Recently I bought 2 courses
Recently I bought 2 courses, which I have not yet used. When I first tried to log in, I had difficulty on one course and could not even find the 2nd course--I think they might not have given me credit for the purchase. My first impression of the course I reached (I started with Microsoft Outlook) was that it was both too elementary and too complicated. I have not yet had the hours it sometimes takes to get back with the company to find the missing 2nd course or to resume the course I reached. I bought these courses because of an absurd "discount," but unless, after I have time to straighten things out it gets better, I cannot recommend this company.

Each of your points is addressed below:
We did ask you to send in the second voucher so we could look into this but unfortunately, we didn't receive that from you. Judging by the names of the two course bundles you purchased, it looks like one was from Skillsology and the second was from a different course provider. If you check your email from PC World carefully it should show you where to go to access this.
You have full access to the courses that you purchased from us. In order to switch between courses you just need to select "View All Courses" on the left-hand menu. From there you can navigate to the other 6 courses you have access to.
We aim to cater for people with different levels of experience in Microsoft Office, which is why each course has a Filter. This is a set of questions you take at the beginning by selecting the "Take Filter" button. From here we will give you a bespoke journey through the course that is most suitable to your needs, this will hopefully remove the elementary aspects of the course and help you build up to the more complicated sections.
We hope you log back in and continue learning. We can always be reached by phone Monday - Friday, 9-6 UK time on +44 (0) 20 3095 7115 if you have any further issues.

Great online service
Very easy way to learn new things and gain a qualification out of it. You are able to do it whenever you have a spare few minutes here and there, allowing you to complete a course quickly and pain free. I thoroughly enjoyed my 'basic Excel' course leaving me with these skills for life!

Great for picking up a new skill
I have taken a couple of courses and have been pleased with the information I was able to learn. I like the layout of the interface and the ease in which I can skip ahead and not get slowed down by content in which I am already familiar.
Customer service was friendly and quick to respond. Although, my only contact with them was to upgrade my number of courses.

The course starts out nicely--building …
The course starts out nicely--building a foundation and slowly getting more complicated. About 1/3 of the way through the course, it takes a decidedly more complicated twist and the previous lessons have not prepared you for the leap. It was noticeable when I started the lessons about error checking. Up to that point, we had only used basic formulas--but now we are suppose to be error checking complicated formulas.
Frequently when I would navigate to the website, I would receive this message:
"This site can’t provide a secure connection
auth.skillsology.com sent an invalid response."
That happens a lot. Then I am unable to work on my lessons.
There were frequent lessons that had spelling errors. I would have liked to be able to mark the errors and send them to Skillsology for correction and the improvement of the class, but there is no easy way to accomplish this.
Lastly, they send frequent emails trying to sell upgrades or new products--but often the emails are blank. Just a subject line--and nothing in the email body. This happens a lot.
They could do much better if they opened themselves to constructive criticism, fixed their website issues and learned how to send emails.

I have learned some good points so far but it's a bit like reading the book. I can't get the videos to play no matter what I've tried but skillsology states that they play fine on their end. Guess it's just me. I wish the exercises could be contained and worked on in the website itself instead of having to download each time. Other than this, like I said, I have learned some new things.

I took an online Excel course
I took an online Excel course, I thought it would be a bit too basic at first, as I thought I was quite good with Excel…I was wrong.
I wouldn’t suggest skipping any of it as there are bits where you may think you know the answer, but in fact do not.
There are bit’s that I will never use, as I’m a mouse man (shortcuts) but others I’m sure do use.
I'm going on to their Lifetime course next.
