was running late.made me feel comfortable with my latte & free cream and soap for tattoo.

My name Sam Matthews and Katie did 3 great tattoos on me told her what I wanted and she come back with an amazing design I can’t thank you you engough as it was about my dad and sister thanks so much she is an amazing artist and tattooist thanks so much also I come back for a little robin and Jess did this today for me she is an amazing tattooist to told her what I wanted and she designed the robin you have 2 amazing tattoo artists there also they kept me calm as was nervous but helped me so much with that thank you so much and I’ll be defo back also Liam was great service to 10 out 10 for all staff also Kieran helped with what I wanted for written thanks again

Had my tattoo touched up slightly and ears pierced whilst I was there.
My artist and piercer Katie was great and professional at all times.
Will definitely be back for more tattoos in the future.

Very professional. I had felt slightly intimidated at first however, absolutely no need as Kim was the loveliest most professional person ever! I was blown away by the whole experience tbh. I had lost a piercing bar and Kim quickly and efficiently popped another one in. She also pierced my Daith. It was practically pain free, I was amazed. Would definitely return here in a heartbeat.

Been here for the first time today so get a new tattoo and a touch up on a portrait by Adam.
Lovely welcome very friendly and relaxed .
As usual I have come away very pleased with both tattoos.
