Although the appointment of a solicitor is a precursor to a rocky road, Simpson Millar have been fantastic. They were thorough, kind and totally compassionate. Primarily I dealt with Emma Hickey who I cannot thank enough for her time and effort, support and advise. My case took several years to finalise due to the complications involved and Emma was always there for updates, had time to explain everything probably more than once and never made me feel anything but totally looked after. I can't thank them enough

Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service. Andrea sanders has been trying to get the rest of her trust fund since August of 2025. The solicitor of the trust fund will NOT answer any of her calls whatsoever even the manager Adam will not answer any neither. The solicitor only sent the closing down letters just before Christmas then went on holiday leave, AND quess what SHE still won't answer any phone calls. My mate lost her mum in September and she told them she needed that money for her funeral, yes fair enough they sorted some of it out for her but not to cover full funeral so she has had to borrow money. Their is loads of phone calls recorded since August 2025. Them promising her they would ring her back, QUESS what NO PHONE CALLS BACK! Absolutely horrendous service. PLEASE STAY AWAY YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO BEG FOR YOUR MONEY!!!! IT SHOULDNT TAKE THIS LONG OVER 6 MONTHS TO CLOSE A TRUST FUND DOWN. YOU ARE TRYING TO ROB HER OF HER OWN MONEY. ANDREA HAS BEEN TOLD LIES AFTER LIES AFTER LIES AND STILL NOTHING GETS DONE!! THEY SHOULD GET PUT ON SOME COURSES TO ANSWER THE PHONE AND STOP TELLING LIES TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! ANDREA SANDERS

Hi my name is Victoria smith. I've Had the privilege of having Sarah warberton as my solicitor for the first time in current court proceedings. This is unfortunately my third court case over my sons father having contact. Sarah has been so amazing beyond words as my solicitor. She has been the perfect mixture of extremely down to earth and extremely proffesional. Not only that she's been extremely supportive and patient and made doing any statements alot easier than my previous experiences. She always listens to me on our call appointments so when I recieve the statments it's like I have wrote them myself. She has always been there to contact on emails if I have questions and we have had quite a few phone appointments and also met in person quite a few times. She always puts things so clearly so I can understand. She has been so thorough and even spotted errors with dates in a past statments. I think the company is extremely lucky to have Sarah on their team. Not only how amazing she is at her job but also how she is naturally is as a person. Her passion for her career shows. Megan Sarah's paralegal has also been amazing. Extremely proffesional and supportive when we have had contact. Megan and Sarah seem like a little dream team. I had great service from Tina who is based at Liverpool office. She was quick at replying to my emails with any questions i had and made the process easy. The case had gone on a while (not due to Simpson Millar) so i had a few solicitors during the case but that was to be expected

Medical Negligence Claim
After a slow start to my claim when there was little communication, Simon Wilson and his team took over and from then on things progressed smoothly. I found that Simon was communicative and helpful in his advice and explanations of the claim which proceeded much more quickly to a satisfactory conclusion.

Mark Challiner has been excellent
Mark Challiner has been excellent , very supportive, very efficient and dealt with matters expeditiously. The company from the call taker to Mark have all been easy to communicate with. Would I use again Absolutely but hope not because don't really want another bang on the head or other injury.

Outstanding service
I have to say the work done by Eva has been exceptional despite the issues caused by the insolvency practitioners. The process has been seamless and I have never been ignored or had to wait for any update. Communication has been outstanding and I really can’t fault the work done.
I would also like to say a thank you to Nicola for her assistance in getting the payment over the line. Despite this being for another department Nicola helped assist when Eva was off.
This just shows the dedication and high quality service that this firm provides. I would 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to utilise their services.

Unbelievable help
Even though I don't have a particular case with Simpson millar, because of an old firm who they did take over from a few years who no longer exist, i have been offered advice and assistance regarding a property issue. The level of professionalism and the amount of help I have received from Linda is unbelievable, she has not only helped me and advised me but she has lifted a terrible weight and anxious feeling from me and without her support I would not be now only a few weeks away from where I need to be.
