Extreme huurverhoging locatie Utrecht …
Heb vanaf juni 2023 een box gehuurd bij Shurgard.
Moet zeggen, het gebouw is schoon en makkelijk toegankelijk.
Echter ik wordt nu geconfronteerd met het feit dat de huur per 1 maart 2026 met een absurde 30% wordt verhoogd.
Krijg een slap excuus dat de prijs wordt aangepast naar het huidige prijsniveau in de regio Utrecht en dat de vraag zo groot is.... klinkt mij in de oren als machtsmisbruik..
Ik ga op zoek naar wat anders, dit is onacceptabel

Daarom nodigen u graag uit in uw Shurgard vestiging om de verschillende mogelijkheden even samen te doorlopen. Misschien is verhuizen naar een goedkopere unit een oplossing? We komen er beslist samen uit!

Problemen met krijgen van de code
Mijn eerste ervaring liep wat stroef. De code werd te laat geleverd, waardoor we er nog niet in konden en de verhuiswagen niet kon lossen. Ze wilden nog extra informatie hebben, maar daar had ik nooit eerder bericht van gekregen. Het leek me ook overbodige informatie. Het is uiteindelijk opgelost en we hopen de spullen zonder problemen over een paar maanden op te kunnen halen.

Goede onboarding
Fijne onboarding; proces werd in de mail duidelijk uitgelegd en er werd ook telefonisch contact opgenomen toen online identificatie mislukt was.
Bij het inchecken haperde de app dus niet handig als je alleen daarvan afhankelijk bent (check je code op voorhand en hou die bij de hand), verder werkte het goed. In de lift kan het duidelijker zijn voor dommere mensen dat je net zo lang moet drukken tot de lift in beweging komt en blijft drukken (staat alleen bij de knop buiten de lift). Er kwam wel een attente medewerker aan die ons zag struggelen op de camera. Leuke handgeschreven welkom op het tasje.
Enige minpunt dat je de deuren niet vast kan zetten en daardoor alles trager verloopt, maar er zal wel een idee achter zitten.
Geen idee hoe het soepel het opzegproces verloopt dus daarom is de review eigenlijk nog niet compleet.
