Ordered iPad mini told delivery would be 4-10 days....12 days still not even been despatched. Asked for refund....2-3 days ago not heard a thing.

I have read a lot of the bad reviews about Simplyelectronics and appreciate peoples frustrations. However they are not scammers and when things do go wrong it does come out right in the end. For example A few years back now I ordered an expensive camera which was not in stock and it took six week to get my money back. Delivery may be slow, but they do use the best couriers, DPD. They have been on the internet some years now and if they really were that bad they would have collapsed a long time ago. I have written this review because I felt it most unfair to call them scammers, which they are not. I have recently spent £1,850 with them which came in two separate orders. All the equipment purchased arrived manufacture boxed, in perfect condition, and well packed.True it maybe a bumpy ride getting your order, but as said, and I quote: "the best prices on the internet." I think my orders took about seven days to come through. Oh! and I saved a packet myself for sure. Must go, have my new toys to play with.

Having gone through all these reviews..I'm scared to buy and not that confident in because is coming from the Hong Kong. I don't know if the item/product is original?

do not order anything from this company, they take your money don't even respond to acknowledge they have received it.
when you call them you listen to the same stock response "your order will be dispatched in the next 2 days" ALL LIES THEY HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS!! i dont beleive they even have the item I ordered even though the website says they had 4 in stock

do NOT use this company. i first ordered my phone on the 05/08/15...that was a good call with it being cheaper than anyone else . waited a couple of days checked my account online to see if it was being dispatched, nothing so i phoned customer service .they say dont worry its being packed so it was a friday so i thought monday it would be dispatched. monday came my account said packing so phoned again . customer service said dont worry there is a delay we will give you a usb storage key as a gift and the phone will be dispatched i asked if they had the phone they said yes .waited a few days nothing checked my account and it said to get intouch so i did , they said they didnt have the colour i wanted but they had a black one. out of frustration with it being over a week i agreed to the pone.another couple of days still nothing so again i phoned up, they told me it was being didpatched and i would get it that week . didnt get a tracking number so again i phoned they gave me it and my account changed saying the the delivery firm had picked it up . so i got intouch with them and they said they didnt have it . phoned up again customer services said give it 24hrs . got the phon two days later.this company is bad dont use them i am convinced if you find a good review its one of their own. at no point in this process did anyone ring me and at one point they even cancelled the order. when you phoned them and chase the order all you get is customer services that dont care and just lie all the time telling me they had the phone but never did . i have my phone now but i will never use this company ever again .

Placed an order on the 24th April and was told it would be delivered in no more than 10 days, 5th May I get an email that order is dispatched and will be with me in the next few days, a few days to me is 3-4 days, so I wait, then on the 7th I get another email with a tracking number saying order has been shipped, off I go to track my order, expecting it to be here by today (8th May) only to find that my order is in the Netherlands!!! in transit, I live in the UK, 14 days WORKING DAYS, and still waiting, I have lost money because of this company and would advise the world DO NOT USE this company if you value your time. God only knows when I will receive my order.

No news from my last post. Simply electronics has not delivered the goods purchased in November 2014 and has not offered any compensation and is not answering numerous mails in a meaningful way.

This is a non reliable company that abuses its customer

Lens delivered, well packaged. Kept me up to date as to where the item was as different times. Exactly as was ordered and the cheapest I could find anywhere. Pleased.

I had bought a microsoft pro 3 tablet I got it on time, then after a week it stopped working I tried to email and call them so I can return it and replace it with a new one or get my money back. I still haven't heared anything useful from them they keep asking me about the packaging which I told them I have thrown away. Each time I call they tell me to wait for an email and I get another email telling me they will pass my case to the relevant team. Am reading the reviews and most of them are bad ones and they are not improving their service. Don't recommend to buy anything from them it will be waste of money

This was an order for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Before the order I asked the company to advise where the goods would be sourced and I was told it would the UK and that delivery would be within a few days.

The goods arrived after 2 weeks from Hong Kong in a badly damaged box and came supplied with a European (2 pin) rather than a UK (3 pin) plug.

I complained about the damaged box. I was asked to email photos which I did. When I heard nothing and asked for a update I was asked to email the photos again which I did. This was 2 weeks ago.

I had to buy a Samsung UK plug from Amazon and after several requests for a refund from Simply Electronic, today I received an email asking me to email a photo!

The invoice I received looks like something a child might have produced and certainly not of any use as an expense claim. The company refuses to provide a proper invoice despite what they said before I placed the order.

I placed the order with this company because their price was competitive but I realise the poor customer service and the unavailability of a proper invoice, or UK plug means it was a false economy.

I hate to think what will happen if I need to make a warranty claim

10 working days one, still wating for my next day delivery.
No replys to my emails or phone calls

I have ordered a camera from them, which was listed as available (9 items), to find out two weeks later that the item was out of stock. When I phoned them after few days since I placed my order, I have been informed that the camera hasn't been dispatched yet, but it will be sent asp. A week after that, I got an email saying that the inventory is depleted and that the next shipment is not expected to arrive within any short period of time. I have cancelled my order and asked for an immediate refund, but haven’t received my money yet. As of today, the item that is out of stock is still listed as available on their website!!!! Please do not buy from them, they sell stuff they don’t have, take your money and keep it for weeks to make a profit out of it. They should be taken to court !!!!

Not only did they mislead about the availability of a laptop , but they also have so far kept my refund which they agreed was due for several weeks. At every stage they claim matters have to go through " process" but this is simply a dishonest way of concealing that they either do not have the item in stock , or are trying to keep hold of your money for as long as possible. AVOID .

I ordered a phone for my son on December 22 for £287, we waited and waited and in the end gave up and ordered the same one from Another company (should have done this to start with) which took two days to arrive. The one from simply electronics finally got here on the 17th January which we returned 3 days later asking for a refund which they stated took 7 to 10 working days which I thought that's fine, anyway one month later and many emails saying pretty much the same thing I am still waiting, I have never come across a company like this before in my life,I still don't no if they will ever give me my money back a big mistake using them.

I've ordered from these before in the past with no problems so for christmas I decided to order again as they were the cheapest. I need two iPhone 5c's for my kids, placed order on 3rd of December after site said had items in stock and paid for straight away. Long story but the items were never going to turn up on time even after many phone calls and emails and being promised tat they would. On the friday before christmas I cancelled the order as couldn't take the chance of them not turning up obviously never had them in stock. Had no problem cancelling and they were very apologetic and understood, said will issue my refund. Well its now gone mid January and still waiting again, keep sending emails and making phone calls and have been promised 3 working days but guess what? no refund! am now getting really frustrated I need my money back now can't understand why taking so long and looking at some of these posts I'm starting to get concerned. so be careful it seems like pot luck with them like I've said I've ordered before in past with no problems but this time, Well I'm just hoping its because of the christmas period!

I purchased a flash from the electronic store a month ago and still have not received it.
